We used to make the trip to the Dedham Costco, but ever since the Sharon location opened this has become our go-to store. Much closer for us and honestly just a really well run Costco overall. The store is always clean, organized, and easy to navigate even when it's busy. The staff deserves a lot of credit too. Every employee we've dealt with has been genuinely friendly. Not fake corporate friendly either. Actual "how's your day going?" kind of people who seem like they don't hate being there, which these days feels rare. We went yesterday with a very simple plan. Grab some meat, toilet paper, paper towels, and a case of Coke Zero. Standard Costco run. Somehow we left with all of that plus a Ninja slushy machine, a prep sink for my garage, six pounds of whole bean coffee, and a couple whole trout that we're grilling tonight. That place is dangerous in the best possible way. You walk in needing batteries and leave questioning whether you should buy a kayak and a gazebo. Checkout is another thing they do well here. They always seem to have plenty of registers open and the lines move fast. I'm an Executive Member and usually go during the early access hour, which is fantastic if you want to avoid the real chaos and shop in relative peace before the carts start colliding like a demolition derby. The gas station is also a huge plus. Prices are consistently better and even when the line looks intimidating, it moves quickly. My only minor complaint, and it's not enough to affect the rating at all, is the location of the food court. If you're just going in for a hot dog or pizza, you're kind of fighting upstream against everyone exiting the store. Not the end of the world, just an odd setup. Other than that, love this Costco. Rhode Island seriously needs to get the hint and build one already because half the parking lot in Sharon seems to have Rhode Island plates anyway. read more

I went where no logically thinking adult should go... Costco on a Saturday morning. The store was clean, well lit, and organized. The prices were comparable to its competitors. The staff I interacted with were friendly and fairly efficient. The parking lot is large but could definitely benefit from additional parking spaces. This store can definitely test the strength of a relationship. Nearly every aisle I ventured down had a couple arguing. Who knew a multi pack of bounty paper towels could cause so much turmoil. Overall it was a positive experience but I definitely wouldn't recommend going on a Saturday again unless you were training to be an MMA fighter. read more

We've been shopping here since opening weekend. Most days we breeze in and out without encountering too many people. On days when it gets busy the front end staff do a great job guiding shoppers to open check out lanes. They even have a staff member that assists the self service line with a scanner "ring" that helps move the line along quickly. Today we were looking for a product (a Winix air purifier) that was in the store, but we couldn't seem to locate it on the floor. Two workers were nice enough to help us. We drive from Rhode Island to come up here because we prefer this wholesale warehouse shopping experience in the ones that are offered In Rhode Island. Everyone here is super nice we love coming back great deals. Everything is way cheaper than In Rhode Island and if you have the executive membership, you can come shopping at 9 AM versus 10 AM but today was extremely crazy busy by 9 AM. The doors weren't even open and they were at least 40 people waiting to go inside. read more

Costco in Sharon was opened earlier this year back in March & has become my new favorite! It's a little out of the way for me, but worth the trip haha. They have a good stock of everything & I find that they have more deals on the clothes here, compared to Dedham & Avon. Like the same clothing items but priced differently lol. So far, the most well organized Costco's I've seen and check out is super smooth + quick! I love buying fruit from Costco, and fruit looked very fresh when we visited. Costco located in Sharon, Massachusetts is fairly new and is the seventh store in Massachusetts. As a Rhode Islander, I used to have travel to Dedham or Waltham for Costco which was a 45-55 minute drive from downtown Providence. The new location is a lot closer. This Costco location has tire service, gas, optical, hearing aid services, pharmacy services, and liquor. The aisles were fully stocked and clean. Employees were friendly and offered samples. We also checked out the Costco Food Court and used the kiosk to order a hot dog and drink combo ($1.50) and a cheese pizza slice ($1.99). The hot dog and drink combo included a quarter-pound all-beef hotdog and 20-ounce drink. I pressed Coke on the dispenser and it tasted really watery so I threw it out and got Sprite instead. Later on, I saw a sign on top of the Coke saying "out of stock." The cheese pizza slice was a really good size and very cheesy. It was very filling, quick, and convenient for lunch. I'm so glad Costco has a new location closer to Providence, RI and looking forward to my next shopping trip. read more

Brand new as of March 2025, this is the best Costco I have been to in a long time. It is spacious, in all aspects. The best is the parking lot. I hope it doesn't get too crazy busy and crowded like everything else in Massachusetts. They sell One Mighty Mill bread. It is one of the best stone milled organic whole wheat we found in the US. Staff were too friendly. They have a GAS STATION! They have frozen Halal goat and lamb meats. read more

Wonderful experience shopping at Costco Sharon! Plenty of parking and the store is humongous. There is so much stuff here! Eggs are available here even when the other stores have run out. I would not recommend the spicy tuna sushi as the rice is mushy and the spicy mayo overwhelmed the tuna. The tuna tasted fresh though. At this Costco, they have trash cans separated into landfill and recycling. Pro tip: Make sure that you put the address for the Shaws Sharon in the GPS because otherwise it will take you down a neighborhood road that does not have access to Costco (locked gate). read more

As a Rhode Islander, I hadn't been to a Costco before. Eager to see what the buzz is about, I stopped by. It's an easy ride here up Route 95 and the warehouse is pretty close to the highway, so regular visits wouldn't be to tough a commute. First impressions: this place has a huge footprint; you can't get in without a membership card and if you say you want to go in to see if you want to get that card you can - but you can't buy anything if you don't join (BJ's, the warehouse-type store that is in RI, will give a day pass and let you shop, just with a surcharge); membership costs a bit more than at BJ's but the most expensive membership tier seems to give you more benefits than BJ's; and, there is WAY more here than at BJ's , including a full pharmacy that we were told accepts insurance! If you don't know, Costco is at least national (and may be international though not global) and things are supposed to be available online - but I can't figure out if it's possible to order from warehouses other than your "home" one, which may or may not have the fullest range of merchandise. This gleaming store has been open for less than 6 months, so everything is new. The aisles are wide enough that we never felt crowded (until the checkout line), they had more of the brands and specific products we actually intended to buy than BJ's - except for the filtered milk I drink, although they stock protein shakes form that company. Prices seemed to be actually discounted (not always the case with BJ's), so that if I bought a giant sized container there would actually be savings as long as I finish that massive box. In addition to low prices on goods, Costco offers coupons that DO NOT have to be clipped. They also offer home delivery, despite being about 20 miles away from me. For those looking for it, there was lots of kosher chicken available and the price was fabulous (neither is true at Stop & Shop). No fresh beef, but a few frozen options were stocked, also well priced. We were so impressed by the great customer service from everyone we spoke with, the food samples (apparently a known thing at Costco), the prices, and the comfortable shopping experience - not at all crowded feeling but still a bit overwhelming given the size of this place - that we actually joined. read more

this might be my favorite costco ever, which surprises me since i'm from california and we do costco so well. but i love the organized, clean, short lines even on a busy day. how friendly everyone is. the fact that you don't need a membership card for the food court (a rare find these days). i love that they carry a number of fun halal items like chicken tikka masala samosas and beef sausage. they carry pani puri and pita bread that is thick, none of this paper thin stuff that the northeast keeps shoving down my throat literally. i found dosa batter this last time and kosher turkey deli meat for sandwiches. i hope it stays this way here. read more

Amazing! This Costco just opened this week and it's beautiful, organized, and spacious. The gas station is insane, so wide and open, with colored lights that tell you which stands are open. The store itself has very wide aisles so that you don't feel very crammed when walking down the aisles. Also let it be said that this is the first Costco in the Northeast with SUSHI and POKÉ. My heart. Also maybe it's because it's opening week but all of the staff are honestly so friendly. I was surprised but I came on a week day during opening week and didn't really have any issues with waiting in line in the store or for gas. This Costco happens to be much closer to me than the other Costcos in Mass, and I'm so grateful that it's FINALLY HERE! read more

Today was opening day at the new Costco in Sharon. The store is huge, and the staff was very welcoming. It definitely seems bigger than Waltham and Dedham. The increase in sq ft. definitely helps with the flow of people. The food court, for instance, is set back a bit more from the registers than Dedham's, where people lined up at the food court, and people exiting the store are having to dodge each other. There's much more of a buffer zone in Sharon. One more notable difference at this location is that if you like sushi, this is the one Costco in MA that I've seen offering it in the prepared food section. It's nice to have another Costco option in the area. Hopefully, it will also relieve some of the pressure on surrounding locations and reduce crowding slightly. read more

I have been to the Sharon location a dozen times. Plenty of parking. Gas station to the far right. Inside Costco is very spacious, clean and for the most part organized. I did notice a lack of signage on a few sale items though. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience each of my visits. read more

We mistakenly went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed resulting in the slowest shopping trip because every aisle was jammed with people. I was shocked by how much rotten food there was in the produce section. I understand that the food is perishable, but after the fifth different item rotting in the bin it felt more neglectful than coincidence. On a positive note, there is quite a bit of ethnic diversity of the local customer base, so there were a lot of different food options not available at the competitive wholesale club I frequent. That's where the positivity ends, because when we finally got through the crowds to checkout the customer service from the Costco employees was atrocious. The tone and attitude of the employees and how they spoke to customers left a lot to be desired. We were rushed like cattle through checkout and the cashier was slamming our food from one side of the register to the other with no regard for damaging our purchases like they were going to be rewarded for getting us out of the store 30 seconds faster. I hope because this is a new Costco location, the fact that many of the employees cannot tell you where things are or the poor customer service improves. For example I went to the hearing aid department to get wax filters for my Costco hearing aids. The 1st time I waited for a half hour and the people there were walking around like mice in a maze. The second time there were two employees there and NO CLIENTS! I was told I couldn't have my wax filters because I hadn't made an appointment to pick them up. I was a retail manager for 25 years and I would never have tolerated my employees that they wouldn't service a customer. I live in Sharon but will be going to the Avon Costco because of this mind blowing employee staffing. I went a month without my hearing aids. I cannot drive myself there. But she didn't apologize and instead just had us go to the service desk for them to refund us. Overall, just a sketchy situation.
