Recently had a burst water pipe on a weekend. Tim came over on a Sunday and knew just what to do! Removed the pad, put a fan on the wet carpet....bottom line, he saved the carpet, and was able to confine the damage to one room (whole house is wall-to-wall carpet). Our carpets were way overdue for a cleaning. Called Spotless Carpet Cleaning and they were available within two weeks for the time we had requested (evening appointment after work). I was told that on the day of, Tim would check out the space and quote us for the work. If we agreed to the price, carpets would be cleaned then. Here's the scenario: white carpets up the stairs and in every room, 1 black lab, 2 kids, and a husband who stomps around in boots. It's not pretty. Then you add in that one time I tripped going up the stairs with my (first) glass of red wine. Thank you Rich for saving my home just in time for Thanksgiving! Not sure if these guys source out to someone, but my carpet was left dirty. First, I was quoted $59 per room (I had 2), plus the cost of an area rug. Total amount was $250. This guy left no receipt of services and when carpet finally dried, it was still dirty. I was very disappointed in the work to say the least after being referred to them. read more

Based on previous reviews, I scheduled with Spotless for a cleaning. Indeed, the service was wonderful. We rent,and the carpets are far from new. Also, we have a golden retriever that happily adds to the dirt and smell. The technician quoted me a price, and then I requested additional odor treatment. He told me this was included in the price. Perfect opportunity for them to pad the bill, which they didn't do. The service was professional and efficient. The carpet looks (and smells!) great. Very fair price for the service rendered. I needed my barstools of seven years to be cleaned. Tim arrived on time and was very honest regarding the success of cleaning these soiled stools based on the type of fabric and staining. Tim cleaned one and I wasn't sure to continue with the rest. Tim stated, "let this dry and if you like it, I'll come back". No charge for today. I appreciate his honesty and no pressure tactics. Sorry it has taken us over 3 weeks to write this review. I was impressed that Rich showed up for our appointment early. Also, there was a guarantee on all of the work that was performed in the home. He promised us that if we weren't 100% satisfied, he would make a return trip to our home at "no additional charge" and correct the problems that we felt were unacceptable. My wife & I were pleasantly surprised at his guarantee. Spotless came to us as a referral from a friend of mine and she told us "you won't be disappointed" We were pleasantly surprised what a great referral she gave to us. We were fortunate enough to have the owner of the company come out to our home and give us the estimate. After we agreed on the price and the work that would be performed, we set up an appointment with the office. On the day of our appointment-Rich was early again!!!.The carpets were filthy and I was very skeptical of the end result. (thanks to all of the kids that parade through the house, along with the dogs, cats and the many guests that we have over at our home) We had some pieces of furniture that needed to be moved. Rich and I were able to tackle this move together. I was impressed with the details of the cleaning process every step of the way. Rich used a product called Esteam and it removed the really bad stains that have been left in the carpets since the last company came to our home.(1.5 years ago) Two+ hours later; the carpets looked Great, smelled Great and the both of us were very Happy with the work that had been done by Spotless. Rich gave us a bottle of the Esteam product to use on the spots that would occur on the carpets in the future. I was pleasantly surprised with this generous gift and I thanked him repeatedly. This company truly cares about "Customer Service". It is such a great feeling to know that there are still people out there that stand behind their work and want you (the customer) to be 100% Happy. Wow, Great work, honest, fast, friendly, professional... I was able to have a same day appointment. Tim did a fantastic job cleaning my carpet. And the best part for me is he's honest. He wrote out my receipt. I didn't look at it and paid what I understood the price was. Then 20 minuets after he leaves I got a call explaining I over paid him. We called Spotless to clean our sectional and area rug. We have three dogs who spend a lot of time on both. Tim showed up right on time, actually a few minutes early, and did a great job. Both look brand new! I also couldn't believe how little water was on my hardwood, bamboo, floor when he was done. There was none! 3 weeks ago I was the lucky recipient of a complimentary carpet cleaning. Not only was Tim on time (early actually) and super cool, but he's professional, fast and even cleaned an area rug that was laying by the front door. You know when you see those before and after pics of filthy carpets and think...wow, that looks awesome!...only to wake up a couple of days later and those nasty stains are back with a vengeance? I waited a few weeks before I wrote this review and still, no stains! I also have a dog who has terrible allergies and was extremely nervous that whatever detergent they use would flare them up. I swear,,,I think his allergies have actually gotten better since "Spotless" was here. Tim is definitely my go to carpet cleaning guy from now on. I had my 50 year l had couch cleaned and a chair almost as old and the service was great. The couch smelled fresh and the shape returned to the cushions that had been sat on over the years. Most comfortable couch ever! I didn't give 5 stars because the website stated any service over $100 a $25 discount and the same day later that evening on Benicia Happenings there was a advertisement saying the same thing. Over all very happy I don't need to purchase new furniture that is not going to be made as well as my old stuff. read more
