Junk removal took care of that job & removed the rat poop. Then I called A2Z to clean everything assuming that's all I'd have to do. Last night I saw a giant rat run across my garage so now I've paid $3500 to hazmat clean the 1/2 my garage but still have a rat infestation. I'm now working with a rat removal service but before A2Z allowed me to hire them & get in contract they should have advised me to be sure to complete the proper step beforehand of ensuring the rat infestation was resolved. Now i'm out $3500 for an unnecessary garage cleaning and still have a rat infestation. As a new homeowner (or any homeowner) I'd assume a good business would make sure I've done the pre work (in this case rat infestation elimination) before accepting the job. That's in my view a shitty thing to have done to me as the client. Really disappointed because they seemed professional throughout the process. So for this reason of not holistically proactively making sure the proper prep was done I cannot rate this business any higher than a 2 star. I'm not angry I am however very disappointed and feel that I've been tricked. I cannot recommend this business.

When the utilies were turned on water had been running throughout the property for three entire days until our neighbor heard water running And thought to turn the main water off to the house. By the time we arrived to property it was Monday evening. I googled water damage restoration and Mr. Fresh took our call and showed up to the job within two hours did their assessment walk us through the insurance process and got to work. UPDATE 8/14 I…read morereceived the statement of work Wednesday AM (8/12) right before the project manager Gomer shows up. He comes by, expects me to have signed the SOW looks at the jobsite and doesn't say much. I told him I am going to need to wait until I can check on my computer and since PGE is cutting power I will have it tomorrow. I let him know I am not happy with how he is conducting business and I get the "I hear you" and "Trust me". I review the SOW and ask a number of questions. Some are basic, like when will the project start, when will the project complete, who is responsible for ordering and buying appliances, who is responsible for any damage to the items that have been left outside for months. A couple hours later Gomer calls me. I asked him if he reviewed by questions and he says no. He is busy driving around. I tell him to talk to his people and then we can talk. He takes offense to that and starts arguing with me I am being unreasonable and he calls all his customers. I said I didn't have time to shoot the shit and he needs to be prepared and review the questions. He says he is not calling to shoot the shit but he is also not calling to discuss the SOW since he hasn't reviewed it. Given on August 5th I made it clear I wanted all correspondence written since I didn't want a my word against his. He gets very argumentative and the call deteriorates into both of us yelling at each other. I made it clear to the office coordinator I did not walk to work with Gomer and whether they had anyone else. So right now the project is over a week late starting and waiting to hear their solution. These guys have all my furniture and belongings and have my life on hold but it obviously is of no concern. To be continued I figure.

He was generous enough to start setting up fans before confirming to work with them and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole water mitigation process. Always showed up on time and was responsive to any questions I had. Him and his crew were awesome during the demo portion. Put floor and wall protection down and cleaned up after the job was done. I've never had to use a Water Restoration service before so I browsed trusty Yelp and reached out to Fire & Water Damage. Glad fellow Yelp friend Karen W gave a glowing review! They seem to answer calls 24/7 and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Mike was main point of contact and gave us an estimate and scope of work. Basically, they had to tear out the drywall and insulation from the wet area, dry and dehumidify the area for days, and then put on moon suits and remove any mold. We were able to have 2 techs come on a Friday and then let the dehumidifier run over the weekend. We also had to tear out our upper cabinet since the top was damaged by water. On Monday, they came back to remove any leftover mode and patch things up. The total price came in well below the estimate, which is a huge plus. Very happy with the service and efficiency. If you ever suspect you have water damage from leaks, call these guys and get the problem resolved to ensure mold doesn't form or worst, spread. Note that their services are purely restorative - they'll dry out the water-damaged area and get rid of all the mold. You'll need to hire a plumber first to stop the leaks and then afterwards, a drywall contractor to patch up the holes with insulation and new drywall followed by texturing and painting.

I will not be using this service again, very unhappy with results after spending $550! I now have to get them cleaned again and find a different service.

Part one of a two part foundation project Recently we had…read moreour house foundation repaired by Groundworks out of Fairfield. One bedroom had sunk by almost 5 inches as that part of the house had been built on fill. In order to restore the house to it's proper level numerous foundation jacks and floor leveling screw jacks were required. In addition some landscaping bushes and pvc sprinkler pipes had to temporarily removed. Groundworks had informed me prior to starting work what would be required to successfully complete this project and had my full approval. The house is now level, the doors no longer swing on their own and the interior cracks between the walls and ceiling joints no longer exist. Prior to the crew leaving the yard was cleaned up and the pvc pipes replaced. Best of all Groundworks will come back annually to the next 5 years and make any necessary adjustments. The Groundworks crew that made this happen was Andrew, the site supervisor, Charlie and Allen. Their performance and daily communication was superior on all levels. This is part 2. The Groundworks Poly crew of Anthony & Brian were very fast and efficient in completing their part of the foundation repair contract which was to level our family room slab floor. Fast, yes, but Anthony did take the time to not only explain what they were going to do but also walked me through the process as they were working. I have no problem in recommending them & Groundworks to other home owners who need to have their foundation repaired.

I spent approximately $30,000 with Groundworks, and I deeply regret hiring them…read more I called Groundworks for one reason: contractors working on my floors noticed a slope and told me the beams underneath my house needed to be stabilized before they could continue. Groundworks assessed my crawl space and recommended a system they represented would address the problem. I relied on their expertise. That is the ONLY reason I agreed to spend approximately $30,000. When the project was about 80% complete, Groundworks suddenly told me I needed to call a carpenter. They did not explain that there was significant dry rot underneath my home or that the condition of the wood needed to be addressed before the work they were performing. I learned that later, after hiring an independent home inspector. By then, Groundworks had already been working throughout the same crawl space installing stabilization and encapsulation. My inspector identified significant dry rot and explained that it needed to be addressed first. Had I known that before Groundworks performed approximately $30,000 worth of work, I would NEVER have moved forward with their recommended system before addressing the underlying damage. And here is the worst part: THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED. The slope remains and appears to have increased since their work was completed. I am now facing additional repairs and expenses, and some of Groundworks' work may have to be undone or worked around to properly repair the underlying damage. The encapsulation has also been problematic. It was supposed to help keep my crawl space dry, but it was not properly secured, leaving openings that allowed rodents into my crawl space. I also later learned that the dehumidification equipment installed did not cover the entire crawl space as I understood it was supposed to. Then there is the customer service. Once they had my money, getting meaningful help became incredibly difficult. I have contacted corporate and have gone more than a month without a meaningful response. If Chris is assigned to your project, based on my experience, I would be extremely cautious. My advice before hiring Groundworks: GET AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION FIRST. Do not rely solely on the assessment of the company selling you the system. Get everything in writing and ask specifically whether anything underneath your home needs to be repaired before their system is installed. I trusted Groundworks to identify the problem and recommend a solution. Approximately $30,000 later, my original problem remains, the slope appears worse, I discovered significant dry rot that should have been addressed first, I am facing additional repairs, the encapsulation allowed rodent access, and corporate has been unresponsive. I would NEVER recommend Groundworks based on my experience. $30,000 spent. Original problem unresolved. More repairs ahead. That speaks for itself.

I came in with two suits I've had for years that needed to be dry cleaned, which basically means they've never been cleaned :P One of those suits needed to have buttons re-sewn and the pant legs hemmed. They did a good job but we're a little expensive, they did have a Yelp deal which helped a little. I later came back with the leather jacket that had zippers on the sleeves, the sleeves were too long because for some reason I was born to wear a large while having medium arms. I called every tailor I could and they all refused, so I came back here and they were able to take care of it pronto, and by pronto I mean they forgot to do it, ended up taking 2 weeks but I wasn't in a hurry considering Solano county fall is 70 degrees. The leather jacket came out fantastic, it looks as if it came out of the factory perfectly tailored to my body. One thing that did bother me, I don't appreciate paying for the item being cleaned or tailored upfront. They already have my item which means if it gets lost or damaged, I'm out on the item and lost some cash! So far they've been super friendly and I think these guys are going to be my one-stop-shop whenever I do decide to dry clean nice suits again. ;)

I highly recommend Mr. Fresh Carpet Care to anyone in need of carpet cleaning services! I have used other carpet cleaners in the Fairfield area, and Mr. Fresh Carpet Care is, by far, the superior carpet cleaning service! Cha'Ron and his staff offer excellent customer service, they were extremely thorough in their cleaning, they took the time to describe the cleaning process to me, and they were eager to tackle a difficult clean that included numerous deep pet stains. I chose to use Mr. Fresh Carpet Care based on their amazing Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed! I contacted Cha'Ron around noon, and he was able to come by that night to offer a free estimate. He arrived on time and gave me a reasonable estimate for my carpet cleaning needs. Cha'Ron was able to then come back on a day of my choosing to put down a pre-treatment on my carpets. Again, he was on time and very thorough in his pre-treatment process. Cha'Ron and a staff member came back the next morning and worked diligently for four hours providing a deep clean in two of our rooms and also cleaning our downstairs common areas. My mom and dad had some rugs they had given up on. After failing to clean the stains off with a rental steam cleaning machine, they had rolled up the rugs and kept them in the back of their house. Mr. Fresh stopped by with his Spring Special and we gave him a try. We didn't have cash on hand, but he took our check and offered to take credit card payment too. That was convenient. Not only did he restore to life the once stained and dirty rugs, but he also cleaned their dining room chairs and removed the stains the hands of the grandkids have left behind. The service was great and the cost was even better since my parents live on a budget. We are planning to have Mr. Fresh back soon to clean our couches and maybe the kitchen tile. I was recently looking for someone to clean my carpets after I moved out of my old place and could've went with the cheapest, but then had to take the chance of less quality service. After reading many reviews I was impressed by Mr Fresh Carpet Care's reviews. Cha'Ron came out to give me a quote, he was very professional and friendly. I decided to book an appt. with him and he gave me a professional reminder of my appt. My carpets looked newer than when I had moved in and smelled good. I was VERY pleased with his work and glad I had him do them. He was affordable, punctual and professional. I will definitely be using him again to do the carpets at my new place and my car. Earlier this week we completed, at my daughter's house, a mold remediation and restoration project preformed by Mr. Fresh Carpet Care. Cha'Ron Russell managed this project in an absolutely professional way from start to finish. On contracting with Mr. Fresh, Cha'ron advised us that the remediation would be done in absolute compliance with legal and industry standards and practices; and, that they would not be finished until my daughter was completely satisfied. And, true to his word that's exactly what we got from Mr. Fresh Carper Care under the supervision of Cha'Ron. I have now used mr fresh three times... the first was on a very old couch and he made it look brand new, the second was a move out clean on our carpet and they turned out amazing, the third time I had him come clean only my kitchen grout and tile in our new home. There was no surprise it turned out sparkling clean and fresh. Since moving into a new home it's just what I needed to make it feel brand new! I was in a bit of a bind when moving into my new house and needed the carpets cleaned ASAP. I called Mr Fresh Carpet Care early in the day and Cha'Ron was able to make it to my house later that afternoon. The carpets were in pretty bad shape and he made them fresh again. I was so impressed with the job he did I called him back a few weeks later to clean the carpets of the rental I was moving out of. This has got to be the best carpet cleaning service. I honestly thought the carpet in my house was tan/brown until Mr. Fresh himself came through ! As it turns out, they're more of a cream color. Mr.Fresh Carpet definitely has saved me a lot of much needed spare change. As a single mother of two and owner of a small pet my two bedroom apartment had plenty of stains & stenches. Mr Fresh is one of the very few Carpet Care Companies that uses the Multi-Rotary Spray Unit. In the past others have used the basic wand cleaning method on my carpets.. Mr. Fresh new Multi-Rotary he used works much - much better then the wands. Mr Fresh is not a the type who tries to get my 2,200 sqft. home done in 30 minutes or less. We just moved into new offices and the previous tenants brought their dogs to work everyday. I love dogs but I'm allergic so I had horrible reactions, just walking through office. We`ve used a different company for a couple of mouths. Went out of business or their phone got disconnected. We found Mr. Fresh Carpet Care on Google and had them come out. They got our carpets cleaner than they have ever come before. They had really quality equipment. Did a fantastic job cleaning our carpets for us when we were moving out of our house. We've used them three times to include upholstery cleaning. Great job every single time. Our carpets were never really dirty per say, so I can't speak for how good their stain removal is, however, they are extremely effective at removing pet odors. read more
