You wouldn't expect a small kitchen inside a Valero to have good food but everything we've tried here has been fantastic! The hamburgers here are the best I've had in and around San Antonio. The cheese burger combo with fries and a drink will set you back around $8.00 which is a steal considering how good the food is. read more

Since we moved to Spring branch we've been to this little café three times. I always forget to take pics and write a review because as soon as I get the food home, we devour it immediately. Today I ordered a regular cheeseburger all the way, a grilled cheese just to try it out, my husband got a double patty regular hamburger, all the way and I got a side salad. Both of our burgers came as combos with french fries and a drink. For everything I ordered it was only $40 and that included tax. I think that's a considerable amount of food for the price. There are some pretty good burgers in this area but let me tell you what I love about these burgers, the buns that they use are toasted so beautifully with butter on the griddle so even if you get takeout, the bread doesn't get soggy. The bun also has a slightly sweet taste which complements the burger and side note, I don't like Hawaiian sweet buns. They cook your food to order so everything is very fresh and they keep their produce to temperature so nothing is soggy, brown or yucky. The french fries are really good. They taste salted but you can't feel the salt on the french fries. The grilled cheese was still crispy by the time I made my way to it and they use craft singles but, I love a kraft singles grilled cheese. They also gave me a side of fries with that which I didn't order but, thank you! The side salad was a little bit small but the salad dressing seemed homemade and was pretty good. I would say the cost of the salad was the only thing that wasn't worth the price. We've had pizza from here before and it was really good. If you're in the area, I highly recommend but if you're going for dinner, don't expect a late dinner. I think they close by 7 pretty much every night. read more

Located in the backside of a convenience store, I went here today since it seemed to be one of the only appealing places to grab a bite in the area and I sure was satisfied with the results! I ordered the cheeseburger combo which came with fries and wish I had taken a picture of it for this review before I ate it all but it was so good that I just completely forgot. Doesn't care about community. People were tearing up their vehicles in a sinkhole on a daily base and he wouldn't even mark it.loss of profit he says take me to court . when you ask for contact information they rudely ask you to leave the property. I did and I won't support this business anymore. Had to buy a new radiator for car could not drive it for weeks . Even trucks got damaged there. I was pleasantly surprised by the food at this place. It was somewhere between a diner and food you might make at home. The burgers were good although the patty was thin, and the fries were crispy. I'm going to throw them a fourth star for having blue bell ice cream and 500 drink options, since it's basically a convenience store with an attached cafe. Really good food and amazing French fries. One daughter had a salad with chicken. There was not a crumb left. I had the cowboy cheeseburger and it was on point. Husband had the double bacon cheeseburger and said it was pretty good. We loved toasted buns the burgers were served on. We had excellent service. Very cute cafe to sit and eat in. Me and my husband stopped by for getting gas. Explored those shops by the gas station. This Cafe is inside of Spring Branch Store. We had Bacon Cheese Burger and Grilled Chicken Salad. Wow! It was like that we found good place to eat at middle of nowhere. Homemade Pizza is worth the drive! I thought maybe it was a fluke, but we have been back several times ... always stop when we are coming back from Spring Branch area shopping, but sometimes we even have to make a special trip! :) Homemade crust and sauce and high quality toppings. I see a lot or raves on here about the burgers, but the first time we were here my wife tried one and said it was super salty ... to the point of not really being edible. I am guessing that it was double-salted by mistake because they were busy. I hope to try a burger someday to see for sure, but the pizza is so good I may not ever do it.
