Our landscape architecture and construction studio, Twistleaf, contacted Texan Water in spring 2023 to assess the condition of an existing well at a client's property in Fredericksburg, in preparation for a large-scale landscape renovation project. Their technician was the consummate professional. Extremely responsive and knowledgeable, he took the time to answer all of our questions in person, then always followed-up with reporting and work orders as promised. After the initial assessment and with the passage of time, it was clear that additional work needed to be done on the well, which Texan Water executed in a timely and reliable manner, in concert with other trades working on site. We were impressed with the professionalism of their entire staff, as well as how quickly they were able to fit us into their schedule each time we needed them. I don't leave many reviews but when I do I try to be fair and honest. We previously used Texan Water to replace a faulty well motor. The first experience was great--albeit $3500. Unfortunately our motor went out again (only 2 years later). We called Texan Water and spoke to a nice lady--4:28 pm on a Friday. She stated someone would be in contact soon to make a game plan--we realize it's the weekend. I called their office three more times...once more Friday around 5:00 and again Saturday morning 9:00 and 9:30--nothing. Hard to claim that you provide 24 hour service when you don't even call me back until Monday at 8:30? By this time, AART's Water Well and Service not only had come out on Saturday to troubleshoot, but was here by 7:30 Monday to repair. Guess who I intend to call next time. After a long hot week of work I came home and all I wanted to do was shower and get this mountain of laundry done. To my horror Saturday night as my husband brushed his teeth before bed, he said our water shut off. I went and checked our well for problems and seen none. Sunday morning came and I was in a panic because I work Monday. What the heck was I gonna do I called numerous company's and they took my concern as a joke. But I called Texan water and the guy was not only nice and listen to me babble on, but he helped me over the phone. As for some reason our water came back on. 30 mins later however it once again stopped working, and he dropped everything and came out. Texan Water replaced my well pump last year and I couldn't have been more pleased with their professionalism, timeliness and work ethic. Brice recommended that my 30 year old PVC and wiring be replaced at the time of the service and I never felt pressured to commit to the extra expense. They explained everything in detail and I made the right decision to replace all of the well components at the time the well pump was replaced. Just last week I noticed a leak at the PVC outlet fitting at the pipe that leaves the well and turns down into to the ground. I called Texan Water and they came right out and fixed it for me. We have a 16 bed Assisted Living and 12 bed Memory Care Center situated in a country setting near Leander, TX. We rely on our well for water and Texan Water is our company for routine maintenance. However, this past Sunday evening at about 10 pm, the well stopped operating. I felt that the chances for getting help at that time of night were close to zero. I placed a call to Texan Water and the owner responded to me within about 10 minutes. I have done business with you guys before for things like a new well for my mother-in-law to a tank replacement at my residence. After 26 years my well pump finally gave up and had to be replaced. I called Texan Water to help me out. They helped with suggestions for water trucks to bring water until they could come out to replace my pump. Our well water system was established in 1978 and it was high time for a replacement. It actually stopped working on me. Called this Texan Water Company and I had immediate response and the guy started to work right away. He pulled everything and as you can imagine all components needed replacement. Texan water is OUTSTANDING. I called with a problem with the pump for my water cistern and Brice called me on the phone and talked me through some things I could try to save me from having them come out. WHO DOES THAT? I have used Texan Water for a new well and Install and they did an awesome job. I even got the Insulated well house. They are great. I used them for a backup well we have for service to fix a leak and Derek did a great job even in the wet conditions and the mosquitoes were horrible.
