The restaurant had pretty ceilings with the interior design being modern and a wall with many Buddha statues and alcohol bottles. The seatings were booth style and comfortable. We went for a weekday lunch so it was not super busy. Overall, the food was great, especially the mango salad, spicy eggplant, beef skewers, and sushi rolls. They lost our order once and we had to ask about it. The service was quick and they came to refill our drinks without asking. I left with a satisfied tummy. Friendly staff, food ok, logistics makes no sense. Staff was overall friendly and attentive, so yes for their awesomeness. Food, they didn't seem to have that much variety. Like some of them were repetitive salmon, just in different forms. For example, salmon "poke bowl" is the same salmon on toppings for volcano and another sushi that I can't remember. Also, the "poke bowl" was very misleading as poke bowls are not just salmon/fish and rice with a seaweed. I enjoy the variety of Thai dishes included, but it still felt quite limited in comparison to other AYCE places. Logistics, this makes no sense. Of all the AYCE sushi I've been going to for over a decade, I don't recall a place where the server have to confirm an order. It seems like it's just an additional unnecessary step for the server and additional waiting time of us. It wasn't that bad of a wait, but the waiter had to keep stopping on their tracks in between other tracks, just to plug in their number. I feel like it's such a waste of their time. Also, when we got seated, it was interesting that they seated us beside another table, when there where plenty of other tables since we came in at 2pm. Was it necessary to crowd us in one space? Compared to August 8 who always space out it's patrons, this one likes to group them. And I'm not even talking about putting us in another room. I'm talking about maybe put us where there's a setting in between us and another big group, especially since down the row are 3 empty group setting tables. We were so cramped, we could basically join the other tables' conversation and that weren't even being loud. This one would be a software suggestion, maybe have the option to show which items came already. Because sometimes good comes in slowly, we can't tell which one came already and which ones we're still waiting on, especially since it's our first time and we're sometimes not sure which item is which. Personally, if it's just the taste and overall experience, I wouldn't go back here again. But the ambiance itself, beautiful! I would go back here again and order a la cart and enjoy the super pretty place, but not do the AYCE thing. read more

Great food, excellent service, plenty of parking, clean restrooms, sorry, washrooms (it's a Canadian thing ) and very comfortable booths. Like any all you can eat sushi/dim sum place you need to order items in quantity otherwise they will bring you one item and will have to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for you next serving. There is a 2 hour time limit, but they were pretty cool and didn't chase us out. They have a pretty extensive menu (please see my pics) and use a tablet for your selections. Such a beautiful spot!! the interior and decor are honestly so pretty and make the atmosphere really inviting. It was pretty busy even in the middle of a weekday, which definitely shows how popular this place is. The food overall was good, pretty comparable to other all you can eat spots in the area, but what stood out to me was the huge sushi selection. The sushi was very fresh and they had so much variety. They also use iPads for ordering which makes it super easy and convenient. The staff were helpful and attentive, and although the menu is big, you can only eat so much in one sitting, so I feel like I'd come back again to try different things. We found a very good sushi place in heartland! It was my bday yesterday and I haven't tried this place before and I've been wanting to try for a special occasion! It didn't disappoint and we will definitely be back next time! Service was okay , we are using the tablet to order . We find that the tablet is a little slow for our liking but the taste of the sushi made up for it! I hope the quality would not change through time! The sushi has the right amount of rice and it focused on the inside which gave the bite a delectable taste! The sashimi is soo fresh!!!! The ambiance is so Nice too! It is small but the artificial plants created a very luxurious ambiance kind of what you see on a wedding event! All in all a great experience! I have seen the restaurant for over a year but never been, until a family member suggested it. Decided to give it a go. Went for AYCE lunch and was impressed with the variety offered. Tried numerous dishes that are fit for two people to share. Favourites included the sashimi, rolls and torched sushi & red Thai curry with coconut rice. Everything tastes great and fresh. There were items like the escargot that I wanted to try but had no space left to eat. Will certainly return for more sampling. The space is huge and beautifully decorated. It gives you the feel of being in Thailand, even if only for two hours :) Service was excellent. We had multiple servers bringing and clearing plates and answering questions. Ordering is simple, using an iPad and food is delivered quickly to the table thereafter. Washrooms are very clean. Ensuring cleanliness seems to be a priority. My girlfriend and I came to this fine establishment to enjoy a night out and eat some traditional Japanese dishes . I didn't quite know what to expect since I have never been to a Spoon and Fork location before. I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised, my girlfriend was happy that I was enjoying myself to a bowl of Sashimi that was extremely fresh and flavorful. From the Snapper to the Blue Fin, I just could not stop myself from trying all the freshly sliced fish. I haven't even talked about the environment we spent our time eating in, first of all, this place was really cool. I mean COOL. Statues of Buddha everywhere and a hanging garden affixed to the hanging ceiling deco. And the service! I turned to my girlfriend and asked her if this place was star rated because the servers knew exactly when to bring us what we needed without even having to ask. There was one fault with the service though, sometimes orders seemed to get mixed up or didn't show up at all. That was a bit of a damper, but otherwise everything was prim and proper. Came by with some real old friends and what a pleasant surprise this place was. The atmosphere is modern chic and a great place for a relaxed dinner. Our server Emily was attentive and helpful as we worked our way through the extensive menu. We decided to share 3 dishes the Sweet and Sour Fish, the Basil Thai Fish and the Spicy Flat Noodles with Jumbo Shrimp. The portions were very generous and the flavors were unique and delicious. It's been a long time since I've went to an AYCE sushi restaurant where I would rate it 5 stars! This is my go to AYCE sushi restaurant in Mississauga. When Spoon & Fork initially opened I was nervous to try it out after seeing a lot of low reviews. I decided to give it a try several months ago and was happily surprised. This past weekend was my third time dining at Spoon and Fork. They are sashimi is fresh and the maki rolls are a good size. My daughter and I enjoyed the dim sum, however it does take longer to come out. The service is consistent every time we have visited. The quality of the food has also been consistent and good every time we have visited as well. On their website, they don't list the price for kids under eight years old so I was hesitant on bringing my toddler here because of the price. However, when we went to the restaurant we found out it was only $8 for a toddler so I was also pleasantly surprised about this. I would highly recommend spoon and fork to anyone in the area who is craving AYCE sushi. read more

The food is pretty good. There's an assortment of selection. Unique to other sushi spots they offer escargot (super buttery) and butter chicken. The sushi is yummy. Room is also well decorated and elevates the eating experience. Only complaint would be the service. While some servers r great, others seem bitter or annoyed. For an all you can eat sushi restaurant, this place is amazing. They have a great selection of sushi and cooked food. We like how they also have some unique appetizers like escargots. The portions of the cooked food is small which is great for a buffet place so I can try a number of different items. However if you're looking for an authentic Japanese sushi experience, this is not the place to go. The service is great, they've always been very friendly. The restaurant is very well decorated and cozy which makes a great date night spot. BONUS POINT - this restaurant is baby friendly. Would go back for all you can eat sushi. read more

Two of our dishes.... Both Bangkok Thai with chicken were awful. The oil used was rancid and couldn't eat it as we couldn't get passed the smell. We also ordered coconut shrimp, curriedpumpkin soup and shrimp pad Thai and those dishes were delicious. I called the restaurant and was told the manager would call me right back. For an ayce sushi restaurant this place is 5/5. This place has a great selection of food, the sushi & sashimi are good, and the cooked food is very acceptable. Please don't compare the sushi here to an upscale sushi places or an omakase place - they are at a different level of standard and $$$. We also really like coming here because the place also looks quite fancy, it makes a nice date night spot. We so far have had a very good experience with the servers here. My friend wanted to check out the new location of Spoon and Fork at Heartland Town Centre and me being the glutton I am, agreed to go. The location is nice, spacious and nicely decorated. We were promptly seated and provided with a tablet to order. I hadn't been to a Spoon and Fork in years, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered even more dishes than before. We ordered several items, and enjoyed most of them (the only one we did not like was the lemongrass beef). Service was very quick and efficient. It's probably best to only order a couple at a time, otherwise the table will be overwhelmed, and you will feel the need to eat quickly. Even though it's not a main attraction and more for a palate cleanser, dessert options could be improved. It felt like I was eating chocolate and strawberry Quik syrup on top of the pudding. My friend and I went for the AYCE dinner option. The food was "meh", definitely not the best anyone's ever had and there were a few items we ordered where you could tell the person who made them just have up on life and stopped trying. I assume the need for the wait staff to authorize is to cut down on wasted food, but it did not affect delivery time of food. Hot items were hot and cold were cold. We had our dinner in this restaurant yesterday. Actually, it was our 3rd time taking dinner in this place. The second time we had, they ran out of potk siomai. We have been waiting for our order (siomai) to arrive, only to be told that they ran out of it after, like almost ONE HOUR the waiter by the name of James told us. And the most recent was out 3rd... yesterday, I've been asking for a glass of hot water about six times because I was feeling dehydrated,by the way I would usually drink hot water regardless, but all the lady waiters seemed to ignore me. Not until this guy who served us our dessert came, I told him that I have been waiting for my hot water for like more than 30 minutes. He was the one who came to the rescue. Not a good experience.
