One of the best water parks I've been to, and I've been to quite a few. I read some of the reviews on the way there and thought it'd be a let down due to the amount of negatives. However we went today (Wednesday, late June) and the most we waited for a ride was 10 minutes. The longest wait was for bootlegger, and the wait was worth it. It is a little pricey getting in, though the admission isn't too high, you still pay $15+ for parking and if you buy a locker that's another $15+. We did not bring towels or valuables besides our phones/money/keys so we didn't need a locker, we had a waterproof holder necklace. Going in, we saw that the season pass is a great deal if you live nearby and want to come often during the summer. It's like $15-20 more than the general one day admission per person. Great deal. It wasn't that busy at all. It looked busy but most of the rides had little to no line. We didn't have h2go either. The wave pool and lazy river had only a handful of people in them which was nice. I liked that there were cubbies to put flip flops/towels in before you go on a slide. The bathroom I went into was nice and clean as well. Although we didn't get food, there seemed to be lots of variety and the prices weren't too terribly overpriced... ever been to a movie theater? Way worse. I liked seeing plenty of lifeguards at each ride. Most were pretty young looking but they were all friendly and helpful. read more

I've been going to Splish Splash since it first opened when I was a young kid and as time passes the further downhill it goes. First, in case a manager reads these reviews, I'm going to mention"Hyperlight" which used to be "The Abyss." Please, lower the music. Someone who is legally deaf would hear that just fine; it's as loud as being front row in general admission to a concert and it's not enjoyable. Second, I don't know if it happened at the same time as the H2Go pass came out to give incentive for people to buy it, but it's absolutely ridiculous how they don't fill up group rides when there is an hour + wait time even when using the H2Go pass. The only person who I've heard trying to fill the ride up was the one at the Giant Twister when the third slide was open. The Bootlegger and Alien Invasion fit four people and have the longest wait time but they put people on two at a time instead of filling it. These 90+ minute wait times would be cut in half if they actually filled the rides up. Also, I saw someone who was alone and told she couldn't go on Alien Invasion, and when she pointed out that the ride is never filled with groups of four and she could go on with a group of two or three she was given an "Okay, if a group is willing to let you go with them then you can go." As opposed to grouping people to fill the rides in the first place like every other amusement park out there. I understand these are teens working the rides, but you can't tell me it's only teens managing the place as well. Third, water shoes. I wear water shoes so I don't have to touch the dirty ground barefoot. I don't see any written rules about no shoes allowed on rides x, y and z, yet on some rides you go on with no problem and then an hour later you go on the same ride only to be told you have to take them off. Last year I stopped riding Shotgun for that reason and rode Max Trax several times without a problem. Today on my second trip on Max Trax suddenly the shoes had to come off. Splish Splash gets two stars for its good rides. Hopefully management someday fixes the problems of the inept way it's run. read more

Let me preface this by saying we used to make an annual trip to splish splash every August on the Monday before Labor Day. A large group of us would go and the park was crowded, but lines weren't out of control. This was from around 2009 through 2012. We then went again in 2014 and had the same, positive experience. In all of those years, we were able to go on every ride, only waiting over 30 minutes for alien invasion and the dr. Von dark ride, which we thought were worth it. We were able to go on rides like dinosaur falls, shotgun falls, max tracks, abyss, giant twister etc multiple times during our day. We even took an hour for lunch. In 2015, we went and the lines were insane. We were told about the H2Go Pass when purchasing tickets, but didn't think much of it because we'd never had a bad experience. Well that was a mistake. We spent more time waiting on line than enjoying the rides. Last week, we decided to go again. WHAT A MISTAKE!! the crowd was no different than in the past, but the lines were horrible. After waiting for over 40 minutes to go on giant twister (Giant mistake!!) we decided to buy the H2Go Pass. Good thing we went when we did because they were sold out of all levels of it and closed the line right behind us. Luckily we were able to get the pass because we were on line already. We opted for the basic $50 one. Before purchasing the pass, we asked if any other rides besides giant twister were not using the H2Go pass that day and were assured by a supervisor that all were operating. Well that was a huge lie. Alien invasion and Hollywood stunt rider also were not honoring the pass that day. We asked if any concessions could be made since we were misinformed and told that there was nothing they could do about it. we weren't asking for a refund, just to be able to do something about the wait since supervisors are not informed of which rides are using the H2Go pass and which aren't. Poor customer service on their part. The watch itself is difficult to use, especially once it gets wet. Unlike Disney, if the ride is over a 2 hour wait, you can't reserve another ride after 2 hours. Also, if you decide to get everyone's pass on one watch, there's no way to schedule some members of the party on one ride and others on another. Not everyone wants to go on dragons den and experience the drop. No one told us this when we purchased the pass. While we were able to hold our spot on a few rides, we ended up waiting on long lines anyway. Bootleggers run was our first pick and we couldn't go on it until two and a half hours later. It was a ride that lasted no more than 1 1/2 minutes. Additionally, even though our pass was ready, we still had to wait on the H2Go line for 15-20 minutes on some rides. Even with the pass, we didn't get to go on every ride and still experienced long wait time. It seems like the only way to enjoy the park now a days is to spend the extra $120 per person and get the pass that allows you to save "up to 90%" wait time. That would mean that each ticket is $170 each. Not even Disney charges that much. Their pass is $20 for the whole day and it allows you to go on practically every ride. The final straw was when it was 4:59 and the rude, short blonde haired male employee at dragon's den closed the line, turning families with young kids away. We had just made it on line, as our H2Go pass time was at 4:58. He loudly expressed that he "can't wait to go home because I've been here since this morning" he then proceeded to get nasty with two small girls, no more than 9-10 years old to grab the tube. No one is saying it that he should have let everyone on line at closing, but when it's a minute before closing and the people are already at the line, there's no need to turn them away. It's funny though, the concession stands were more than happy to accept customers well past 5 PM. When the park is making additional money, they're fine taking it. Overall, this day cost $450 for 3 people, which was $450 too much. Breakdown: $55 per ticket, $50 per H2Go passes (if we would have lost the bands they give, we would have been charged an extra $20 per lost band), $40 for lunch ($30 for a pizza pie that tasted TERRIBLE--the teenager insisted on pizza, so we obliged), $40 for funnel cakes and two waters at park closing, $30 for parking, and $25 for a locker--all to deal with employees with attitudes, long wait times, and a park that SMELLED LIKE URINE everywhere you went. I definitely will not be returning and will not be recommending this place to anyone. read more

I haven't been to this place since a class trip back in the day! A few of us adults decided it would be a fun day out-unfortunately the August weather decided to start the day as if it were October but luckily it got better as the day went on. This place is pretty expensive if you're trying to come as a family. We all got a Groupon & it was still $39...what on earth is the regular price?! Then $15 to park AND $18 for a locker...umm is that a joke?! (No it's not, we paid cuz what other choice did we have). Since it was a Tuesday and not extremely hot the place wasn't packed so the lines weren't terrible for most rides. Every thing we went on was a lot of fun but most of the stair cases to get to the top were EXTREMELY sketchy! There were so many cracks on them it was scarier walking up and waiting on them than any of the rides actually were! Maybe they could use some of those lockers fees towards renovations? Also the roller coaster ride jammed twice while we were on line so we got off cuz that seemed a bit risky. Then on to lunch, now don't be expecting fine dining at a water park but for $32 for 2 small drinks, 2 popcorn chickens and 2 fries with bacon and cheese you'd expect it to at least be mediocre...ehh not worth the $32...plus they had garlic fries listed on the menu which we both wanted originally but they ran out of garlic...umm you're located in farm country, seems like an unlikely thing to run out of but whatever. Overall it's extraordinarily expensive to come so it won't be a regular thing but still a good time had by all. I've lived on Long Island for 10 years and based on word of mouth, I avoided Splish Splash like the plague the last decade. However, we were spending some time out on the North Fork and decided that we'd give it a shot for the sake of the kids, but only if we went midweek and got there right when the park opened. One thing that always puts a bad taste in my mouth is having to pay for parking at a location so that you have the privilege to pay yet again to enter the property. So they get you twice. How else am I going to get there, by walking? The way around is this ludicrous fee is to pack as many people as you can in the car and then be the last ones laughing, anyhow, enough of the parking. Just get there early, pay the fee, and suck it up. Given that I was expecting the worst, I was very impressed with the first impression of this water park, from an aesthetic stand point. My smile quickly turned into a frown however, when I looked into a renting a locker. For a decent sized locker, you're dropping $18+ bucks. Once again, the feeling of getting nickle & dimed overcomes me. My wife decides that she'll just carry our bag instead of getting a locker. No big deal. Food. Overpriced. Johnny Rockets is where we went for the food. Wasn't disappointed or disappointed. Kids enjoyed it. Rides - this is where this place shines. The water slides & water rides are top notch. Going early enough in the day midweek affords the chance to ride as many of the water rides as possible. The thrill of these rides quickly made me forget about the parking fees, the locker fees, etc. I could see myself coming back here, but once again, midweek, and right when it opens. You have to plan ahead..you have to get there when it first opens...10AM on most days....we arrived at 9:45 AM...they let you through the main entrance....then you wait until 10AM and the flood gates open... We went on Saturday...this past weekend in August. Everyone floods the lines on the front entrance rides....here's my thing, go to the back and work your way up front....you will be ahead of the crowd...The rides are great, you can expect to go on each attraction once and then if you want to go on again..expect to wait on longer lines as the day progresses......The food is great... Do Not Get A Cabana! We decided to splurge and get a cabana for the first time- about $200- thought it would be worth it for a small group- Boy, were we wrong!! There is 1 waiter for about 17 cabanas, no bus person, and since no outside food or drink is allowed in we were a VERY thirsty and starved group of adults and children. Literally we waited HOURS for any sort of drink/ food. Totally unacceptable. We can NOT recommend getting a cabana, and management should be ashamed of themselves!!!! read more

DO NOT GO TO SPLISH SPLASH they do NOT honor there word. I was stung by a wasp on site last summer and I am allergic so we had to leave after visiting the infirmary. We were only at the park for 15 min before this occurred.They were lovely assured us we could come back the following summer. I came with original order number and my kids who were so excited to go! We were not allowed in! They could not find any documentation attached to the original order number. Park closes at 6 get here at 2:30 after trying to resolve the issue for over 30 min they want me to pay 71 dollars per person to get in! I think it is all outrageous.... This is the most ghetto and horrible place I've ever been to. There were people skipping lines, 2 fights that I saw (more that I heard of). People were smoking weed in the parking lot. I want to start that I have been a season pass holder for several years. Our experience today was awful. We rented a cabana and prepaid for the premium h2o passes. I waited in line for an hour and forty five minutes to pick up the speed pass. We went to our dirty cabana there was no one to be found. We were there for over two hours. Not one single attendant came by or even gave us a menu. After finding someone they said they would bring a menu. No one came. Eventually, I finally found someone to bring a menu and was informed it would be 1 and 1/2 hours until we could get food. We decided to leave. Trying to return our h2o bands I was informed I would have to wait on the line again. If you want to throw away money and time this is the place for you. read more

I read some reviews previous to my visit . Some were very negative so I started wondering if this visit to the water park was a good idea . I took the advice of getting there early , we found parking close to the entrance . I had sooo much fun ! Loved the rides , yes some long lines but only after 1pm , I loved the wave pool , I loved the lazy river less . I brought my children , they enjoyed it so much . Also the food was not expensive and quite good , the churros mmmm! The dipping dots icees were phenomenal . We stayed the whole day . So much fun! ...if you can get on the slides. Went on a Friday hoping that enough people would be at work and kids would be at camps. Jokes on me, the camps bring the kids here too! I would recommend coming Monday-Thursday like other people have mentioned. Wait times were anywhere between 45 minutes to over an hour long. We were there from 10 am to 6 pm and got on maybe 6 - 7 slides. We had to leave before closing because being in the sun all day is exhausting. Splish Splash, like most other water parks, hires a lot of local kids. They're all very nice and pretty enthusiastic to be there, it makes for a good experience. I would love to give it higher ratings but for the amount that we paid for everything, we really didn't feel like we got our money's worth. Got discounted entrance fee tickets, but the money we saved on our Groupon went right to parking passes ($15) and locker fees ($18). If Splish Splash wanted to improve the experience, they could sell a set number of tickets everyday to prevent overcrowding. But they probably really only care about their bottom line. read more

Haven't been here in a couple years, and this will be the last time that I go. This wasn't a cheap day too, 3 people with the H2Go passes for each. The point is if I'm going to paying a good amount of money to bring my family to somewhere, I would hope that the place would be ran better. Heard from a worker that there was a total of 6 fights including one that my girl saw in the bathroom of two animals fighting over a bathroom stall. Then the overcrowding at most of the top of slides, the workers are definitely stressed not being able to control the crowding. No security in the parking lot with crowds smoking pot and drinking more than they should be before driving home. Many people cutting lines and the lack of respect from many people in the park. The most fun water park in New York, this is my third time to go. I bought a special ticket for Tuesday, the original price 42 on Tuesday to 36 per person. People don't much I basically every project to play 2 times.In fact, I want to give 5 stars, but in order to stop for lunch I have waited for 1 hours. There was blatant gang activity in the park, people smoking weed on line right next to my kids, you are arguing with people on every line who are trying to cut ahead and this is all a direct result of a willfully under staffed park. There is no order and you will feel unsafe here. First and last time going to Splish Splash. First long line or short line, the lines go nowhere. For whatever reason rides are shut down for a few minutes. Another big problem are parents taking 15 minutes trying to convince their crying traumatized children to do something they do not want to do. Very few park rules seem to be enforced, the lazy river advertised as a relaxing experience was overflowing with most people more interested in playing bumper boats. There was only one wave pool open and it was over crowded missing the most important part of a wave pool, waves. Zero communication about broken rides leading to long waits on wet crowded stairs that become hazardous when people get tired of waiting & walk downstairs against the flow of the line. Overall a very awful and disorganized experience that makes local church carnivals feel like a Disney experience. I should have gone to the aquarium. read more

I love amusement/water parks, so I was very excited to try out Splish Splash. As a first timer, I didn't know what to expect. Overall, my group had a fun day, but there were a few things I wanted to mention. 1. I waited in line for food for over 45 minutes. The line wasn't even that long- maybe 10 people in front of me. The employees taking orders took their sweet time with everything they did. When I was at the window, I could see pre-prepared food on the table in the kitchen. Luckily, the staff were very pleasant (although slow) and the food was surprisingly good, but I was so annoyed that I had waited 45 minutes for 4 chicken fingers and fries. 2. There were so many poorly behaved summer camp kids there. I know that is not the staff's fault, but I believe I would have had a much better time had I not be surrounded by groups and groups of 10 year olds running around and weaving between people. I know it's a park for families and kids, but that doesn't mean they should be running on slippery surfaces, trying to cut lines or being disrespectful to other guests or staff. My group went down the lazy river, which is supposed to be relaxing. Instead, I was surrounded by many kids splashing each other, bumping tubes, and racing while running within the tube (not to mention a woman WALKING down the lazy river texting and taking photos with an unprotected phone).There were also just too many people in a small space. That is not what I was expecting at all, and I would not go on that ride again for those reasons. 3. My group and I got the H2GO pass, and honestly that was the best decision we made. At first we were hesitant since they were $35 each and then a $20 refundable deposit each ON TOP of the steep park entrance price. However, we are very glad we got them, and I definitely recommend purchasing them. We were able to snack or use the bathroom during our wait times. We rode another ride while waiting in line for a different ride. I wish that the reservation kiosks would tell you how many people each ride is for. I had three people in my group, and a couple rides were for two people at a time, but we didn't know that until the three of us arrived for our reservation. 4. The entire staff seemed to be very young. They were all nice, it was just a little odd following directions from someone who looked 12. That being said, the lifeguards were absolutely phenomenal. I did not see one of them on a phone or ever take their eyes off the pool or their watch spot. Lost my kids and I was told it has to be an emergency to make an announcement over speakers. HUGE HUGE HUGE THUMBS DOWN TO Splish Splash! My son went yesterday on a trip and got hurt on the barrier reef slide. He needed 7 stitches and now has to see a plastic surgeon to ensure no permanent scarring. I call today to ask for incident report and request to see the slide where he got hurt. I was told I have to pay $15 for parking and full price for admission. I would not be allowed into the park without paying. I was told too bad and this is our policy. Mind you yesterday when I picked him up they sent him out with no shirt / shoes and said take him to hospital ASAP. When I asked for report I was told it wasn't completed. I love this place. I am a 40 year old woman and I love water slides. I only go on weekdays and if it's less than 85 degrees out. The lines stay shorter. We had a wasp bite in our group and they brought the first aid to us. I'm sure there are better ones. I'm sure some people don't like all the rules. And I'll admit the food takes way too long but it's expensive so I just stopped eating there, but that's not why I'm there. All they care about is your money. Kids working at the front ticket booth don't care about the customer, even the management does not care about the customer and they don't even try to hide it. We came here a few weeks ago. The water is always freezing, the Churros are good, Johnny Rockets is the spot to eat, Funnel cakes are a must and the Lazy River is the first ride you go on. Come here early as the locals from Long Island tend to get here around 12 noon. Personally, if you are more than a group of 3 and some of you don't wanna go on crazy rides a cabana is the way to go. PEOPLE......... UNDERWEAR IS NOT A BATHING SUIT. BRO I CAN SEE YOUR BEANS AND FRANK...........AND ITS NOTHING TO BE PROUD OF. If you forgot your suit at home (bc why would you not bring a bathing suit to a water park.....) they sell them in front. Also GUYS............ PLEASE STOP WEARING SOCKS WITH YOUR SANDELS IN THE WATER. REALLY? ITS NOT ONLY DISGUSTING BUT REALLY GHETTO........... Ladies......... I don't wanna hate but you are not at South Beach in Miami.......... dress appropriately there are children around and KNOW YOUR SIZE. Well ok it's AFTER water park season, but I already know I will be back. Sure it's overpriced, so many will have to skip pinkberry and starbucks for a few weeks (which also helps ready you for bikini season anyway) to splurge. And splurge you will. You'll splish and splash too. It's pretty f'n far out in Lawn Giland, so it is a drive and a half. You might want to consider their one day LIRR/entrance combo. Beware though that the shuttle from Ronkonkoma (sp?) leaves only twice in the morning, and once in the evening, so don't miss it or you are screwed. The location is good though, as it's not jam packed with every obnoxious schmuck from the tri-state area like Great Adventure. The crowds were amicable and mannerly, no matter the demographic, so it was nice to see people gettin along for once, likely due to the lack of the aforementioned. The lockers are a bit of a rip-off, so if you drive, keep your suit under your clothes and strip down in the lot when you get there (and yes when you leave, leave the suit on, get re-dressed and put a dry towel down on the seat) It's infinitely easier than dressing and changing in, at best, semi-private rooms or out in the open. You'll be walking barefoot and towelled for the most part (there are these tube-shaped towel-holders in front of every ride, so you can leave it there) but after an hour and several rides, it'll just be cold & wet. Like you. Go on the hotter days, and let the sun dry you off. There is every possible combination of slides - covered, uncovered, ones with floatie dealies and ones without, easy ones, death defying ones, etc. So you can pick and choose as you wish. The distribution also helps keep the crowds down as much as possible, but likely some days they are long. The huge wave pool is awesome, hands down one of my favorites, along with lazy river. That's right, because I'm f'n lazy. The food is average at best and a rip-off. If you can, keep food in a cooler (if you drove) and have a massive picnic just outside the grounds halfway through (and of course wait an hour after). The gas money you spent will definitely be less than a day of burgers fries, etc, for everyone. If you took the train/bus, try to sneak it in your locker (its a bit tough) and do the same. In either case, leave the macaroni salad at home. I spent a good 7 hours there, and there was *maybe* one song on their piped in music playlist that was just ok. Everything else was great 80's music, the top shelf sh't. No hippity hop, no crunkin', no indie bands, and no Katy Perry version of "Lose your Love" - The Outfield version only! I've been going to Splish Splash for the past 10 years. I first started coming after I saw a water park countdown show on the travel channel and this establishment got placed at #5 for the entire country. That's pretty damn high considering all the great water parks that exist in the Wisconsin Dells. I tend to go the first weekend it opens during Memorial day as they have half priced tickets and the weather is a bit cooler (low to high 70's) which keeps away all but the polar bears (like me). The lines are orders of magnitude shorter as a result. I'm talking lines where you have no more than 10 people in front of you for any ride. I have to give kudos to the management staff for having the balls to open on days like that for the hardcore crowd. This year they opened the their Bootlegger's run ride and although Memorial day weekend got rained out, I ended up coming during a heat wave weekend. Here are some tips to maximize your enjoyment of the park. They are based on the premise that people are lazy. 1) Skip the main wave pool and use the smaller one that is located near the back of the park. It tends to be less crowded due its distance from the entrance. A big advantage is that there is a shaded area where you can park your stuff on the lawn chairs. 2) The popular Bootlegger's Run has a line for singles. Use it. Break up your party if you have to. It took me an hour to ride on the regular line but only ten minutes as a single. The ride is fun as hell and being able to get on it 6 times more as a single really maximizes your return on the ticket. 3) You will find the absolute shortest lines at Shotgun falls, because it actually requires people to swim to exit and it drops you about ten feet from the air. If you can swim, this will be your mainstay. 4) Not too many people like the Abyss, because it's in a closed tube and you zip down pretty fast. This scares away all the claustrophobes. 5) The line at Cliff Diver has gotten progressively shorter every year. What the hell happened? Where are the Carpe Diemists, Yolonauts, and hardcore adventurers? There is nothing like screaming down 80 feet of fiberglass to remind you that you're alive. On 8/04/19 was my second time going to Splish Splash. The first time was amazing this time terrible!!! My husband had a family emergency, as we walked in we had to go to customer service because we had to leave we went to customer service they took his email. We've called 4 times already about reimbursement tickets and we've been given a run around and when I called yesterday they told me they are called closed for the season and there is no guarantee that we can get our tickets reimbursed. I dont want money back but I wanted to enjoy the park especially since we drove 25 miles to get there. Now we've lost the funds and the park is closed until 2020!! wow great read more

Long lines, overpriced, very crowded! Just packed and unsafe and the workers "all kids" had no control whatsoever! Especially in the kiddie zone. Rides had wait times of 2 hours or more. The parking was 15.00 the admission for adults was 42.90, for those under 48 inches it was 31.90. If the H202go pass was purchased for 45.00 additional dollars the wait time for rides was like 1 to 1.5 hours. No purpose in purchasing an express pass if you still have to wait over 1 hour. Left there after one hour and had a better times spending my coins at tangers! Never going to splish splash again. read more

I must agree with the previous review that there were WAY too many people in this itty bitty park at one time. You couldn't even walk. Each ride had a line out to the walkway that took LITERALLY 3 hours!!!! We only got on 2 rides before the park was closed because each line was 3 hours long and the line for food took an HOUR. I am not exaggerating. I wish I was. (Funny that all the negative reviews are filtered out under "reviews not currently recommended.") The 2 rides I got on we're Dinosaur falls which was a mild but fun tube ride and Bootleggers Run which had one good drop.... But that was it. It was a complete waste of energy. I'm going home (as I type) exhausted from STANDING with an achy back and feet. Please notice that any reviewer who had anything decent to say had an H2Go Pass.... It's fine. Certainly not as bad as some reviewers suggest. The rides are pretty fun, especially the Alien ride. The lines were long on the Friday I went, but not impossibly. I imagine they're much worse on the weekend, maybe not as bad on a Tuesday. Splash Landing was the best for short turn around time. The food is your typical fried park food. Not awful but overpriced. The crowds are mostly friendly and cheerful. Some reviewers complained that the crowd was a bit gangster. I guess some of them sorta are. But it's hard to be nervous about a big muscled guy with what look like gang tattoos when he's carefully holding the hand of a little 5 year old girl and helping her onto a ride. People are clearly there to relax and enjoy the rides, I saw no confrontations, no bad behavior. Cheap flip flops seemed to be the smart attire. Just take 'em off and hold on to them during the rides. My son and I went barefoot, which was fine, but there were a few hot patches that toasted our feet a bit. On the other hand, we didn't have to worry about losing the flip flops. We brought one towel and left it hanging at the exit of each ride. I also recommend a waterproof container to hold your stuff in. I got one on Amazon for maybe $20 and it safely held my wallet and a cheap camera. They let me take it on all the rides, even Cliff Diver (although I had to hold it tightly to my chest on that one). The train/bus combo from Manhattan via the LIRR worked perfectly. The bus is right there by the train and takes you right to the park. (Remember to ask for the "Splish Splash package" when buying your ticket: they'll give you a ticket for the park, 2 tickets for the train (both ways) and two tickets for the shuttle bus (both ways)) read more

This is my First Time going to a water park, I went with my old college. I Love Splish Splash. We went on alot of rides. First ride we went on was the Dragon's Den, I was nervous going down the slide at a fast speed (fear of heights) then it puts us in this bowl with a dragon in the middle, we got stuck because the person riding with me was a bit overweight, we had to force the tube to go down the other slide into a pool of water. This ride was fun but left my heart beating out of my chest. Hollywood Stunt Rider is another ride at Splish Splash, We go down this long dark black slide at a very fast speed. You can't see anything while your in a tube sliding down and sideways till you reach the bottom. Lazy River is a ride that exactly like the name, You sit on a tube and float on a huge river of water that goes in a long circle of water, very lazy and very relaxing. Mammoth River is like a basic spinning water slide in which you land in a pool of water. Shotgun Falls is a free fall drop, where you land into a 10 foot pool Dinosaur Falls is a pipeline type slide in which it has 3 slides in the bottom. I love this ride, we when on it 3 times and enjoyed it so much. the twist and turns, swinging side to side and the dinosaur squirting water at us. The Burger was horrible, but the Fries was good. I was so excited to come to Splish Splash with my family the cost of the trip $500. The Cabana was great and so was the service. The wait for rides was at least 45 minseven with a speed pass. Add insult to injury to exit the park was a nightmare another 45 mins. Definitely not worth the 2 hour ride to Calverton. I rather go to the Kartrite, Kalahari, Camel Back. The park not big enough to accommodate a busy summer day. All you do here at Splish Splash is just spend time waiting on lines. Save your money and your time. One more thing the wave pool was so packed you can barely move I'm totally disgusted. read more

Splish Splash is a great way to spend a summer day with the kids. First I must say some of the reviews are very unfair. This is a water amusement park, so yes you will have huge crowds, expensive overpriced so-so food, long lines etc. However if you plan accordingly it's a great experience. I went with my 3- 6yrs olds and an infant 10months and Nana, Aunt. Here's what we did : You can Call the day before to see if many large groups, camps or schools are going. 1) We Packed coolers with food, drink, snacks etc (You can't bring it in but it's very easy to go in and re-enter park. 2) Go early as possible. The park opens at 10am. We got there at 9:15am on a Thursday and got a great parking spot near the entrance and picnic benches under the trees. This works out perfectly for lunch and easy car access during the day (we didn't rent a locker they are $14.00-$22.00 !) 3) As soon as we got inside the park we rented the H2go pass and For us it was well worth the $40 upfront cost ($20 cost plus $20 refundable deposit upon return at the end of day.). We only got 6 bracelets though as it was going to be me, Aunt and the 3- 6yr olds on the rides but you can take turns using with others (i.e. - Nana took my bracelet and went with 6yr old on rides.) I will absolutely get it every time, the lines get ridiculous ! If you dare go on weekends, then the premium H2Go pass may be with the extra $20 because it cuts the H2Go line wait in half ! Trust me, I saw people wait well over an hour and a half for a ride (no special bracelet) especially Bootleggers Run and Alien Invasion (of course the most fun and intense rides there) 4) Don't go on the weekends it's crazy busy. We went on a Thursday. I would recommend Monday-Thursday as best times. 5) After we got our H2go pass, we immediately found lounge chairs and planted our stuff. 6) Bring /wear water shoes. The rides have cubbies for your stuff but it's a PITA and going barefoot your feet get raw after 4-6 hours of walking on concrete. Flip flops run the risk of flying off if you wear them on rides 7) Study the park map ! Wish I would've done that before hand. I got lost a few times going back to the Kiddie Pool, which is where we got our lounge chairs and put our stuff. There are maps on boards throughout the park but it's easier if you study it beforehand and pick up a print copy at the gate. We spent a decent amount of time in the Kiddie Pool area. The kids liked it a lot, they had 3 slides, swings (in the water under sprinklers ), the mushrooms with water pouring off the top. I have to say I definitely needed to push one of the kids to go on rides because they were happy just to spend the entire day there. The Kiddie Pool area has a nice mix of shady and sunny spots, which it was 90 and sunny so you needed shade that day. Also it's near bathrooms, very important with kids. We had a great time. It was a lot of effort and planning but totally doable & fun ! I can't speak for the food, we only bought ice cream & dipping dots. They have Johnny Rockets restaurant on site but we didn't go, as we were busy on rides and in the pools. I imagine it's expensive as most amusement park food is. I'll check it out next year. In response to stephanie m. and splish splash over the bootlegers run incident: So explain why the park staff never tried to help yet you say "safety is the parks main priority" that was clearly not shown in that scene as the staff didn't even care or address anything. Also as you can see from this incident the staff clearly aren't reporting any injuries to higher authority splish splash ceo or whoever is completely unaware so i don't believe your "28 years of safety" claim sorry. I believe in this situation the staff who runs bootleggers run realized they made an error and wanted to keep it as lowkey as possible so they don't get fired or whatever. read more

Now I may be biased in my opinion coming as someone who's been to a good share of water parks. But I feel like I just wasn't satisfied with my experience here very much, if at all. I came here on a Saturday in mid-August so I anticipated that it would be pretty crowded, but I was not prepared for what I experienced. We bought tickets online which made the whole entering the park process quick and efficient (just pull up the email on your phone and they have a machine to scan the barcode!) The worker at the gate was also friendly but that was it as far as nice gestures I received here from employees. As for the rides, the lines were chaotic and almost not worth waiting for. The line for the lazy river took over 40 minutes alone. The line for the food stand was even worse. There was almost no order, people sitting along the back railing of the line area were apparently also in line. I felt almost disrespected by the worker who took my order, and I was ripped off being told that I could order cheeseburgers without the combo, but turns out its the exact same price as it would be WITH the combo fries. Shouldn't a customer have been told this? Basically if you have no other choice, it isn't the worst water park in the world. The rides were okay and the kids were satisfied with the kiddy area. But after the service I experienced at the food stand, I'd recommend considering exploring other options. read more

It's a water park built in between the trees. Which was a great idea because you don't have to be under the hot summer sun all day long. You'll feel a lot more relaxed walking around the park. There's rides for everyone here. From kiddie rides to the fun and thrilling. The best bet is to go as soon as the park opens. You can manage to go on every single ride twice before the crowd shows up and trust me, that huge crowd will show up. By that time, you're going to feel like going home unless you don't mind waiting over an hour on line. The downside to this park, besides the big crowds in the afternoon, are the rude teenage employees, and the over priced food. If you try your best to avoid all 3, you will have an amazing time with your friends/family. read more
