Very impressed ! I stopped by for an oil change before my state inspection as my "maintenance" light was on. They did a safety inspection and found a taillight out and replaced that. This saved me a fail on my inspection and a second trip. When they found they were out of my oil filter, they called to find who had one and gave me discount coupon for there or that site the next day. Also to their credit they did not try to sell what was not needed and explained all options with costs up front. There were also fast, and the two ladies on my prior visit and gentleman on this visit could not be more professional. Our family will definitely return ! read more

I love this Valvoline. I have been here 3 times all for oil changes and they have gone above and beyond. the current staff, is so awesome. I had a problem with my windshield wiper and Alyssa fix the whole issue in like 5 seconds. I had a problem with my check engine light and they checked it right away for me and helped me with the issue with no extra cost. Go somewhere else! My husband just spent over $100 here on a synthetic oil change only to find oil leaking out of his car the next day. He goes back, manager is busy and the KIDS working there say everything is tight and they aren't sure maybe it's a "fluke". My husband continues to call and gets the run around every time.. manager is busy or not in. Talks to customer service and puts a claim in but that's not getting him anywhere either. 2 days later and all of the oil has leaked out!! He goes and buys MORE oil to put in it ; over a week and still no resolution. He plans to stop by there again today but I don't see this getting fixed anytime soon. They had us wait in line for over an hour then they let three cars in front of us that were behind us and then when we got into the oil changing bay they tried to tell us that they had no conventional oil and that we had you synthetic and it was $80 for the oil change after they made us wait an hour. On top of that they have a 15 minute guarantee I Jiffy Lube and there is only about two people working and they're trying to service 12 different cars at once. Don't waste your time going here and if you do makes you ask a bunch of questions before you wait. Then to Top things off we're on the highway driving away from this place looking for another oil change place and they didn't even close our hood the thing shaking and it could've killed us. Great Service! Took my car in for an oil change and discovered that my license plate lights were out. While changing them one got cracked so Manager Roger ordered me 2 new ones free of charge. They were very apologetic that it happened. A couple of days later I got a call saying they were in. They changed them out. I went to valvoline in norwood and had my oil changed now i noticed the guy checking my fluids and was adding windshield washer fluid and he was actually filling it with oil when he realized his mistake he topped it off with actual washer fluid closed the hood and told me i was all set never even told me what had happened good thing i realized because if anyone know when you put oil on glass it smears this could have potentially cause me to get in a accident if i used my washer fluid i will never go back to any valvoline again and noone should read more

What used to be a reliably quick 15-minute oil change pre-pandemic is now a frustrating 45 minute wait in the car - if no one is in line ahead of you. I arrived one minute before they opened and was the second car in the 4-car garage. They were staffed to handle two cars with a mix of experienced employees and some who looked like they were learning in the job. Stay away. Waited almost an hour to get into the bay and there was only one car in front of me. Once I was in the bay they told me they couldn't do an oil change because they didn't have the correct filter for my car. From what I saw the employees seem to have no system or direction from management. They hop from one car to another car before finishing. The car in front of me wasn't worked on for about 20 minutes. It was finished when finally an employee closed the hood and gave the guy his receipt.. Ridiculous. What I achieved was a waste of time, oil on my hood from the employees hands all over my car, and frustration. Also saw an employee filling a car with oil and before putting it in they sprayed it all over the engine. They laughed and looked around to make sure no one saw what they did. If I can give a zero I would. Today I waited in the line, when it was my turn I pulled up to the bay that was opening, I was rudely told to wait, by the tech named Iain, then was told to back up. I was told another car was waiting a long time and he was next. I was also waiting a longtime. But the car he pointed to had an elderly gentleman, who came after me and when he tried to pull into the spot next to me took 3 attempt and almost hit me. When he past me by, I said to him you know I was before you, he smiled and shrugged his shoulder and pull right in. The tech Iain again, was super rude. I have been to this location, in Walpole, many times and each time my experience is worse. This is not the first time someone was taken in front of me. I'm done with this location from the long wait, to the rude tech. To the constant push to buy something. To the overpriced oil change. I wouldn't mind paying if the experience is better. read more

Pull in tell Hector "I'll need to help you open the hood" because there's some damage it takes two people. He hears me acknowledges but proceeds to open the hood by himself before allowing me to get out of the vehicle. I tell him to stop and he looks surprised. I say "I told you I'd need to help" He responds with "but I got it open" To which I say "no you didn't you're just messing it up more" He continues to make assumptions with the information he's putting in the computer. Overall bad experience. If a costumer tells you something you listen to them not take it upon yourself to just try anyway. He added that he didn't know why I told him I'd need to help him open the hood and I said that was the point you don't know and I wasn't saying it for no reason. read more

I will start off by saying the ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars and not a -50 stars is because of Mike at this location. Other than that they had caused nothing but hell for me for over a month. I went there for an oil change because I had zero time to make an appointment with my garage and I needed one badly. I knew it would be expensive but I was desperate. I went in on May 22 and the girl told me "my car won't take regular oil and I need synthetic." This isn't true because I've never got synthetic before but they obviously just want my money. About $97 dollars to be exact. I should've walked away but I was in a rush and just needed it done. They also convinced me one of my filters needed to be replaced. $125 dollars later I drove away. I'm on my way to work that day and my skid plate falls off. I had to call AAA and was an hour late to work (I get paid hourly so it matters). They told me t was because they didn't screw my skid plate on correctly. The whole thing was mangled and I would have to get a new one. So I call Valvoline and get the run around of "call back when the manager is in so we can fix this for you." I go in that Friday and I speak with Mike who says they'll have to order me one but I'll need to come the following Tuesday when the manager Joe is in. Okay cool. So I go Tuesday. Joe doesn't even have the decency to get out of his car to talk to me directly. Poor mike is running back and forth to get the okay to order my part. Finally he says Joe told him to order it and it was being ordered that day. Great. They will call me when it comes in. I wait a week and half before I call back asking where it is. Mike tells me it's on the way and not to worry. I wait ANOTHER week+ and finally talk to Joe. Now we're almost a month out from when it fell off. He tells me he never ordered it because he didn't know which skid plate to get (why didn't you call me to ask for my VIN number!?!?) so I give him my VIN number and he tells me he will order it and call me by the end of the day. Never hear from him (shocker!!) So I wait 2 days and call corporate. They try to get a hold of Joe and surprisingly enough he was already gone for the day like every other time I called. So now I'm pissed and ask them to do something. She tells me they left a message with his boss and someone will contact me in 24 hours. I wait 2 more days and hear nothing so I call corporate again and flip out. They put me back on the phone with Mike who tells me Joe finally ordered it the day before (so after I called corporate and they talked to him and not when he told me he would) and it should be here soon. Mike called me that evening and told me it was in, and he put it back on for me that weekend. This place is a joke. Mike was so nice trying to cover for the manager. However, he did tell me as I was leaving that Joe wanted to compensate me somehow for my time and frustration and he'd call me the next day. It's been a month+ now and I'm still waiting for some type of compensation. This place is a joke and I will NEVER go back. Not worth the "convenience." This caused me nothing but stress and on top of it cost me $125 dollars for them to completely lie to me in hopes I'd just go away. read more

I Called yesterday Valvoline at Chicopee, Mass ' number and I spoke with a lovely lady that seen to be in Florida instead. I m a new customer and she was incredible and even though offered me a good coupon for Synthetic oil changing for my Mini Cooper. She told me that I didn't have to make an appointment jut show up. She also took my information and detail about the year and model of my vehicle. When I was there at the shop the manager started greeting me by saying they don't work in Mini Cooper and to get it done he needed in advance notice. i was so unhappy the way they welcomed to the store as a new customer. I took things relax and I told him that I already called and spoke with a lady. i showed him my text and email and after that he seen didn't haven any choice to be attended. I waited for a while and a nice guy the name Aramin was the best hospitable person there. he changed my oil and explained and showed me a leak of oil was in my car and a pice of intake hose was missing. I also, very disappointed because I paid $90 and my bill should be $64 according with the $50 coupon I have. The manager not even scanned my coupon. He said that was the price. I believe that was a lack of courtesy from his side to not even look the bars coupon the Employee from Fla, texted me on my phone. The rest of the employees were amiable and helpful. I believe that they were busy and maybe the manager were frustrated to work a little extra in a Mini Cooper. But, I believe that is great that we can see everything they are doing in our vehicles. In my car the Antifreeze wasn't checked, it is low. I never was told about the air pressure on my tires. Never knew how the battery condition was. I might won't go to that shop again but I would like that the regionAl store Managment congratulate Mr. Aramin for the amazing attention and customer service that he provide me. In the last year (once my vehicles surpass their free maintenance windows), I have begun to bring my car to Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Norwood, MA. I also go to the location in Walpole, MA as well depending on location and whereabouts. First let me say that the convenience is what makes Valvoline Instant Oil Change worth it and if you combine your experience with a coupon, the value is OK. I will say the dealer price is a bit better because they will include a tire rotation, the only downside with most dealers (and in my case) you have to schedule your appointment and end up burning two to three hours for what should take 15 to 20 minutes. THAT is why Valvoline Instant Oil Change is worth a visit. My issue: I have had TWO of the SAME incidents with both my cars where after the oil change, I noticed a small oil puddle under my car. Upon inspection, I noticed oil slowly leaking from the oil plug. On both occasions, the gasket on oil plug was either damaged or broken. On both occasions, I needed to go back in order to rectify the issue which is time out of my day and busy schedule. In both cases, Ryan Wiltshire of the Norwood, MA location was very accommodating and fixed the issue straight away. He was very apologetic and assured me there was no damage done to my car. My Input: The 'oil change' is probably one of the most simple maintenance procedures in car repair. The hardest part is applying the proper torque to the oil filter. My feedback is, why not just change the oil plug gasket out with every oil change to ensure this does not happen? Also, while I get this service is 'instant', there should be more checks and balances in place. As a customer of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, I am actually reconsidering bringing my cars to any location in the future. I also have lost a lot of trust in any other services offered. I will reconsider my rating based on the response I get to this posting as well as my emails to customer service. I get mistakes happen, but twice to one customer is not coincidental. read more

I will never go back to this Valvoline. I was trying to save time by going to this Walpole location because I couldn't go to my regular place for an oil change. The tech, Donald, was unbelievably rude. His attitude was poor, passive aggressive and sarcastic. Then, right after he said something to me I heard him say to the other tech, "I'm not nice to people, because they're not nice to me". I know it's only an oil change place but its still a service oriented business. He was so uninterested in me that he didn't even put a new service sticker on my windshield. $80 is a lot to pay for an oil change when your treated like something he dug out of his ear. Took my truck in Sunday for an oil change. I have been taking all 4 of our family cars here for a while, pretty good until now. The tech up top (Joseph) was rude and completely uninterested in anything he was doing. Mumbled when he spoke, looking away and ticked off when I asked him to repeat himself. When he filled the oil, dripped oil from the hose into the engine compartment and never wiped it off. Closed the hood, never checked the level or my oil pressure. I re-opened the hood and asked him to check the level, he asked "you really want me to check it' and I said yes, he was annoyed by this. Never checked tire pressure or added washer fluid as indicated on the service ticket. I added 1 gallon when I got home. No mention of resetting my oil maintenance light and also put my mileage down wrong on the slip . I will never bring another car down there again, I don't care how "convenient" it is. Jiffy Lube is down the street from here and the dealer oil change is $60.00 for the 8 quarts , not $124.00. Im done. Bob read more

The service here was great - my first time, so I got out of the car to ask about what's included in the service. The guy answered my questions, then handed me a coupon for $20 off my oil change. I also needed my AC checked, as it was just blowing warm air. They had a special over the Memorial Day weekend doing AC checks for free (usually $30 I think) - They hooked something up to the car and ran some tests to troubleshoot, asked me some questions, ran more tests, then the guy working on it MacGyver'ed a paper clip and something else into place to test a relay, had me turn it on, and the AC worked. He gave me the faulty relay plug and told me where to go to get a new one and how much it would cost. $6. He totally went above and beyond when he could have given me a half-answer ("I think it's the relay, but you'll need a new one to know for sure") and found a way to pinpoint a problem and the solution, and at no charge. Great service. The only surprises were positive ones (here's a coupon! Let us fix your air conditioner for free!) Ridiculously positive experience. read more
