Merry Christmas everyone I wanted to share my experience…read morewith Mansfield Auto Care, I have to give them a a huge shoutout. During the snow storm a few day's ago. I hit black ice and did some damage to my tie rods 3 to be exact. Knowing they were booked solid they managed to fit me and and fix my front end and do alignment . To me they went above and beyond to help me get back on the road. You see I'm only here visiting my family till the 29th, I was honestly expecting to pay $$$ but to my surprise it was well below what I thought it would cost. The price was very very reasonable !! So Thank you to the Mansfield Auto Care Company! Merry Christmas!

About as good as it gets with auto repair. I brought my Hyundai Accent here a while back with…read morebrake problems. Wasn't sure if it was front or rear brakes. The tech. rode with me patiently in the car to help diagnose it. I don't think most mechanics would have rode with me as long and as patiently as he did, nor would they have the skill to diagnose. I found prices to be very fair and, in fact, less than the dealership. They don't use factory replacement parts, but nowadays, after-market parts are usually the same quality and sometimes better. Although my rear brakes were the problem, I asked about prices for the front brakes. They were very upfront about the fact that when they replace brake pads in a small car like mine, they also replace the rotors. Since these rotors are already quite thin, to machine them down more (instead of replacing) would risk screwing up the whole braking system and eventually costing more. I know garages that would just do as you ask - replace the break pads and machine down the rotors - even to the point where it would become unsafe and cause more problems. This shows me that these guys are concerned about their reputation and will only do a job if they can do it correctly. They also do it at a reasonable price. Does that sound like most auto repair shops you know of?

The car I was having them do the inspection was only 3 years old at the time and I driving only to the train station with the car. So I know the car is in good working order and should easily pass. When I brought my car in there for inspection and they said everything checked out. Then while I was paying one of the guys ran in and said my windshield wipers had to be replaced. I told him about two weeks prior I put new ones on and they don't need to be replaced. He goes off and said that I have to or I fail inspection. He also said that there are state camera in their garage and the state is watching and listening to what they say and he says they needed to be replaced. (Yeah I am sure they a listening at that very second). I ask if he can show me why they failed and he said he already removed the bad windshield whippers and throw them away. Now I owe him $25 for new windshield wiper blades plus the state inspection fee of $35. (Who pays $25 for non branded windshield wipers! ) I told him no and he said that I fail the test and it would cost another $35 to retake the test. At the end I payed $35 for the inspection and $12 for the windshield wipers. Clearly they were just trying to make extra money off me. I cannot image if I had an older car what they might say I needed. I'll not be going back to this place!

I got a good feeling as soon as the office manager Amanda picked up the phone and responded warmly to my last-minute request for an appointment. I was looking for a mechanic who could inspect a used car I was considering buying. (I had just driven in from out of state and in retrospect should have known to call ahead to set up an appointment, note to self.) Despite being clearly in high demand and booked solid, they were able to find a way to fit me in that day. The owner George's frank assessment proved invaluable and gave me the peace of mind to make a major financial decision. His expertise saved me from what would likely have been a major future headache with one car, while providing information about the pros and cons of a second car that I ended up deciding was a good fit. I cannot emphasize enough how precious their honest, top-notch expertise was, especially notable given all the pressures everyone is under these days. Hats off to the whole team, so grateful.

The first time I went, I was having a problem with my car so I dropped it of for a diagnosis, but came back to a bill for around $200 and a "fixed" muffler. The problem was that my muffler had been covered under a Midas warranty, and had I been notified of the cause of the problem, I would have been able to replace the muffler for free. Other times have been perfectly run-of-the-mill and I haven't had repeat problems with things that have been repaired here. The cost is nothing to write home about, but the nighttime drop off is handy.

She took it to her local dealership, and they claimed it needed a completely new engine. We had her car towed 7 hours back to Canton Car Center because we've trusted them to correctly diagnose and repair our cars for years. They diagnosed the actual problem as a faulty head gasket, saving me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. They did not just stop at the fix; they went completely out of their way to check and double check every detail, and ensure the car was 100% safe for the road. There is no one I trust more with my family's cars than Canton Car Center, and they will continue to be our go-to repair shop going forward.
