I waited 29 calendar days to get my pistol from 3 Aces. I was told verbatim "we'll pass it on to you when law enforcement responds to the check, or in 10 business days, whichever comes first," when I paid my fee and signed my 4473. That was pretty untruthful lol. I used them for a gunbroker transfer, they didn't follow up with the county, they didn't update me at all until I called them 14 days in when I was told "we don't release guns after the 10 days, we wait until the check is approved." Oh really? Cool. A background check has 30 days for response before one must refile and restart the process, so I called on the 29th day to make sure they didn't already have it, they had gotten it back approved almost a week before and did not call me or leave a voicemail when they got it. When I retrieved my firearm, I was accused of not paying the transfer fee, I didn't ask for a receipt when I did pay it, and had to pull up a bank statement showing the charge on my phone before I could go. There are plenty of other shops in Spokane that will handle your expensive and time sensitive gun purchases with some degree of professionalism. I'd pass these guys up.

Upon receiving the items, I realized they were indeed factory blemished and confirmed them to be blemished with the actual factory directly. After contacting the store they said they will give me a refund, but I am still out of pocket a $150 for FFL transfer fees for receiving, shipping for receiving and FLL fees for returns and shipping for returns.. They were untruthful with the transaction and the last e-email communications went un-answered when prompting them to make it right.

Wish he would have explained to me how long it would take to do a job that should be an hour, or less, at most. Gunsmithing isn't prevalent in our metro, and Sharp Shooters was the first call we made. They didn't have a problem with us getting a 3rd party purchase to install on the pistol. Great price for installation, by the way ($25), so we brought it in. Called after a week and were told, 'It's number 3 in line for service. Our tech says he'll to get to it after lunch.' Didn't happen. The following week, we called and basically heard the same spiel, and were told we'd get a call the next day when it was done. No call. It got tough telling my son everyday to hang in there. That disappoints me most in all of this. Regardless, what could we do? If they were going to do it we had to wait. Don't complain to people who are working on your gun, right? Look, I probably could have installed the sights (I have the tools and have done it on my rifles), but this was NOT my firearm, so I took the local/pro route for my son. If it was explained up front that it would take weeks to do, we would have called another service. At the 3-week mark, we called again and found out it was done. The rep stated (curiously) that there wasn't a 'note to call the customer,' and could not say how long it had been since the replacement. Not cool. If we did not call it would have just been sitting there. Picked it up, with another heapin' helpin' of crap-sandwich for this experience. The $25 job was now $54, because the smith had to, 'Cut out the rear sights.' When I asked the rep why we were only getting the original rear sights back (in package and obviously not cut out), I also asked where the original front sights were? He went to a back office for a minute or two, and came back with a blah-blah-blah you can wait here for the next 2 hours until our guy comes in. Yeah, nope. This was a brand new pistol purchased in 2020, and not some rusted vintage piece. Permanently marred the front site area, too (see pics). Front sights on any modern firearm are removed east-to-west, and reseated west-to-east. Friggin' Gunsmithing 101. Effing-ridiculous. My sons (3) and I considered a year's membership at their indoor range ($300 each/plus tax), but in light of everything, that's a hale and hearty hell no. And, if the sights clearly need adjustment when we take it out to the range, I will update this review accordingly...

I am really really glad he did. It is something else to learn a new skill completely, but leaving with real concrete knowledge is even better. Mind you, I had never shot a gun before this experience and the class itself is amazing for anyone who is feeling like they just want to feel comfortable about guns as a whole. Darius was our instructor. I brought a friend with me and the class was full. I brought my own gear, headphones and glasses because of course, my husband. The class is broken down into parts about the history of guns, what a gun is made of, what ammunition is and so so much more. I left with the experience and the education all packed into a three hour class that was rich in content. Daruis was amazing. Honestly, this whole thing can be intimidating and I was coming in wanting to know as much as possible, since I came in knowing absolutely nothing. He put the class at ease the whole time, and answered every single question. He used facts then backed those facts up with his own opinions. Being a marine, it showed that his dedication to teaching people about this was exactly what he should be doing. I shot as many guns as I could. The adrenaline was followed by massive hunger, (so funny Darius warned us about this.) It was a well rounded experience that I would recommend to all women.

I had a bad experience with an online order. When the car arrived, it had missing parts, dents, scratches, a bent suspension, and what looked like an old seat. I tried contacting the store and left a voicemail with my information, but no one called me back. A week later, I finally reached the same salesman who took my online order. I explained all the damages and missing parts, and the next day he called me back offering to send the missing parts and give me a $20 credit for the dents and damages--which isn't even close to what it would cost to get a proper paint job. It feels like they just expect me to spray-paint it myself. Then, they sent me an invoice for the refund, but it doesn't show the full amount I originally paid. At this point, the whole process with them feels really fishy.

Despite this, Chad refused to proceed with the sale because my friend is temporarily living out of state for school, which is not disqualifying under federal law. What made this worse was Chad's attitude. He was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen, and when we asked to speak with a manager to clarify the situation, he flat-out refused to get one. No explanation, no attempt to verify policy, just a hard no and an unprofessional tone. If this is a corporate policy issue, that's fine but customers deserve accurate information and respectful service, not misinformation and stonewalling. Refusing to escalate to a manager when requested is unacceptable. I expected better from a company of this size. I'll be taking my business to a local gun shop that actually understands the law and treats customers with respect.
