I love this range!! Pistol and rifle! Set up very nice! They are very vigilant on safety, which is the most important thing at a gun range!

Best shooting range in Spokane & Couer d' Alene region. Safer and more friendly than other ranges within 100 miles.

A great place to do some shooting close to town. Reasonable membership fees that are very fair to keep this place afloat. Big supporter!!

I don't 1-star review (or 5-star, for that matter), but I sure do consider it from time to time…read more Had good communication with the gen mgr on getting Tritium night sights installed on my son's pistol professionally. Wish he would have explained to me how long it would take to do a job that should be an hour, or less, at most. Gunsmithing isn't prevalent in our metro, and Sharp Shooters was the first call we made. They didn't have a problem with us getting a 3rd party purchase to install on the pistol. Great price for installation, by the way ($25), so we brought it in. Called after a week and were told, 'It's number 3 in line for service. Our tech says he'll to get to it after lunch.' Didn't happen. The following week, we called and basically heard the same spiel, and were told we'd get a call the next day when it was done. No call. It got tough telling my son everyday to hang in there. That disappoints me most in all of this. Regardless, what could we do? If they were going to do it we had to wait. Don't complain to people who are working on your gun, right? Look, I probably could have installed the sights (I have the tools and have done it on my rifles), but this was NOT my firearm, so I took the local/pro route for my son. If it was explained up front that it would take weeks to do, we would have called another service. At the 3-week mark, we called again and found out it was done. The rep stated (curiously) that there wasn't a 'note to call the customer,' and could not say how long it had been since the replacement. Not cool. If we did not call it would have just been sitting there. Picked it up, with another heapin' helpin' of crap-sandwich for this experience. The $25 job was now $54, because the smith had to, 'Cut out the rear sights.' When I asked the rep why we were only getting the original rear sights back (in package and obviously not cut out), I also asked where the original front sights were? He went to a back office for a minute or two, and came back with a blah-blah-blah you can wait here for the next 2 hours until our guy comes in. Yeah, nope. This was a brand new pistol purchased in 2020, and not some rusted vintage piece. Permanently marred the front site area, too (see pics). Front sights on any modern firearm are removed east-to-west, and reseated west-to-east. Friggin' Gunsmithing 101. Effing-ridiculous. My sons (3) and I considered a year's membership at their indoor range ($300 each/plus tax), but in light of everything, that's a hale and hearty hell no. And, if the sights clearly need adjustment when we take it out to the range, I will update this review accordingly...

I come into this review open and honestly. I had an incredible experience here…read more Someone missed the mark on teaching me anything about guns and shooting and it was my very last week in my 20s and my husband bought me the Women and Guns class. I am really really glad he did. It is something else to learn a new skill completely, but leaving with real concrete knowledge is even better. Mind you, I had never shot a gun before this experience and the class itself is amazing for anyone who is feeling like they just want to feel comfortable about guns as a whole. Darius was our instructor. I brought a friend with me and the class was full. I brought my own gear, headphones and glasses because of course, my husband. The class is broken down into parts about the history of guns, what a gun is made of, what ammunition is and so so much more. I left with the experience and the education all packed into a three hour class that was rich in content. Daruis was amazing. Honestly, this whole thing can be intimidating and I was coming in wanting to know as much as possible, since I came in knowing absolutely nothing. He put the class at ease the whole time, and answered every single question. He used facts then backed those facts up with his own opinions. Being a marine, it showed that his dedication to teaching people about this was exactly what he should be doing. I shot as many guns as I could. The adrenaline was followed by massive hunger, (so funny Darius warned us about this.) It was a well rounded experience that I would recommend to all women.

I was visiting some friends in the area and decided to tag along to this workshop despite…read moreCalifornia not being a open-carry state. There's really not much else to do in this area so I figured I might as well attend this workshop. Malia, the class coordinator, was flexible about letting me register at literally the last minute to take this class with my friends. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the class was designed. The brief lecture was far from boring, the instructor, Chris was very thorough and seemed to be an expert on the subject matter. Don't get me wrong - its a long course - almost 4 and a half hours long - but Chris is a very efficient, patient and thorough instructor. I honestly did not realize how quickly time passed because the material content and his presentation/delivery techniques made the material easy to grasp and understand. I especially liked how he tailored his content to both audiences who have been around and using guns all their lives - to those with limited exposure to them - myself being in the latter group. What I really appreciate about Chris's class is how much emphasis he places on safety and awareness - I think that alone shows the level of respect Chris has for an subject area that has drawn countless debates. I highly recommend taking this course. Even if it may not be legal (yet) to carry in your state, the permit you do end up getting is valid in nearly half the US. In addition, the level of knowledge you take away from this class alone, gives you more awareness and respect for gun use/safety.

I have been through 3 ccw classes for several states and this is the best. No really it is…read more The class was made personal. Questions were welcomed and the power point was on point. Paper work was clearly explained and they showed you how to fill it out. If you have never filled it out before you usually end up doing it twice. I am looking forward to taking some pistol classes from them...

After moving to Sandpoint in 2013 from a state on the coast south of here, which will remain…read morenameless...ok, ok...Kommiefornia, Wrenco Arms was the first gun store I visited. Now keep in mind this was the OLD ownership, and as I walked through the front door the room went from loud, jovial talking, to dead silence. All eyes were on me as I moved about the store, checking it out. No one said a word to me; no greeting, no one asked if they could help me find something. NOTHING! The atmosphere seemed almost hostile, like I didn't belong in the store so I quickly left and never went back. Several months later I was looking through a real estate magazine and saw Wrenco was for sale and for a split second I thought about buying the business. Again, for a split second. Then, several more months later, I saw Wrenco was under new ownership. This could be a good thing, I thought, so I went in to the store to look around again. When I entered the store this young guy approached me, extended his hand and told me his name is Brandon, the new owner. He actually thanked me for coming in to the store, and asked if I need help finding anything. WOW! What a difference from my first experience! I recently purchased a new rifle I had been wanting for a very long time, a Remington 700 Sendero SF ll in 7mm Rem. Mag. and Grant handled the sales transaction and background check which, with my CCW, took maybe 10 minutes. The entire staff at Wrenco Arms are very knowledgeable and friendly. I especially like the fact that they remember my name. It may not seen like much to some people, but to me it means they appreciate my business. Does Wrenco Arms have the cheapest prices on everything they sell? Probably not. However, their prices are more than fair, and, there is much to be said for the exceptional level of customer service they offer. And personally, I find it very difficult to place a price on someone else's knowledge, experience, and expertise. To Brandon, Grant, and the rest of the team at Wrenco (sorry I don't remember your names; I have a closed head T.B.I. or traumatic brain injury and moderate/severe memory loss) congratulations on your success, and I wish you even more in the future!
