    Wedge salad

Service at the bar was good. It was comfortable and relaxing. The nachos were light on the toppings and wouldn't do again. The Burrito on the other hand was great and exactly as described. Wife had the wedge salad which was disappointing. Very little anything truly.

This was my first time at Log Cabin Inn and I really enjoyed it. My mom, sisters, and I went here one evening for dinner when we were in the area. It was a Wednesday night and there was a wait for a table. The hostess told us 20-30 minutes, but it was more like 10! Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us very quickly and took our drink order. We ordered the Pumpkin Pie Martini and Autumn Bourbon Smash. Both drinks were absolutely amazing, but the martini was fantastic. It tasted like dessert in a cup. We ended up getting another round! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. It was not very warm when it was delivered to our table, but was very flavorful. For dinner, we ordered three different burgers and an order of meatloaf. We all loved the burgers, but the meatloaf was just okay. The restaurant as a whole was cozy and welcoming. If I am ever in the area again, I would love to try other dishes!

We had a great time at this cozy restaurant. First of all, the service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was great and reasonably priced. I had the surf & turf burger with Claw and knuckle lobster, Old Bay cheese sauce, corn, fried egg, matchstick potatoes, open face Texas toast. I had it MTO without the beef patty and it was still excellent. The chocolate Crème Brûlée was super delicious. They had delicious cocktails and both domestic and local beers both on tap. We arrived at 7 on a Friday and were seated within 15 minutes without a reservation. Plenty of parking in the lot.

This cute little rustic cabin is so welcoming when you first arrive from the decor to the people it's just adorable. Once you go in and get seated you see a beautiful view of the mountains and it's just breathtaking. Now for the food. All I can say is everything was perfectly delicious. The calamari was probably the best I have had here in Pittsburgh since moving to the area. The Ribeye was so tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. I have absolutely no complaints about it. The broccoli was cooked to the perfect crunch to softness ratio but was just a tad to salty for me (I do not do salt). I also got an Espresso Martini and it did not disappoint. Prices are also quite comparable to most places and the meat is butchered locally which I also love. Supporting local small owned businesses and farmers.

Was there this evening. Christmas card club dinner. Warm- inviting - seasonal beverages. Service was friendly and fast! Always a fun night at the Log Cabin Inn.

I put off writing this review because to be an Elite means you have to submit positive reviews. I cant do that. So here goes the review: The log cabin is not what it used to be. I got the fish and was very disappointed. The oil must have been too hot so they could cook it faster, but it doesn't work. The fish and fries were on the burnt side. To be fair, the manager had another batch of fries cooked. The same result were overly browned fries.

Had a great experience here!! Great service, cute lot cabin with cozy decor inside. Sad in a booth in the back and got the lobster Mac n cheese which was fabulous, maybe slightly over salted. My fiancé got the surf n turf with green beans and it was counted perfectly!! Fun holiday drinks as well made it a fun festive spot! Also had the mushrooms stuffed with cheese and sausage as well as the hot honey and it was amazing!!!

Came here and it's a great place to dine in for lunch and dinner. Food is perfect for the portion and the price. Service is great and went well, and the waitress we had went over the menu and their lunch special. Ambiance was good. They also have a bar place you can sit and have a drink as well. Highly recommended this place. It's a casual wear.

Food is pretty good. I was surprised that the portions were so small. It's been a while since I had been here since they improved their parking area. I got the balsamic chicken and as you can see I got one scoop of potato. I also got a side of mashed sweet potato and it came as one scoop. The scoops reminded me of a cafeteria style where everything is measured exactly, very institutional like. The chicken was warm when I received it and it seems a bit dry. The mozzarella wasn't melted, it was just a little snip for each chicken. I do want to note that I got the stuffed mushrooms for my appetizer and they were delicious. The entree was not impressive to me, not for $19. Some of the other food at the table, steak, salmon, was pretty good, I thought better than mine. Service- was superb. Our waitress visited with us and was very attentive. She went over the deserts after our meal and I asked which of them were made in house. This is very important to me, I don't really like Cisco, etc kinds of deserts. Homemade is special. The only one that is made there as of now is the peanut butter pie. It was ok. Ambience- the place has a cool log cabin vibe. Earthy feel with all the wood and decor. I like the spot, it's cool.

Great place for a yummy meal. Love the decor and atmosphere. My daughter and I shared the Alexandra Chicken and the sauce was superb (picture is just half the full dish). They do have a unique dessert with the chocolate crème brulee. Service was great too. I'd recommend this place to anyone around Pittsburgh.

Never heard of this place and took a Yelp search in trying to deviate fork the usual spots in the area like harmony in. Gosh did this deliver! Honey roasted chicken thighs, goat cheese, fresh jalapeños, and hot honey flatbread for app... Prime rib tips tossed in Heinz 57 sauce with fries and slaw on the softest lightly toasted hoagie bun I ever had! The bartender was awesome. Only minor feedback is hoping the happy hour was written down or on the site so I didn't have to pester asking on a busy night.

Decided to make the drive from Pittsburgh to meet friends first a holiday lunch. I had never been here before. It was a cute log cabin with plenty of parking. Inside was very warm and inviting with a fireplace in one of the rooms. I ordered the French onion soup that was perfect, not over salted and very good. I also got the fried chicken sandwich which was a great portion & fried perfectly. Hubby had a hamburger with egg. He enjoyed that it was cooked perfectly medium rare. I will say the service was pretty slow. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived, but was crowded when we left. We were not in a hurry but having the waitress check on us to refill drinks due to how long the food was taking would have been appreciated.

We visited on Father's Day, a bit later in the day. Our server, Anthony, prefaced our ordering with the fact that they've served over 1,000 people that day and some of their items were unfortunately out - like the spaetzles, schnitzels and a few of their popular sandwiches. He shared and went over the large beer, cocktails and drink menu too (which includes mocktails for $5 or so!). To share, we ordered the Giant Bavarian Brezeln (served with North Country Black Bear Mustard and beer cheese) and the crab cake. Both were tasty! The crab cake was full of lots of crab and little breading; the pretzel was perfect and so good with the mustard. For our main dishes, we ordered the Norwegian Salmon with a side salad and mashed potatoes, Roasted Beet salad with chicken (fresh arugula, sweet beets and savory with huge pieces of chicken), Steak salad and kids burger. If I had to choose a favorite out of the few, I'd say the steak salad would be an excellent choice but the others are just as flavorful.. it truly depends on your taste buds. I like how big their menu is, all the side options available plus the endless selection of dressings for your salad. For the little ones, the burger was pretty big and the fries dusted with whatever seasoning is on them were amazing. Everything tasted fresh, looked well prepared and presented and was oh so good. Anthony was on it and very kind and quick to check on us throughout the meal. A historic and popular spot, with plenty of indoor seating at tables and the bar, plus an outdoor patio and bar too. Kid friendly as they can run and play around in the grass area in front of the restaurant. Highly recommend if out for a family day or a late night with friends with beer in hand.
