Suppressor mounts and hubs, flashlight tape switches, good, high end NVGs, steel targets, and they personally test a huge majority of the gear they sell - and then put up well made YouTube videos with the results. If you've ever bought an NFA item from a shop and then had them sit on your approval for days or weeks... another sigh of relief with ECG. From what I can tell, they strive to get notifications out to customers the day they get the approvals from the ATF. No games like I've played with a lot of other NFA shops over the last 14 years. My friend is a legal Idaho resident with an Idaho driver's license and meets all residency requirements to purchase a handgun in Idaho. Despite this, Chad refused to proceed with the sale because my friend is temporarily living out of state for school, which is not disqualifying under federal law. What made this worse was Chad's attitude. He was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen, and when we asked to speak with a manager to clarify the situation, he flat-out refused to get one. No explanation, no attempt to verify policy, just a hard no and an unprofessional tone. If this is a corporate policy issue, that's fine but customers deserve accurate information and respectful service, not misinformation and stonewalling. Refusing to escalate to a manager when requested is unacceptable. I expected better from a company of this size. I'll be taking my business to a local gun shop that actually understands the law and treats customers with respect.

After having…read moreto extract a broken casing from my 9mm I had the ammunition examined to find out that it was severely overloaded causing primers to balloon and one case exploded, distorting the base of the case so bad that it blew the primer right out of it. The shape shift and move around, changing their numbers and finding anyway to get out of honoring their products, which by the way are not their products. They purchase bulk ammo from other vendors and repackage or not the ammo for sale on their travelling side show. The box of 1000 9mm rounds I purchased from them had brass from 4 different manufacturers and 3 different brands of cci primers being used. The powder charges were all over the map. Stay away if you want to avoid gun damage and/or bodily injury from firing their garbage ammo.

I asked him to move the recoil lug back (adult - youth length) he gave it back to me with an 1/8 in gap in the forend. Get this, I called him out on it and what did he say? "I should have never taken a job from you" and "It's a cheap gun it doesn't matter anyway". Also told me he wouldn't fix it. So I wasted a few hundred bucks. I asked about his "Masters in gunsmithing" he was bragging about and if he's proud to hand this quality of work to a customer. I was looking to buy a Tikka t3x, Vortex scope and scope rings for my son's 10th birthday. I knew exactly what I wanted and was trying to put the entire package together. From what I could tell there were four men working the gun counter. At times, two men working on the same paperwork. A total of two customers when I walked in. All 4 employees grumbling about what they were doing. Not one even did so much as make eye contact with me for the entire 34 minutes I stood there. I picked out a scope base and scope rings. I left the scope rings and bass on the counter right over top of the scope I had wanted to purchase. I've never had a worse experience at a business in my entire life. There's no excuses for not even acknowledging someone's presence. I've bought many guns and spent a ton of money at North 40 but won't be in the future. North 40s prices are great and I thought I'd give my business to a brick and mortar versus ordering online. With what I experienced today I'm convinced Midway USA will get me my product quicker. Absolutely pitiful customer service.
