First time out with that firearm it malfunctioned again. Called these guys back and the owner/gunsmith literally begged me to bring it back. It's amazing to find someone with such strong values about what they're doing. If you've ever walked into a g@n store and dreaded talking to the fudds at the counter, this place will be a huge relief. They know their stuff, they aren't pushy, and the store itself has WAY more items than you might think. They have a lot of things I usually would order online because you wouldn't expect to find them locally. Suppressor mounts and hubs, flashlight tape switches, good, high end NVGs, steel targets, and they personally test a huge majority of the gear they sell - and then put up well made YouTube videos with the results. If you've ever bought an NFA item from a shop and then had them sit on your approval for days or weeks... another sigh of relief with ECG. From what I can tell, they strive to get notifications out to customers the day they get the approvals from the ATF. No games like I've played with a lot of other NFA shops over the last 14 years. Overall, if you've never been in - you should support these guys.

These guys don't release SAR and handgun transfers after 10 business days elapse if no LE response…read moreFYI (Double Eagle, Precision Combat Arms, Sharp Shooting, NW Pawn & Collector Arms all do to my knowledge, go to one of those FFLs for a more expedient semi-auto transfer). I waited 29 calendar days to get my pistol from 3 Aces. I was told verbatim "we'll pass it on to you when law enforcement responds to the check, or in 10 business days, whichever comes first," when I paid my fee and signed my 4473. That was pretty untruthful lol. I used them for a gunbroker transfer, they didn't follow up with the county, they didn't update me at all until I called them 14 days in when I was told "we don't release guns after the 10 days, we wait until the check is approved." Oh really? Cool. A background check has 30 days for response before one must refile and restart the process, so I called on the 29th day to make sure they didn't already have it, they had gotten it back approved almost a week before and did not call me or leave a voicemail when they got it. When I retrieved my firearm, I was accused of not paying the transfer fee, I didn't ask for a receipt when I did pay it, and had to pull up a bank statement showing the charge on my phone before I could go. There are plenty of other shops in Spokane that will handle your expensive and time sensitive gun purchases with some degree of professionalism. I'd pass these guys up.

I don't 1-star review (or 5-star, for that matter), but I sure do consider it from time to time…read more Had good communication with the gen mgr on getting Tritium night sights installed on my son's pistol professionally. Wish he would have explained to me how long it would take to do a job that should be an hour, or less, at most. Gunsmithing isn't prevalent in our metro, and Sharp Shooters was the first call we made. They didn't have a problem with us getting a 3rd party purchase to install on the pistol. Great price for installation, by the way ($25), so we brought it in. Called after a week and were told, 'It's number 3 in line for service. Our tech says he'll to get to it after lunch.' Didn't happen. The following week, we called and basically heard the same spiel, and were told we'd get a call the next day when it was done. No call. It got tough telling my son everyday to hang in there. That disappoints me most in all of this. Regardless, what could we do? If they were going to do it we had to wait. Don't complain to people who are working on your gun, right? Look, I probably could have installed the sights (I have the tools and have done it on my rifles), but this was NOT my firearm, so I took the local/pro route for my son. If it was explained up front that it would take weeks to do, we would have called another service. At the 3-week mark, we called again and found out it was done. The rep stated (curiously) that there wasn't a 'note to call the customer,' and could not say how long it had been since the replacement. Not cool. If we did not call it would have just been sitting there. Picked it up, with another heapin' helpin' of crap-sandwich for this experience. The $25 job was now $54, because the smith had to, 'Cut out the rear sights.' When I asked the rep why we were only getting the original rear sights back (in package and obviously not cut out), I also asked where the original front sights were? He went to a back office for a minute or two, and came back with a blah-blah-blah you can wait here for the next 2 hours until our guy comes in. Yeah, nope. This was a brand new pistol purchased in 2020, and not some rusted vintage piece. Permanently marred the front site area, too (see pics). Front sights on any modern firearm are removed east-to-west, and reseated west-to-east. Friggin' Gunsmithing 101. Effing-ridiculous. My sons (3) and I considered a year's membership at their indoor range ($300 each/plus tax), but in light of everything, that's a hale and hearty hell no. And, if the sights clearly need adjustment when we take it out to the range, I will update this review accordingly...
