Anyway I texted the owner Marcy and she returned my call within 10 minutes and got me squared away. Ryan was our day long class instructor. The subject matter was a tad dry, as in Death Valley dry..however Ryan got us thru a long day. That evening I got a call from him reference paper work for the cert I needed. He walked me thru the procedure for logging my training and then he did it all for me..Thank you Ryan!!! This operation is good to go. From handguns to long rifles or shot guns you can go slow or go fast. They got it handled.

This is definitely a gun club and not your average Joe shooting range. I visited this place with my…read morehubby and toddler today to sign up for a membership and complete a facility tour/safety briefing. All I can say is WOW!!! Between the ample shooting bays, the large classrooms, a seating area for dining, an outdoor area to barbecue food, access to the kitchen stocked with beverages available for purchase, the comprehensive safety features of the 400 yard rifle range, I can go on and on about this place. I also must mention that this range is kept so neat, clean, and orderly, which is super important for firearms safety. As for range staff, Chief Firearms Instructor George Howley is probably the friendliest Firearms Instructor I've ever met, and I have many years of shooting instruction and classes under my gun belt. The fact that shooting legend Massad Ayoob taught at this facility last week with George as his safety officer speaks volumes about both the facility and George. My only regret with FRGC is not signing up sooner as memberships run from January to January. But needless to say, we will definitely be renewing come January!!

These guys don't release SAR and handgun transfers after 10 business days elapse if no LE response…read moreFYI (Double Eagle, Precision Combat Arms, Sharp Shooting, NW Pawn & Collector Arms all do to my knowledge, go to one of those FFLs for a more expedient semi-auto transfer). I waited 29 calendar days to get my pistol from 3 Aces. I was told verbatim "we'll pass it on to you when law enforcement responds to the check, or in 10 business days, whichever comes first," when I paid my fee and signed my 4473. That was pretty untruthful lol. I used them for a gunbroker transfer, they didn't follow up with the county, they didn't update me at all until I called them 14 days in when I was told "we don't release guns after the 10 days, we wait until the check is approved." Oh really? Cool. A background check has 30 days for response before one must refile and restart the process, so I called on the 29th day to make sure they didn't already have it, they had gotten it back approved almost a week before and did not call me or leave a voicemail when they got it. When I retrieved my firearm, I was accused of not paying the transfer fee, I didn't ask for a receipt when I did pay it, and had to pull up a bank statement showing the charge on my phone before I could go. There are plenty of other shops in Spokane that will handle your expensive and time sensitive gun purchases with some degree of professionalism. I'd pass these guys up.

I came here in a group, 2 of us had NEVER TOUCHED a gun mind you and the other 2 hadn't shot guns…read morein YEARS. We told them that from the jump. I would like to say the main guy who helped sign us up was super nice and helpful. We asked for someone to come in and show us how to load, unload, and shoot the guns and they never did. In fact when I asked one fella if he would be able to come in and help us he said "yea maybe if it's not busy it's pretty straightforward" and was really smug about it. Also it's not if youve never even held one before but okay. We struggled the whole time and overall didn't enjoy our experience bc of that( us girls at least lol) We were really excited for this experience but honestly was kinda let down. Also when I called about pricing they did not mention you had to pay for ear muffs and eye protection. I also burned my chest because there was no mention on the website or phone call that bullets are super hot ? And I know most ppl would say that's common sense but again I've never been around guns or held them so that was a suprise. 1/10

One of the few places actually transferring suppressors to customers per recent court rulings…read more Paperwork and instant background check the same as buying a firearm. Very busy shop and I saw 3-4 suppressors sold before it was my turn to be helped. I bought a basic 22lr suppressor to get my feet wet but they have a large selection in many calibers. Lots of new and used firearms for sale too.
