The second me and my buddy walked in on my birthday to the location at the NORTHPOINTE PLAZA, 9704…read moreN Newport Hwy, Spokane, WA 99218, the store manager named Heidi told us to leave literally the second we walked in so we asked if it was because we had frappuccinos from Starbucks as a joke she just kept saying "Get the f*** out of here" over and over probably about 10-12 times while im trying to ask "what is the problem" "why is she cussing at us and telling us we need to leave" she then tells us that " if we don't get the f*** out of here either the ambulance or police will remove us if we stay and she has to use her gun to make her point". And at this point we decided to leave. After she gave us no reason for why we could stay. And then when we call back and complain the next manager tells me her name and then tells me that it's private property and that they can do whatever they want once I tell him this story and then act like he didn't know her name when I asked for it again. So we decided to sit in the parking lot a little longer to figure out what we're going to do about this and had to go about talking to her and get us to go in there and look for shoes cuz they got a good deals and we just wanted a pair of shoes. About 30 minutes later after her customer that was in there and leaves she comes out locks the doors and goes to her car parked 3 cars from us and get in the car and no lie on everything I love she pulls out a meth pipe and starts smoking whatever is in that pipe. And not only did she pull out a pipe she pulls out a foil and a straw to her mouth she lights up whatever's on the foil. So needs to say she has a drug problem so maybe that's her problem because we never been a problem in any store and personal don't know anything about drugs other than the worst and that explains her behavior. She needed a fix and couldn't be bothered with another customer till afterwards.

The Rack always has tons of stuff to wade through so shopping here is definitely an acquired taste. Finding a salesperson is easy because they are all wearing bright green t-shirts. The prices are reasonable and if you find exactly what you want then buying it is a no-brainer! Parking here is usually relatively easy, except on the weekends. There are a number of restaurants close by that you can frequent once you have maxed out your credit card. Every so often you can find a designer item here that is ridiculously cheap! Monday afternoon I received the email my order was ready for pick-up. When I got to the store, I was greeted, and I proceeded to the purchase counter, gave them my ID and let them know I placed an online order. Overall, my first experience with online ordering and in-store pick-up was a success and see myself doing it more often to save on shipping, especially if I need to go to town anyways.

They are helpful but wait for service can be very long when it's busy…read more My review would have been 3 stars for the above reasons, but here's the clincher for 2 stars: They had said that people buying shoes online will put them out of business. First of all, they should put the blame where it belongs - with their suppliers, who also sell directly to consumers online. And second, I believe their punitive return policies will put them out of business. There is a restocking fee for shoe returns within one week and not at all on socks. They will waive the restocking fee and give you store credit. Then, it's so old school with everything a huge paper trail mess. The whole process would be so much simpler and easier if it was computerized. I will most likely take the loss on my store credit because I don't want to go back there and be in the same boat of them holding onto my money if I can't find something that works for me there. I need to walk around my house for at least a day in new shoes to see if they will truly work for me.
