They came with an efficient crew and correct equipment, got in and got the job done, cleaned up well and got out! They were professional!

Oh no.... They do not know what they are doing..... on top of slow, awful communication. They just showed up without contacting me. The job got finished only because we helped. It was very hard to watch. When we asked for a discount for helping to get the job done, we were told the bid was already too low. They would have dropped the tree on my internet cable had we not stopped them. read more

We had a large silver maple in our backyard that had to be cut down. Aardvark was the only tree service that could schedule us before the new year. After our free estimate, we were scheduled for the next week. His team were on time and professional. This was a large operation, so we had a crane in our driveway, multiple trucks and a wood chipper on the side of the street, and dozens of huge logs lining the road. They did their best to make sure they were out of the way and respectful of our neighbors' property. They did a great job of working around traffic, making sure all the cars could drive through. The crane guy was AMAZING and did a fantastic job of lifting several large limbs over my house without any problems. When they were finally all done (this was an all day job) they did a wonderful job cleaning the road and my backyard. We originally thought the estimate to be a little overpriced. However, when we saw all of the man power and equipment they brought with them, in addition to their obvious expertise and professionalism, we think it was worth every penny. What a wonderful job they did! They removed a blue spruce, two very tall pine trees and a horse chestnut from our very crowded back yard. Also limbed up two huge cherry trees. Very careful with their equipment so not to damage the lawn, flowers etc. And cleanup was excellent! Did I mention the crew worked right thru a terrible rain and hail storm? Very disappointing service. Made an appointment with me to tag the trees I needed cut down for Sunday and then called me on Saturday, while I was out of town, to inform me he was going to my property then, to tag the trees we discussed. He didn't ask, and I didn't agree. Then he called me again and wanted to know where I was. Not really his business. He marked a tree I did not want cut down, I removed the green tag and he cut it down anyway! I asked to keep the wood and have cut it in 2 foot sections, was on the contract. Then when I said, that is a lot of wood, and complained that some are way too long. He took it upon himself to haul all my wood away. When first came to cut the trees on Monday, as was our appointment, I happen to be home ill that day. After I gave him the check, before he had completed the job, he immediately took his crew to the neighbors and started cutting her trees. I was highly upset as there was so much wood at the bottom of my stairs that my dog could not get out of my home. Then when I looked outside, they were cutting the neighbors trees into my yard over my garage. My car was also blocked in. I told them to move their truck out of my yard and away from my garage and my car. Then my neighbor stopped speaking to me. I don't know what happened, but it was not due to things I had done. The fact was that this man was cutting my neighbor's trees on my property over my garage without ever asking me. These actions are very unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this organization to anyone. read more

My mother recently called and they sent someone out to give her a quote. she decided to go with them after getting other quotes from different tree removal services. She was told they would be out on Thurs June 9, 2016 to remove the tree at noon. No one showed up. When she called, they told her that the guy who gave her the quote was new and that it was going to cost more. She told them to forget it. They could have called immediately and explained this to her instead of not showing up and not calling. We already told a friend not to use them and we will not recommend them to anyone! read more
