I have been here several times over the course of two years so I would like to start by saying what I liked before what I don't anymore. Like: Johnny is kind and relatable. He's funny and talks and includes everyone in conversation. He happily speaks English to the guests and his staff and on occasion, he speaks his other language with his staff. This ability to speak English naturally creates trust with me. If I don't know what you're saying but I give you my money, you could be saying bad things about me and I would never know which would be malicious and evil. Dislikes: 1 -- The nail sets are kind of nice initially but look warped or chunky as you inspect it later. 2 -- Some other staff including Sylvia speak their main language and because of their body language when you address an issue with them along with the other language they are speaking, it makes me feel uncomfortable and as if I am being insulted. If you rather insult me BUT yet see my money as worth taking, I rather not give you my money or time. Horrible business practice! 3 -- When the nail techs rush, acrylic and or debris will be all over your fingers and skin and you will have to peel and scrub that stuff off. I have paid over $70 and more with tip but have to peel off mess? That's unacceptable. 4 -- The salon unclean, dusty and unsanitary. Clients come sit down talk with or without masks and get up and leave. There's no proper distance between clients nor are there people disinfecting the spaces as clients rotate in and out. Just disgusting! 5 -- The prices for nail designs and services are unclear and purposely not visible on the walls. The price of your individual service is up to them which makes sense to a certain degree but there's no transparency. If pictures and prices were given for guidance, that would've been nice so there's no surprise price at the end. I have a story to go with this price issue-- I made an appointment online with Sylvia for a $55 white and pink new acrylic nails set. I had to wait a bit but then I sat down in her chair, told her I had an appointment with her and said it was the pink and white set. I guessed she saw her appointment book and saw the type of nails I wanted so she gathered her materials and began. Overall, I liked my nails! When the nail appointment is done, the techs usually give clients a ticket with the price but she didn't give me one since I was her last client. So, I went to check out and she asked for the form of payment. I told her debit and gave her my card. She ran it and to my surprise the amount was $70 instead of $55. I asked her why and she said there's a difference of what I have on my hands from the $55 pink and white nail set I made the appointment for. I would have never known there was a difference if she didn't tell me before she began. If I made an appointment online for one price, why didn't she tell me what she decided to put on me instead? I had to further conversation about my appointment, I simply sat down and she got her tools and started. She decided to style my nails the $70 set instead of the $55 set. That was her choice not mine but yet I had to pay for her decision without us discussing the price and style difference. To me, there is no difference. I have had the pink and white set before and it always cost the same until that day. I thought it was predatory, malicious and money hungry of her to do that instead of talk to me ahead of time. I'm the customer who thinks I am getting one service but you decide the service I want will cost more? If that's the case, give me the options to choose between which service and price point I want. Of course she had an attitude and began speaking to other coworkers in her language which I don't appreciate. It's not the first time she's caused an issue instead of helped bring a customer servicing solution to me. And the point is not that I am cheap or refused to pay the difference. I would gladly pay $100+ IF it were my choice of nails, I knew ahead of time what the price was, the nail tech communicated thoroughly and made me feel comfortable and knowledgeable and I was treated like a valued client. I will no longer go there and I am on the hunt for another salon. read more

I used to get my toes done only here for about two years, until one time I ended up with toenail fungus. I had gel on my toes constantly and never took it off myself. Then, I went back to get my color changed and they took the gel off, revealing the fungus. Instead of telling me it was there, the lady quickly did my pedicure and tried to put new gel polish on. Spring Nails - Love it!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

Used to love this place, was a hidden gem. Always had consistent good work on my gel manicures, no matter who did your nails they lasted 2 weeks plus. The last couple of times though the quality has gone down, my gel nails began to peel off after 2 days this visit. Pedicure was OK- but the massage was barely felt and completely useless. I'm going to look for somewhere new. Think it would still be fine if you book with the same person but the good ones are booked up and I come spur of the moment. read more

I went in 6 days ago for a pedicure and gel manicure before vacation. Immediately I was unsatisfied with the paint job on my gel manicure. It had bumps in it and the sides and back were not smooth and looked like they had already been grown out a few days. Now they have already began to chip. I have never had gel polish that chips this quickly in less than a week. Usually they last over 2 weeks at least. Also my pedicure looked dull and chipped after 2 days. Waste of money. I looked at the reviews before coming here and saw it was a mixed bag, but decided to come anyways... that was definitely a mistake. There are definitely one or two very talented nail technicians here but unless you find out who they are and make a schedule with them beforehand you will have a 1 star experience. I got a dip manicure, and asked for an ombré from white to pink but was told they couldn't do that. Instead I just got a plain color. The woman doing my nails (Tina/ Pheung Le) cut up my cuticles and got mad at me for asking her to smooth down the lumpy bits she had left. The end result looks alright (there are still a few lumps and uneven edges though) but it was not a pleasant experience. I have used the same nail tech at another salon for years. She was on vacation, so I looked on Yelp and took the recommendations and went to Spring Nails. I can't begin to say enough good things about them! I got a gel powder dip manicure, and it seems like it will last forever, which is something we all love. They had a HUGE selection of colors, and waited extremely patiently while I looked through all of them. The staff was super all the way around - I have never felt so welcome and attended to at any other salon. I called ahead and they said to come in, that they could take me then with no wait. I went straight there, and was taken in immediately. In the future I will make an appointment since they were extremely busy when I left- I was just lucky to sneak in. The price for the manicure was only $40, even though she added tips to some broken nails to even out the length on all fingers. So very reasonable, especially given the great service I received. More time passed than I had hoped for my second visit, but it was again a great experience. I had limited time but wanted to get pedicure and manicure...when I asked, the next thing I know, I have someone doing my pedicure and a lady beside me doing my manicure at the same time. Talk about feeling pampered! When my toe polished chipped the next day and realized I'd left my polish there, I came by and they were very nice in helping me find my polish and fixing my polish at no cost. I am new to the area, I just recently moved. I was looking for locations in the area with good reviews and this by far was the best one that was the closest to my home. I went on their website and scheduled an appointment for both my boyfriend and myself. We both got a deluxe pedi and I added a dipping powder with soak off. My hands came out great and I was really content with everything. As soon as I was transferred to my pedicure it all begin to go sideways. First off, she did not use gloves which I really thought was weird because who wants to touch anyone's feet with their bare hands, but I shrugged it off. In almost ten minutes of the pedicure she already started drying my feet which was weird because she did not cut my cuticles nor did she remove my callous. My boyfriends technician was still doing his feet and while she was removing his callous and cuticles I asked her if I could get that done because my technician who was older did not seem to understand anything I was asking. My technician told the technician that she did which I was baffled by, why would I lie? She began to do so it but was only rubbing the tool on my skin and wasn't even actually removing it. I never write reviews or leave anything on pages I was really disappointed that I had to continuously ask for things. She did not ask what type of pedicure I had which I also had to tell her with the help of the other technician. She put some weird clay thing on me which I did not realize was extra she never said anything about until I got the bill which was $60. I love getting my feet done I have been getting mine done since I was 15 so I know the basics of a pedicure and this experience was the worst I ever had. I spoke with the people up at the front and I began to feel bad just saying anything but I honestly just feel upset that the technician could think to get away with not giving me any of the regular services of a pedicure and still charging a ridiculous amount for such an awful job. I think that the atmosphere is great but I suggest not going to that older lady who helped me I think her name is Sara I'm not entirely sure but she was awful and I think that once I said something they should have at least charged me for a regular pedicure. Needless to say I probably will not go back be mindful of when they do your nails and make sure to speak up if you think they're skipping steps, I cannot stand when technicians think we won't know. read more

Sylvia and Johnny are the best! I found this salon when I lived in Franklin and then moved to Mt. Juliet. I tried other nail salons but nothing comes close to these folks. They are quick but efficient, professional but personable and very economically priced! If you need a good nail salon I can promise you this, don't waste time shopping around go to the people who are the best in town! I recently lost my grandmother and went to the salon not knowing if I had to go out of town, there was a family of about 12 women and children who loved on me in a Christian way that was unbelievable! So not only did I get my nails done I met 12 new amazing friends.....speaks volumes as to their clientele. I now live in Lebanon and am willing to drive 40 miles that's how good they are. Worst pedicure I've ever had, went with my boyfriend, his was great and mine was awful, his treatment lasted a lot longer too, even though we both chose the exact same pedicure package. My polish was messed up before we made it to the parking lot but the experience was so bad I didn't want to walk back in there to fix it. I was in town for the weekend and needed things to do while my boyfriend was at a conference. I found spring nails and thought I would try the new dip gel. I'd never heard of it but read up on it and heard it was good for natural nails, better than shellac and not damaging. I made an appt online with Lily. When I arrived I could tell that the regulars got preferential treatment and I was put with some other lady to do my dip gel. Why make an appt with someone if that isn't who you get? I'm sure that wouldn't happen to regulars. Videos I had watched showed dip gel being applied to natural nail with no filing or sanding, but the nail tech used a drill to sand my real nail?!? No explanation or asking me if it was ok to do so, after she knew I'd never done this before. I didn't find out until I went to pay that I could have refused the drill (there was a sign on the front desk... doesn't make sense!). After the staff found out that I was from out of town the level of service went severely down hill. I had a male (not johnny but not sure of his name) do my pedicure (even though I had scheduled with Lily) he was HORRIBLE at painting. Everything else was fine like the massage, trimming, filing nails but OMG the paint job was so bad. I should have known as soon as he started with the clear base because it was all over my toe, not just on the nail. Then the color - he kept blowing on my toes to dry them. Never in my life have I had a nail tech blow on my nails- toes or fingers!! He kept sloshing on color, painting sideways, to try and fix his mistakes that it came out so gloopy. Then the top coat was just as bad as the base, just literally all over my toe again not just the nail. It was so frustrating and expensive for what you quality you get. I would go back for dip gel, but would definitely request not to have the sanding of my real nail and would NEVER get a pedicure here again. I can tell you the good nail techs, johnny, lily, sylvia would never be bothered with pedicures. They definitely have lower quality employees doing the pedicures. I moved to Nashville/Brentwood earlier this year and have been looking for a good nail salon for a LONG time. I have tried FIVE others, and this one by far is the best I've tried.
