We unfortunately hired R & R Lawn & Tree Service (Angela McDade) to cut down some trees on our property. She falsely represented herself as the above named company which on her website stated she/they are Licensed/Insured which was a blatant lie. As per state law, she is responsible for any damages done by herself and/or her employees. A tree that was cut by her employee fell in the opposite direction they intended. It not only fell across her employees truck, but also took out power lines, started an electrical fire, caused roof damage, and damaged to our neighbors fence and property. As soon as this all happened, Angela McDade of R & R Lawn & Tree Service, panicked, deserted her employee who's truck was now under a tree, and my husband had to drive him home. She said she was going home to get her "insurance" information and bring it to us, which was a lie because she didn't/doesn't have insurance and didn't come back until the next day after trying to contact her that night into the next day. She then showed up with a false insurance document. She also typed up a letter basically blaming her employee for all the damages because she knew she didn't have insurance of any kind. She also had the audacity to ask us to commit insurance fraud and post date the accident claim to a later date so her "insurance" (which she never had) would cover it. We called the company she said she was "insured" by, they stated she didn't have insurance, had tried to get it the day after the incident, had tried several times to get insurance, and was denied because of too many attempts to get insurance. She continues to blame her employee, rather than taking responsibility for her own unethical actions. We have receipts, videos and pictures. YELP states it insures her "business" for $2500. If that is the case, we hope they give that money to her employee who had the tree fall across his truck. She has threatened to sue us which, if that's the route she chooses to go, we are completely ready and prepared. read more
