Felt like getting a mani and a pedi today with my girlfriend. We decided to yelp a place an saw that it was 20% off bc of a grand opening promotional deal. We said "all what the hell let's try it!" Got a mani with gel + design ($12 for a mani + $10 for gel color + $5 design) but they charge me $25 which isn't 20% off Got a pedi (sea salt rub and mask) for $19 ($23 original price) again which wasn't 20% off Eye brow wax and shaping ($10) and was charged $8 Aside from the weird pricing (if you go just do the math bc I sure didn't until I got home), I really do think these girls do a real good job. Their paint job is great and Annie took her time to clean and massage my feet and hands. She also did 3 coats and I felt really pampered. The most important thing was that we didn't feel rushed and if we didn't like something they took the time to fix it. I definitely think it's a place to try just make sure you calculate the price they charge you! read more

Walked in today without an appointment and I sat with Sophia for a white/pink ombré full set, she was awesome! She is so sweet and really pays attention to detail. I live right around the corner but haven't been here in a few years (previous management wasn't great) but l noticed the yelp rating was higher than it used to be so I decided to give them a chance again. Sophia's work and customer service definitely reflects the higher yelp reviews! read more

Spring Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Fremont, California

My friends and I went to get out nails done a while back. Covid precautions were present ( a clear separator from you and the tech but not so much the other customer next to you.) The lady doing my pedicure was a little pushy but she got the work done and I was decently satisfied with the results. My friends both got fake nails. They liked the way their nails turned out but it was clear that the nail techs' skills were dramatically different. The two younger techs we're definitely more experienced and kind compared to the older techs in the back (if you read other good reviews that have names, it's prob the two younger techs) With that being said their service is not bad and I may come back because of how close it is to where I live but chances are, I wouldn't let them do my hands because of the material and skills offered. Price wise, I would say that it's a tad bit pricier ( like a few dollars) than other places but they get the job done. read more

I really enjoyed my time here. I recently moved from Sacramento to Union City and I needed to find a place for mani's and pedi's. The owner was super friendly. It was clean and I was the only one there. I always get dip and this is the second time I got a gel top coat. I hated it the first time because it chipped right away. I told her my concern about my previous experience elsewhere and she listened attentively and guaranteed that it wouldn't happen this time around. So far one week in and they look great! read more

Heard this place was under new management so I wanted to give it a try - I definitely think it has significantly improved! I got an acrylic fill (single gel color) for $28 which is a really good price. I didn't get my nail tech's name but she was very friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. She made sure to check in with me every step of the way to ensure I liked how my nails were turning out, which I really appreciated. Overall really satisfied with my experience here and would come back for a new set! read more

Not a fancy place but the quality and service are always spot on. My gel mani/pedi never chip until my 2, 3, or even 4 weeks later. That's how good they are. I recommend making an appointment because they get fully booked sometimes. Plus, they do a great job of estimating the time so I've never had to wait more than 5 min after my appointment, unlike other places who tell you to come at a certain time, the. Make you wait for half an hour. What's the point of making appointments then? Last but not least, the place is female-owned so why not support our young, local entrepreneurs! read more

I've probably gone to most of the nail salons in Hayward and in my opinion this is THE BEST. I come here to get my nails done every 2 weeks and there is a man there who does them every time. Not sure what his name is, but he takes his time making sure your nails come out pretty much perfect. I recently got the purple holographic nails and they are gorgeous! The prices aren't bad at all which is a huge pro. They also do waxing and I've gotten my eyebrows waxed twice. Both those times I was happy with the result. Highly recommend Spring Nails to anyone looking for a nail salon!! read more

I have been going to this place for last 6months and everytime I go there i get an amazing experience. The bars are really high and the staff is just amazing!! So far Mae and Tina have helped me and they went above and beyond to make sure I get out of there happy! I have bad eczema on hands and feet and they do an amazing job handling it...infact last time I didn't like the nail paint I chose and Tina was so sweet to remove it and change it just so that I feel great towards the end of it! You guys are doing an amazing job, Thank you!! read more

Super friendly.... I can't deny that... But that's all the positive I can say... I wanted a fill... No big deal. I go for cat claw shape nails... Their definition is triangle... Cool... What part of SHARP don't you get? She (I don't want to mention names) kept on asking "sharp enough?" 3-4 times and continuously never had a point. Sharp... LADY I SAID SHARP! I end up with nails that look like i hit a belt sander by accident... Not even round tips... Pathetic, I'm sorry... I hate them. Doesn't end their. I got Gel. Black was painted on fine... The clear coat... POOLED ON ALL CUTICLES. Very stupidly annoying part... She eyeballed everything. My left hand nails are shorter than my right hand.... Wtf... I MEAN WHAT THE FRACK!!!???!?!? I shrug everything off "it's a damn fill... 10-15 bucks for botched crappy work.... Bleh... WHATEVER!!!" NOPE.... $25!!!!!????!?!?! I was so dissatisfied, I didn't even bother to have them redone, risking being hurt from THEIR frustrations... I didn't even use the 5% off check in offer... Just to give them a full price chance... NOT GOING BACK.... Not ever! read more

Finally I found the place I can call my favorite, I have been going to Sophia for 6 months now and I really get so excited for our appointments. The girl loves what she does and is really good at it. I tried this place because my usually nail lady Renne over at dnr nail shop didn't have an appt time for the time that suited me , and the was the only other nail place nearby If giving Zero stars was an option I would . First of all i called in and made an appt. when I came in the still made me wait for about 20+ mins While I got seated the lady was still helping someone else I still waited for another 10 mins . I showed the lady a design and she said she could do it . Long story short she fucked up my nails . Usually i wouldn't be as made as I was but the thing that ticked me off the most was that she tired to grab my card out of my hand while my nails were still drying . Never returning again read more

I don't get mani/pedi's often so I can't be too knit-picky, but I don't think I'll be returning to Spring Nails. As I said, I don't get my nails done in salons that often (I usually do them myself at home) but I wanted to treat myself because I just finished moving to a new place and my nails were in need of some TLC. I got there a little before 4, which was the time I had made an appointment earlier in the day. The lady that did my mani/pedi seemed a little rushed, so it wasn't a super relaxing experience. The other thing that bothered me was how much she trimmed down my cuticles.. she went HAM on my cuticles. I have cuts on a couple fingers from where she rushed through/ cut too far. On my toes, she trimmed off my pinky toe so small, she painted my skin and it washed off as soon as I took a shower. So I paid $25, its now 2 days later, and polish is chipping. I didn't get shellac, but I would think getting a professional manicure it would last a little longer than 2 days before it starts chipping. Lesson Learned: You get what you pay for. read more

Hot rock massage with every mani. New chairs and clean. Make a appointment Mey is getting busy

OK so I have no words for this place probably one of the best nail shop ever. Sophia is great I only get my nails done from Sophia she does my pedicure, she does my nails and every time they are perfect I never have to tell her how to do it she knows her work she is very clean. I got my nails done a couple of times with me she's very good as well if Sophia is not available you can ask for me she is very friendly and she does the job very quickly and she does do the job very nicely as well. They prices are pretty reasonable. This place will definitely not disappoint you you will love coming here and you will definitely have different choices of getting your nails done with Sophia she is a great artist who knows how to do the job exactly the way you want it you can show her the pictures you can show her on Google she knows her work so give her a call or try them out you'll love it read more

After like 2 months of my feet being in winter boots, they were looking pretty rough so I decided to treat myself to a mani-pedi. I stopped getting shellac manicures a while back just because it was more cost effective (and therapeutic) to change my own polish while watching tv, but yeah... it was time for some maintenance. Don't be fooled by the nondescript neighborhood strip mall surroundings, this place is clean and cozy inside. $25 mani/pedi, with a respectable assortment of polishes, is where it's at. Who says you can't have neon nails in the winter? My nails are super bright and so was my mood after that visit! Check them out! read more

Thank you to Mey and Kelly for making our first time so great! They were both super friendly and very attentive! I used to really like Spring Nails but lately the service has decreased in quality. They tend to overbook so there are long waits and they aren't as thorough with their pedicures as they once were. Since they don't turn down anyone who calls for an appointment, they don't have ample time for each customer. Quantity has taken the place of quality, they are understaffed and it seems their staff is overworked. The girls are always nice in there, it just seems that it's not in their hands, how many appointments get booked. read more

Love this place. Acrylics, gel manicures, pedis you name it... Sophia (the new owner) is ALWAYS my go-to. Show her a design and she will execute it so meticulously. The other 2 sweet ladies are very good as well. Thanks for taking care of me! read more

The ladies took a same day appt for 3 of us to get a mani/pedi. They don't push extra costs on you, like nail art...the ladies did many coats and made sure each nail was clean all around. They even stayed open way past 5 to accommodate us. They stayed open till 7:30! A longer massage would be great, but they definitely take their time with the mani/pedi. Didn't feel rushed at all. read more

I came here last Tuesday for a mani/pedi right before I left to Cabo. Employees were kind and accommodating. However, once I got to Cabo I noticed my big toe was hurting on the left side of my nail. I looked at it and was purplish and when I pressed on it was painful and puss came out. I've been her 5 days now and it's finally going back to normal, on my last day here. My friends come to this salon all the time and this has never happened to them. I understand shit happens but I hope they read this comment and start sterilizing there stuff bc the infection I got from here has put a damper on my trip a bit. read more

My boyfriend and I came in around 2pm and got greeted by Sofia very quickly, we got seated right away. Sofia made sure our water temperature was to our liking. The experience here was amazing. May took care of my boyfriend and he says her massage was the best one he's ever had! They also have a yelp deal, $20 for a $25 voucher which was awesome! They will be remodeling in 2 weeks but still going to keep their hours open! We will be coming back again very soon! Ask for Sofia and May! Very nice and friendly ladies!!! read more

I wish I knew how this place got so many five star reviews. My nails lifted a few days after I just got them and everyday it gets caught in my hair when I run my fingers through my hair. It's so annoying you would think a fresh mani wouldn't create such a hassle. Isn't it like basic 101 not to apply the coat to the point where it lifts. read more

I'm not from the area, and I decided to come here because of their 4-star rating.... Bad decision. I understand it's a hit and miss, maybe because I'm not a familiar customer of theirs, they were just trying to get me in and out? A couple things to note- 1- the lady was soo ROUGH with removing the excess residue from my previous shellac manicure that I actually started bleeding from the corner of my finger! Then she had the audacity to ask, " what happen? I don't cut cuticle yet?" Uhm, that's because you pushed my cuticles back soo hard, lady!! 2- they DID NOT sanitize the cuticle instrument after she cleaned my cuticles. She placed them back into her pouch for the next customer. 3- I was waiting in another station, waiting for the lady to finish with a customer, and as soon as she was done, she had me switch seats, and DID NOT change towels on the table. It was from the previous customer. Ugh. 4- I had a couple gems as a design for my nails, she did not place them properly and 5 of them came off a couple hours that SAME DAY. 5- She didn't even give me a massage once my manicure was complete. I washed my hands, returned to my seat, and she said "All done!" I must say, she did a good job with actually applying the shellac polish and it came out great. Although, I left with a cut on my finger and woke up the next morning with it looking worse- believing now it is an actual infection. read more

I've been to Spring Nails several times over the past 5+ years with the few different owners it's had, but since the new owners took over a few months ago it has gone from a 3 star to 5 star due to quality work, lots of color options, and more! Looks like this place is under new management which is a great idea as I have stopped going because of previous owner. Decided to give this place a try. These girls are so friendly and efficient (they were really busy for a Thursday night). They dont try to sell you other services you do not want like other nail salons i've been to. They are willing to accommodate everyone but it is so much better to make an appointment. I love my pedicure and foot massage ladies! Please keep up the good work read more
