Scheduling was simple, and when their technicians came out to install a new control box on my well. They knew the equipment inside and out and took the time to give me their opinion on what I should do and they did not try to over charge me with equipment I dont need. I also had a completely separate issue come up later on, and this is where they really earned my loyalty. Alyssa had one of their technicians, Nacho, call me directly, and this guy is outstanding. He didn't rush me, didn't make me feel like I was bothering him, and walked me through the whole thing step-by-step over the phone. The patience, the know-how, and the willingness to help without immediately sending a truck out... that's rare these days. Nacho deserves real credit. And in the background you're only thinking about 2 things, how soon will I get water and what is the end bill going to be. We contacted these guys on Tuesday because we had no water. Within hours we found out that it was a simple reset. We called them back and told them we're good and they didn't have to send anyone out. They were very nice about it and said no problem just keep us in mind. In the evening the water stopped again so we left them a message to put us on their list again for the next day. They contacted us Wednesday AM promptly and said they would be here in 10 minutes. We live 5 miles from them. They came here assessed the situation and our day began. Initially, it was a electrical wire that had burnt, and fortunately did not catch fire to our well bldg. Methodically continued and learned that the water pressure was very slow and could be a pipe. Of course 30 pipes down, the last pipe had a hole in it. This was not immediately discovered as the guys wanted to have the pump checked out at the manufacturer in Austin. They returned the next day and replaced pipe and put everything back together. Water was flowing immediately. The guys were very professional - no cursing, smoking - and kept us abreast of everything that was going on. An educational experience for those that want to learn. They pulled our pump higher and ingeniously salvaged lots of the excess wire in the event in the future we have to go further down. The staff on the phone was wonderful, so compassionate about what they do. Wanting to make sure everything is right and we have no complaints. We don't have any complaints and we will definitely keep Glass on our main contacts in the future in the event we need well service again. Also very insightful on the existing reviews that they do more than just fix wells. Great job, Glass Team!!! AND particularly ANTHONY, he was so zealous at what he did. The 2nd day he came in not feeling up to par (food poisoning), but he kept to it. Finally, pricing was very reasonable for what they did. In the past we used someone else and due to lack of safety, dropped our pump to the ground and resulted in a new well that they wanted to bill us some $20K. Never to call on them again. The owner, Hunter was at my house in about an hour, identified the problem quickly, and got water restored within two hours. He came back on Monday when he said he would to service a couple of nonemergency issues. Hunter stayed in communication via phone and text and is very knowledgeable having been in the water well service industry for many years. I called to ask why I got a bill for an additional $1,142.79 instead of $3600. I got one excuse after another. They didn't know... the man that did the work didn't work there anymore... that person isn't in the office..... I had paid the original amount and since I never got an explanation for additional charges of $1,142.79, I didn't pay those. Three years later Kutscher Drilling filed a lien with Hays County for $4800 (notice NO credit for the $3600 I already paid!) I didn't know about this lien until I applied for a loan. My credit score is 850 because I pay my bills. I explained the situation to the bank and they said I can't proceed until I paid the lien. I paid Kutscher Drilling the $1142.79 PLUS $863.82 in fee from them AND the filing fee. A MONTH HAS GONE BY AND KUTSCHER REFUSES TO RELEASE THE LIEN. Still excuses... one after another: "no one is in the office, the office is closed, Christy isn't in today, we will do it next week...." THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL. A three-year extended protection plan can also be purchased for $65. Kutscher charged me $1,435 plus $400 labor to install the same pump with the manufacture's 5-year warranty. I know I should have asked for an estimate before I approved the work but knowing the on-line cost of the pump, I did not think Kutscher would triple the cost. By the time their technician had diagnosed the problem, I already owed them $160 labor anyway. The technician was very good and friendly. Work was done in a professional manner.

Our HOA's experience with Bee Cave Drilling in Dripping Springs, TX has been frustrating from day…read moreone. They installed a water well for our community, but the quality of their work and their lack of accountability raised serious concerns. To start, the electrical system was improperly wired, creating multiple safety hazards -- including three of their own workers being shocked. I was surprised to find out that they do not use licensed electricians during installs. I had to hire a licensed electrician to fix their mistakes, but Bee Cave Drilling refused to reimburse us for the cost. They also failed to keep their promised schedule. They told us the job would be completed by Friday, only to inform us late that evening that they wouldn't return until Monday. The well still wasn't operational, and they had not advised us to pre-order water. Our neighborhood had already been without water for weeks and we had to band together to finish the job just to get access to water. Following a billing dispute related to these issues, Bee Cave Drilling informed us they would no longer provide service -- effectively walking away from their responsibility. Fast forward five years, the pump they installed has now failed. According to the new drilling company making the repairs, this failure was likely caused by poor installation from the start. The wiring was damaged -- possibly from being dragged along the steel casing -- and the jacket had been stripped with multiple splices near the pump. At that depth, the extreme pressure can cause shorts and system failure. They also failed to install a check valve to manage back pressure and didn't properly set the pump saver, which allowed the well to run dry. The current contractors believe any or all of these mistakes may have contributed to the pump's failure. We are now facing nearly $30,000 in repair and replacement costs due to Bee Cave Drilling's substandard work and inexperience. I cannot recommend Bee Cave Drilling in good conscience. Their poor workmanship, lack of professionalism, and refusal to stand behind their work have caused serious, long-term problems. I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.
