Came here for my parent's birthday to celebrate with them. Unfortunately, no birthday promo but we still had a great time! The food came out at a steady pace and was all delicious with beautiful presentation. The inside was medium level of noise of everyone chattering and enjoying food. Our server was a little slow, but he seemed busy.

Such a beautiful spot!! the interior and decor are honestly so pretty and make the atmosphere really inviting. It was pretty busy even in the middle of a weekday, which definitely shows how popular this place is. The food overall was good, pretty comparable to other all you can eat spots in the area, but what stood out to me was the huge sushi selection. The sushi was very fresh and they had so much variety. They also use iPads for ordering which makes it super easy and convenient. The staff were helpful and attentive, and although the menu is big, you can only eat so much in one sitting, so I feel like I'd come back again to try different things. Overall, a really solid experience and definitely a place I'd recommend checking out.

We found a very good sushi place in heartland! It was my bday yesterday and I haven't tried this place before and I've been wanting to try for a special occasion! It didn't disappoint and we will definitely be back next time! Service was okay , we are using the tablet to order . We find that the tablet is a little slow for our liking but the taste of the sushi made up for it! I hope the quality would not change through time! The sushi has the right amount of rice and it focused on the inside which gave the bite a delectable taste! The sashimi is soo fresh!!!! The ambiance is so Nice too! It is small but the artificial plants created a very luxurious ambiance kind of what you see on a wedding event! All in all a great experience! And foodies can take advantage of the food tax break!!!!

I have seen the restaurant for over a year but never been, until a family member suggested it. Decided to give it a go. Went for AYCE lunch and was impressed with the variety offered. Tried numerous dishes that are fit for two people to share. Favourites included the sashimi, rolls and torched sushi & red Thai curry with coconut rice. Everything tastes great and fresh. There were items like the escargot that I wanted to try but had no space left to eat. Will certainly return for more sampling. The space is huge and beautifully decorated. It gives you the feel of being in Thailand, even if only for two hours :) Service was excellent. We had multiple servers bringing and clearing plates and answering questions. Ordering is simple, using an iPad and food is delivered quickly to the table thereafter. Washrooms are very clean. Ensuring cleanliness seems to be a priority. This could potentially replace another favourite spot, given their extensive options. I really, really enjoyed the torched salmon and unagi rolls! Top notch in taste!

This all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant chain just opened a location in Mississauga's Heartland area, and it's quickly become my new favourite AYCE spot in the city. The decor is modern and stylish, giving it a nice, welcoming vibe that's perfect for dinner with family or friends. Ordering is super convenient, you just use a tablet at the table, and there are so many options to choose from! They have everything from sushi, dim sum items, appetizers, teriyaki dishes, noodles, rice, and even some Thai selections. There's honestly something for everyone here, whether you're craving sushi rolls or hot cooked dishes. The quality of the food was really good! Fresh and flavourful, which isn't always a given at an AYCE place. What really stood out to me was the service. The staff were so attentive and thoughtful; they reviewed our order and even suggested spacing things out so everything could fit comfortably on the table. It's that little extra care that makes the experience so much better. If you're in Mississauga and looking for a solid all-you-can-eat Japanese spot with great food, variety, and top-notch service, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

My girlfriend and I came to this fine establishment to enjoy a night out and eat some traditional Japanese dishes . I didn't quite know what to expect since I have never been to a Spoon and Fork location before. I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised, my girlfriend was happy that I was enjoying myself to a bowl of Sashimi that was extremely fresh and flavorful. From the Snapper to the Blue Fin, I just could not stop myself from trying all the freshly sliced fish. I haven't even talked about the environment we spent our time eating in, first of all, this place was really cool. I mean COOL. Statues of Buddha everywhere and a hanging garden affixed to the hanging ceiling deco. And the service! I turned to my girlfriend and asked her if this place was star rated because the servers knew exactly when to bring us what we needed without even having to ask. There was one fault with the service though, sometimes orders seemed to get mixed up or didn't show up at all. That was a bit of a damper, but otherwise everything was prim and proper. Take a look at my pictures I've attached to this review because the food does taste as good as it looks and I couldn't picture a more interesting environment to eat the food in. I recommend Spoon and Fork on Mavis, it's a cool spot, if you don't mind a bit of a pricey all you can eat experience, this place might be the place for you.

Came by with some real old friends and what a pleasant surprise this place was. The atmosphere is modern chic and a great place for a relaxed dinner. Our server Emily was attentive and helpful as we worked our way through the extensive menu. We decided to share 3 dishes the Sweet and Sour Fish, the Basil Thai Fish and the Spicy Flat Noodles with Jumbo Shrimp. The portions were very generous and the flavors were unique and delicious. Fellow YELPERS you must give this place a try and I must stay you local Torontonions are a very tough crowd with your ratings as no way can this place be a 2 star lol!

The food is pretty good. There's an assortment of selection. Unique to other sushi spots they offer escargot (super buttery) and butter chicken. The sushi is yummy. Room is also well decorated and elevates the eating experience. Only complaint would be the service. While some servers r great, others seem bitter or annoyed. Food also often comes out less than you order. Some of the orders didn't come and we had to ask the servers multiple times.

For an all you can eat sushi restaurant, this place is amazing. They have a great selection of sushi and cooked food. We like how they also have some unique appetizers like escargots. The portions of the cooked food is small which is great for a buffet place so I can try a number of different items. However if you're looking for an authentic Japanese sushi experience, this is not the place to go. The service is great, they've always been very friendly. The restaurant is very well decorated and cozy which makes a great date night spot. BONUS POINT - this restaurant is baby friendly. Would go back for all you can eat sushi.

For an ayce sushi restaurant this place is 5/5. This place has a great selection of food, the sushi & sashimi are good, and the cooked food is very acceptable. Please don't compare the sushi here to an upscale sushi places or an omakase place - they are at a different level of standard and $$$. We also really like coming here because the place also looks quite fancy, it makes a nice date night spot. We so far have had a very good experience with the servers here. They're also very accommodating to my 1 year old baby.

My friend wanted to check out the new location of Spoon and Fork at Heartland Town Centre and me being the glutton I am, agreed to go. The location is nice, spacious and nicely decorated. We were promptly seated and provided with a tablet to order. I hadn't been to a Spoon and Fork in years, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered even more dishes than before. We ordered several items, and enjoyed most of them (the only one we did not like was the lemongrass beef). Service was very quick and efficient. It's probably best to only order a couple at a time, otherwise the table will be overwhelmed, and you will feel the need to eat quickly. Even though it's not a main attraction and more for a palate cleanser, dessert options could be improved. It felt like I was eating chocolate and strawberry Quik syrup on top of the pudding. All in all though, I would return again.

Japanese and Thai all in one place? Count me in! They serve assorted sashimi, sushi, curry, seafood and even Dim Sum. There are plenty of options if you're not into raw food. I especially loved their sashimi, torched sushi, rolls and beef tataki - all fresh and delicious! I mainly focused on Japanese food haha. Their satay was pretty good too. Also, I love the atmosphere! It's one of the best AYCE restaurants I've ever been to. Super clean with lots of plants around, it makes you feel great.

Since dining here the first time, we returned for takeout and used the promotional coupon for $25 off $50. Pickup service was fine, and taste of the food items we ordered previously were similar. We did order the appetizer platter this time around for variety. As expected, the calamari became a bit chewy as it continued to cook in the car in its own steam. The coconut shrimp and satay sticks were tender. We have not had the same experience as some of the other reviews. Perhaps because it was on a weekday or not quite at a peak busy time. Plus we stuck with items we knew best.

This picture of the Thai dumplings look good, right. Wait until you see the next picture.

When they provided with a table it was right next to an exterior door, with people going in and out. The was a cold draft, we even had to tell the hostess/manager, if they could provide a divider to divert the draft from hitting our table. We ordered 9 dim sum dishes, one be Roasted Pig Mixed Cold Jellyfish, which was $23.80. I had the idea that it would be a fair portion. When it came, I was shocked, it was only 6 pieces of Roasted Pig. When I spoke with the manager about the portion size, he commented "for that price it is fair". There was not apologies and walked away, nor was it written on the menu. If I had known it was only 6 pieces (size of your index and middle finger put together). I would not have ordered it. If you want to have Roasted Pig, you can get better deals else where. Also, ordered Marinated Chicken Feet for $13.98, when it came to table, it was also a disappointment, part of the chicken feet was dark in colour, not even sure if it was even edible or not. Another dim sum dish that I have order was the steamed chicken with fish maw. The chicken was okay, but there was only two small pieces of fish maw, (the size of each piece was 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch). The order 6 dim sum dishes that was order was mediocre, tasted better from other Dim Sum restaurant. When I received the bill for the meal it came out to be $119.50, they even had included the tip. They didn't even give me an option weather a tip was even worthy. I will definitely not be returning to this place. I definitely do not recommend anyone to come to this restaurant. I would consider blacklisting this restaurant. It's simply deceiving customers.

The individual New Century slow boiled soup is hardest to share but secure some empty bowls and you can divide the hefty portion. In the winter, there's a silkiness to the piping hot consommé that sooths a dry throat and has an umami essence infused with abalone, ginseng, and pork. There's plenty to choose from in the house signature combo platter including roasted duck, soy sauce chicken, BBQ pork, pork slices, and seaweed salad. Saving my stomach for the later dishes, I had a taste of the duck (a good start with crispy skin) and BBQ pork (satisfactory and well flavoured). With the generous portion of chicken in the combo platter, the slow cooked chicken with abalone broth seemed like overkill. I've never been a huge fan of this dish that's served cold since I prefer chicken hot. Still, I understand it's the jelly layer between the skin and meat that people enjoy. And to be fair, the chicken was tender, and New Century certainly didn't skimp on the ginger and scallion oil. For those who tend to fill-up before the "main dishes", the stars of the combo arrive mid-meal. The stir-fried Vancouver crabs with silver fish in HK style spicy sauce needs to be eaten at arrival as the crunchy coating is best straight from the fryer. And despite not looking spicy, the dish has a light heat that permeates in the background. Additionally, the crab was fresh and meaty, cooked well so it remained delicately flakey. The amount of sweet and sticky sauce used in the stir-fried lobsters with scallion in Maggie sauce was well balanced, lightly covering the crustaceans. Both lobsters were substantial; even after eating many pieces, we still had plenty of leftovers. This is a long review head to Gastro World for the rest.

Well, at first I was a bit on the fence about ordering cause of the vegetarian/vegan menu, I like my meat, love meat, got to have my protein dammit! But wow! was I ever surprised and happy about following my gut and choosing to go there. You see, I'm from Vancouver, and if you know a bit about my hometown is that you know we have a very large asian population. Heck, I'd even go as far as saying it's my second language, (my first language is English and my parents are Chilean...never spoken a word of it) but I've been around it so much somehow, I feel I could get by given the chance. So, by examining the pictures from the online menu, I thought to myself; If the food is anything remotely like the pictures, it looks exactly like my fav spot in Vancouver - Congee Noodle King- also a must try if you're in east Vancouver. Just trust my absent Asian ancestry ok?! I ordered the N65. Fried Noodles with Steamed and Stir-Fried Bean Curd, and as a request asked them to make it spicy to which they happily and kindly obliged. This dish was packed with flavour. Oh em gee! Loaded with fresh crunchy veggies, the noodles were spot on: thin, velvety and a lot of them. Makes for some healthy slurps! Oh, did I mention the meat? No, I didn't, because it didn't have any, and I have never not missed something so much. The crispy fried bean curds tasted like deep fried spare ribs. My pupils dilated a bit. And that's ok cause I went into a food coma, got to heaven and wrote a review about the very first Asian restaurant I try in Toronto and I'm already planning to go back. If you give this place less than 5 stars you don't know food, Asian food or how to speak it so go on and chew on some meat! Thank you for the wonderful and friendly service as well. I shall return. The server offered to bring a serving of hot deep fried sticky pork dumpling, which was refried and really chewy and dry. I have been to this restaurant on select special occasions for dinners when invited to attend. However, if given a choice, I would not recommend it for dim sum.

So this was my family's go to dim sum place in Mississauga until we discovered the fancy…read morerestaurants in Markham. It's one of the few places in Mississauga and maybe even the GTA that still does the carts. A fun tradition, for people who don't know, is being able to flag down a cart with your favourite dish as it rolls by. Sometimes a quick way to eat but also may take a while for you to get what you want If it's on in the carts. I recently went with some friends and the experience was decent. We surprisingly got sat down pretty quickly (it's very busy on the weekend, no online reservation, can call in for reservations for big groups) and there were lots of carts going around with food. Some things came out hot and others were a bit cold by the time it got to us. You can always order if you don't want to wait for the carts. The food itself was a bit of a hit or miss. Somethings were very tasty like the scallop dumplings and curried squid but others were a bit soggy like the har gow or cold like the fried taro. Service is like your typical Chinese restaurant, very busy, fast pace. Tea is always filled but can be a bit hard to flag down a waiter. It's a very big space and lots of family like to come on weekends for dim sum (I believe the carts are only offered on Saturday and Sunday) . We were a small group so we got seated immediately but some bigger groups (10+) had to wait 30+ minutes. So plan accordingly or try making a reservation in advance. I still enjoy the dim sum here simply for the cart experience. Is it the best dim sum? I would say no, but it's always a good time with friends and family.
