Dear Spokane tree pro, they were prompt courteous explaining how things were going to happen. We had a rotten tree that needed to come down. We didn't know the extent to how bad it was. Ben and staff moved heaven and earth to make sure that we had same day service to remove the dangerous tree. Working well with Avista as power lines needed to be moved. Power was out an hour and ten minutes. In that time the tree was removed cut up piled up, raked up and even blew the driveway off. You would barely know anything happened. I can't say enough good things about this company. I had Spokane Tree Pro grind a stump for me today. I was unable to meet the crew, as I was at work. But the wife said they were courteous. When I arrived home to see the job they did, I was very happy. I even checked it with a shovel. They went deep, which is what I needed because I am putting a driveway in. They chased the roots several feet out (it was a maple tree). They even cut off the 2ft stump that the other tree company left, and saved it for my daughter so I could carve a little chair out of it, because she misses the tree. Spokane Tree Pro came to cut down my neighbor's tree and damaged my driveway in the process. My neighbor said they wanted permission to bring one truck down the driveway to make the job easier and we agreed. Our impression was the tree would be cut down and taken out the side around our neighbor's garage, not down our driveway. When they got there, they decided to bring all their equipment down the driveway and use my concrete driveway as a landing pad for all of the tree chunks. This caused a bunch of cracks, one stretching about 8 ft, and multiple chunks of concrete knocked off. I called the company office to explain what happened and asked if there was anybody I could talk to. The office manager was very kind and said she would call me back. Next thing I know an angry and aggressive tree guy shows up at my door and is just downright rude from the start. I tried to show him the damage, but he wants to try and point out every crack starting at the top of the driveway and ask if they did that. He finally shows up at the spot where they were throwing tree chunks and sees the cracks and says to me, "We cracked it we didn't break it." Then after saying he can patch it I tell him I don't want him to touch it because I'm still waiting back from the office manager. He replies to this with, "Are you kicking us off of the property?" I was shocked by this response because it came out of nowhere. He then asks again if I want him to fix it and I say I don't want him touching it right now. He then says to his other two guys, "You heard him let's go." and takes off. I later learn the guy who showed up was a foreman named Ben and is most likely the owner of the company. Little did Ben know though, every action he and his crew took that day was on the security camera. So, I caught them trying to hide the damage with rocks they broke off, I saw Ben get an explanation of what happened and his guy showing him the chunk they broke off before putting on a show asking about every crack in the driveway. The whole interaction where Ben treats me like a piece of garbage for having the audacity to call his office to try and figure out how things ended up happening the way they did. The driveway was already not in the best shape and the damage would have been easy to ignore had Ben actually come to me and acted like he cared and apologized even if he didn't mean it. Unfortunately, Ben decided the best course of action was to berate me and disrespect my property all because I did my neighbor a favor and wanted to talk to somebody about how my driveway came to get damaged. I wasn't asking them for a repair, I wasn't asking them for money, all I wanted when I called was an explanation as to what had transpired. Civil discourse appears to not be Ben's strong suit though. Do not use Spokane Tree Pro. Do not support owner Ben Stanton. The fact he would be so disrespectful to somebody's property he wasn't even hired to work on baffles me. read more

I hired Spokane Tree Pro for tree removal and stump grinding. The stump grinding was carelessly performed and a window was broken. The boss said he would take care of this to my satisfaction. However, he never came to my home to view the damage. His assumptions about the window were largely incorrect. He was scheduled to come out 3 times and never showed. He called to say he was sending a window repair expert to come out. He later said he was in fact the window repair person and that he would remove my window and return it to me in a matter of weeks. I told him this was unacceptable. He became aggressively confrontational and I responded with the same. Meanwhile, I'd contacted professional glass repair companies and window replacement companies for information to fix the window. I paid Spokane Tree Pro the balance owed to them minus $150.00 for window repair by a professional. Spokane Tree Pro then threatened me with late fees of $100.00 per day if I didn't pay the $150.00. He has given many false and misleading statements to me as he bullies and covers up his previous verbal statements. At one point I asked if he had a boss that I could speak with. He told me his boss was in Hawaii for two weeks. I have since found out that he is the ultimate boss. The office staff was at first friendly until I confronted then with questions of his ongoing lies. The phone number that shows on my caller ID is a non working number that is "no longer in service". When I call the Spokane Tree Pro office I was then met with statements to the effect of "don't call us anymore". After much dissatisfaction and pain they gave me the $150.00 off the amount owed. Not a good experience. I will not have Spokane Tree Pro do anything for me again. read more

I just had the world's largest cherry tree removed from my yard. STP came to my home, safely and professionally took down my tree, and cleaned up like they had never been there. From the day I called them to the end of our project today I have experienced the most thorough and professional customer service I have ever had. Just had a giant messy tree topped by these guys today. They were amazing! It was great that I didn't have to take time off work and be home and babysit them. They are licensed and bonded, so that put me at ease. We consulted on what I wanted done, and they did it perfectly. The clean up was like they were never here at all. And the price was right, because I caught them when they were running a 10% off special in February! Ben was very professional and he even sent me a pic of the finished tree before he left!
