I hate to call anyone out, but a few in the area come to mind as classic examples of places that drop frozen appetizers in the fryer and call it done. Front Door, Back Door, Standard, or 410, the Log Cabin Inn outclasses every single one of them with food that is original and well prepared. The meatloaf is beyond excellent and the French onion soup is the best the area has to offer. Go. Now.

Please see my attached photos for the dinner menu in May 2026. My husband and I have eaten two meals here. The service during our first visit was prompt, while the service during our second visit was a bit slower but always courteous. Here are my husband's and my ratings for our foods across both visits: Bread - 4.5 stars - This bread was free, and it came with olive oil. It was fresh and tasted good. Strawberry salad - 4.5 stars - The mixed greens, strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese were fresh and tasted very good. I liked that the right amount of vinaigrette dressing was added. Soup of the day - 4 stars - The soup was cream of mushroom. I received a large cup of it, and I liked it. Dynamite shrimp - 4.5 stars - My husband said that this appetizer was his favorite food here. A large number of fried shrimps were coated in a slightly spicy sauce. Tuna poke - 3.5 stars - The tuna, avocado, and mango tasted plain, so we added much salt. The wonton chips look slightly burned. Jumbo lump crab cake dinner - 4.5 stars - This entree contained one large crab cake that was very meaty and flavorful (5 stars). On the side was asparagus (4.5 stars) and rice (4 stars). Filet mignon - 4.5 stars - My husband ordered this filet mignon twice. The chef cooked the first steak as my husband had requested, but the second steak was slightly overcooked. Nonetheless, he enjoyed the flavors of the steak and the sides of garlic mashed potatoes and green beans with the right amount of butter and pepper. Chilean sea bass - 3.5 stars - The fish was tender and came with pineapple fried rice and Asian slaw. Other important information: The dress code appears to be smart-casual. My husband and I, as well as many other customers, wore jeans. The restaurant charges a convenience fee for using credit cards. I already can't wait to return. They even have my favorite margarita (pineapple) specifically on the menu! Very rare. It's nothing super special, but I care more about the food and service. I highly recommend it!

Upon entering we were greeted by a very nice hostess and was shown to our seats. Once we received the menus we noticed that they did not have a lot of gluten free options so I settled for the Salad Bar and a French Onion soup without the croutons and my boyfriend got the Broiled Halibut while my son got the kids spaghetti. My boyfriends and my sons meal came with the salad bar otherwise it is a $8.95 upcharge to add to one of the other meal options. Our server was super sweet and very friendly. She was quick to ask the chef for any of my questions I might have and was attentive to our drinks staying filled. The Salad Bar had a bunch of options. I would prefer romaine to iceberg lettuce but it still was good. 6 different types of dressings, lots of toppers and though they didn't have shredded cheese, they have a cheese block you can cut yourself and this cheddar was sooooo yummy. I also really enjoyed the French Onion soup. It wasnt super salty and I prefer it that way. The Halibut was good from what I was told and my kid liked the spaghetti too. There is plenty of seating and its a cute spot.

All of our meals were generous portions. Since the restaurant was not busy I expected our waitress to check on us a little bit more often. Also they were over cooked.

We ordered a cheese stuffed pretzel which no lie, was a singular pretzel bun with a rock hard piece of cheese inside. For $12. I came here wanting to try their "famous" lobster roll which was frankly, inedible. The lobster wasn't cleaned properly leaving several rock hard pieces of cartilage and shell pieces. It was so overcooked it was like chewing rubber. The only saving grace were the wings, but everything else we tried was just so disappointing for the price.

The food was delicious, and the signature cocktails we created for the occasion were a huge hit with our guests. A special shout-out to Brittany, Alec and Cheyenne, who were exceptional. They were attentive, professional, flexible and on top of every detail. The event manager and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We even had the opportunity to decorate the space beforehand, and it looked GREAT! One especially thoughtful touch was Brittany's flexibility in allowing us to use the remaining amount needed to meet our event minimum toward meals for other restaurant patrons. It was such a fun way to share the celebration with others! Our family had an unforgettable evening, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making this milestone birthday so special. If you're looking for a wonderful venue for a special event, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Fantastic food, outstanding service and a team that truly cares about making your celebration memorable!
