BHS was referred to me by a business associate and I couldn't be happier that I tried him. The owner, Bob Switzer arrived on time, was very courteous and professional. His pre-treatment was thorough, going over the high-traffic areas and spots in the carpet with a fine tooth comb. The cleaning process cleaned the carpet wonderfully and left no soap residue and much less moisture (which has happened often with others before) as he took his time with complete extraction. He helped place furniture back and placed styro blocks and small plastic sheets under furniture feet to prevent rusting or stains. He applied a carpet protector solution over the entire house. The carpet dried wonderfully, feels so good walking on it with bare feet and the spots are gone! We couldn't be happier and the price was extraordinarily reasonable! My dog had an unfortunate accident of getting sick and going #2, soft serve style, on my carpet in the upstairs hallway. I literally wanted to cry because it was so horrific. It was in like six different places and I discovered it at 7:00am. I tried, unsuccessfully, for an hour and a half to get the crap out of the carpet and no matter how many times I went over it with carpet cleaner, the vacuum (repeat), I could still see the dark spots on the carpet. So I checked on Yelp for carpet cleaners and saw that BHS had good reviews. I called at 8:30 and the owner, Bob, answered and said he could be here at 11:00. He was very friendly and professional and came right in and started on the carpet. I figured I'd have him do all three rooms upstairs while he was there, especially since it was only $29/room. He actually does the hallway for free and he said he'd do the stairs for free too! How about that! In an hour and a half he was done and the carpet looked brand new! There was no hint of stains anywhere and it was fluffy and clean. I would defintely recommend BHS for carpet cleaning. It's efficient, reasonably priced, and they do a good job. read more

With January 2015 starting out so warm and dry, I decided to stop procrastinating the cleaning of our carpet. I wanted to hire someone from the Pacheco/Martinez areas so I yelped around then called BHS and got a quote for living room, stairs, and upstairs master suite. We had a lot of stains in our living room, mainly from having a 3 year old and 1 year old who spend a lot of time there. I wasn't expecting miracles: I just wanted a carpet that didn't gross me out. Bill the owner did a great job. I attached a before and after pic, but I don't think it does justice to the improvement in my living room. Bill showed up on time, was responsive to phone calls, and did a great job for a low price. Overall I'm very pleased with the service and will use BHS again. I think it helped that we took time to move all the furniture out of the living room, but we'll probably will only do this every other time we get the carpets cleaned since it was a hassle. Also, I'm glad I scheduled a morning cleaning because it took all day to dry the carpets, and some of the areas that had stains stayed damp until the next day. But that's probably normal a carpet cleaning in January when temps are in the low 70's. read more

We had a gift certificate for a whole house cleaning from BHS. We had some very challenging red wine and pet stains as well as candle wax in the carpet. They were able to remove all of these and make the carpet look very fresh. They also cleaned two area rugs, one of which had red plum juice stains thanks to our dogs bringing them and eating them on the rug.
