I've been here many times. My family and I enjoy the park and all the rides. This is the first time we purchased the H2Go pass, and it was well worth it. We also rented a cabana and that was worth it too. The rides were fun. The kids love it. The park is very hilly and a lot of walking. There are many trees I. The park so it's pretty shady if you're not in a ride. However, waiting in line the sun hits you hard and getting g in the ride and into the water is a blast. I'll definitely go back. read more

Since I was including the kids in my 40th I knew we be needing more of a family friendly celebration, and I figured why not lean in. And here we are, at Splish Splash, a place I took a road trip too when I lived in Queens. Then it seemed like it was across many states. It's funny how you perceive things as a kid versus as a grown up. Now this place is no more than 30min from my parents, but I still haven't been here since becoming an adult and I'm glad we did. The place has changed so much. Better layout. More family friendly. We rented one of the luxury cabanas for the entire day. It cost $1200 and allows 32 people, but holds 40. You have to buy additional wristbands at $20 a wristband. You also still need to buy tickets. The sales office was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions and we got the group rate for our day at the park. As much fun as we had, and as great as the space was, which we plan on doing again, there needs to be more support in the Cabana areas. At one point security asked one of my guest if they should be there, and when they showed them their wristband they continued to follow up with the cabana staff, meanwhile, people kept coming into our cabana trying to use the area for themselves. Where was security then? The food and drink service also lacked. We were instructed to order off the QR code which were on signs throughout the cabana, but half of them didn't work. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food and some people didn't get their drinks. Once I expressed how long we waited, and how we felt overlooked the staff gave us a few additional canned margaritas. By this time it was late afternoon. Most of had to leave because the kids were exhausted. Moral of the story: this place has had a major glow up, I'm hoping that the staff and service follow suit as they continue to grow. Definitely, go on a weekday because it was so packed on a Saturday when I went last month in July. The rides was great. I love that they had several kiddie pools around the park. They also of course had huge slides for adults. I couldn't find areas to eat at maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. But yeah, just go on a weekday because on a Saturday, the lines were super duper long. The reason why I took off one star is because not only do you have to pay for entry into the park, but you also have to pay for parking, which is another $30 so altogether it was $60 + tax. read more

Splish Splash x NSASA Autism Event A few days ago we spent the morning at Splish Splash for their annual autism friendly event in collaboration with local foundations, and it truly means everything to us. We get early access before the crowds, before the noise, before the overwhelm... and that alone makes the whole experience doable for our family. Less lines, less sensory overload, and more time to just enjoy being together. A huge thank you to @nassausuffolkasa for not only providing our tickets and early entry, but also treating families to an amazing barbecue. That kindness goes a long way for days like this. My oldest is autistic and has loved the water since he was a baby, so this day is always one he looks forward to all year. Watching him feel free, happy, and regulated in a space like this is something I'll never take for granted. We explored new areas this time (the kids are getting so big), including the Stingray Bay section, which was such a fun new addition, they just opened that area last year! There's truly something for all ages, from splash pads for little ones to bigger slides for the older kids. If you're in New York or visiting, this is absolutely a summer must do. And if you're looking for organizations to support, NSASA is one that truly shows up for families like ours, creating inclusive events, early/late access days, fundraisers, and opportunities that make experiences like this possible. Came to splish splash for 2 days and I regret it. Splish splash is a nice waterpark but it's really dirty. Some stairs to rides have dirt and mud on the steps.. and the staff there is so mean and rude. When my daughter was getting out of her tube she accidentally fell and all the life guard did was blow the whistle at her BECAUSE SHE FELL!! Insane!!! And then while my son was waiting in line for the kiddy slide (he is about 4'8 as an 8 year old kid) and when it came to when it was his turn the lady working there rudely told my son "turn around and go back"because he couldn't go on. She didn't even explain when he asked why he couldn't go on. And also she gave my son a nasty look when he came up. And why can't my son go on the slide but adults can.?.?. Like why did she have that attitude at a KID?!?!?! I probably won't be going back after that experience! I even got a photos the life guard that was telling my son that he can't go on. 1/5. read more

I've been going to Splish splash for the past three years, and this beautiful girl named Kiana has helped me every time I go !!! She always gets me to get season passes for the whole family every year!!! She is always so kind, professional, and welcoming. Every visit is a great experience because of her. BUT I can't help but notice that after all this time she's still wearing the green shirt. I honestly would have thought she'd be in a management role by now. Of course, that's none of my business, but her work ethic, customer service, and the way she treats clients really stand out. Kiana is truly a pleasure and I love coming to the park because of her and she's a big reason I keep coming back. Splish splash is lucky to have her! read more

Wow!! So happy to have come back here!! I used to come here every year when I was little growing up. As a kid, this spot was so fun due to all of the really cool and fun rides!! There's so many kid-friendly activities to easily spend the day at. As an adult, I'm happy to say the rides and activities here are still top-notch and the park has improved so much for guests!! There's so much more benches and seating added which really helps out for my mom when she just wants to sit down and watch over our stuff. The food here tasted good for park food; got a cheese pizza, the chicken tenders and fries, and the funnel cake. The lines here were long though so I highly recommend paying extra for the H2Ogo pass so you can minimize wait time. It doesn't bring you to the front of the line per se, but it does bring you through at least of of the line for most rides where you can get the tubes. Least favorite: Dinosaur falls due to needing to grab the tubes down below and walk up a high hill + stairs. But I do understand it's one of the older rides Favorites: Shotgun Falls (I love the free fall feel and there's almost always a short line), Bootleggers Run (a great ride for 4 people, and you don't need to walk up stairs with a tube due to the mechanical conveyor belt you ride on). The classics like the Lazy River (you need to wait to get in though, and it can be long) and the Wave Pool are great pastimes when you just want to relax from rides. read more

Definitely recommend a season pass because there are so many benefits. The fee parking, you can bring guests for free (limited to 3), and discounts on foood and other things at the park. Also, with small kids would recommend getting a cabana! I do not think we would go back without one. You can leave your stuff and lock up the important things. Rides are great, even with your littles! There's a ton of splash zones for the smaller kids to enjoy also. Definitely would say it's worth also ordering the food to your cabana that way you are not worrying where to sit, but there are a ton of food options! read more

I have not been to this water park for over 15 years! I used to come with my family every 2 years in the summer. The place used to feel so big when I was young, but it is not small either now! I came on a Saturday in June two weeks after the park opened for the year because there was an opening sale for $40 admission. We arrived around opening time at 10 am and paid for the regular parking which is $30 and were able to get parking right near the entrance. Since we bought tickets online already, we did not have to wait on the line for tickets. We went straight to security in which we went through metal detectors and employees searched our bags. They have a no food policy, but sealed water bottles are ok. We brought 6-7 water bottles for 4 people and that lasted us the day. I shared a large locker amongst 4 people for the whole day for $25. The locker is not that big but is suitable for two beach bags. You can set the combination you want and return whenever you want. Everything looks the same, if not, more themed. The newest part that I don't recognize is the Kahuna Bay Pool where the waves are activated every 30 minutes or so. I went on all the rides, even the ones my parents used to not let me go on and I can't swim! They were all fun and different. Definitely got a lot of water in my nose and throat by the end of the day. My favorites were the Alien Invasion, Dragon's Den, and the Hyperlite. There are changing rooms and I remember there used to be indoor showers too, but they no longer have that. As for the food, the taco shell was stale but the inside was good. The Mexican fries are average. The burger was good. The fried chicken was burnt and way too dry. And the frozen drink at the taco place was delicious! For dessert, we shared a churros which was perfect. It's good, but a bit hard for my liking. A very fun day, and hope to be back in a few years! read more

I did enjoy myself but it was not consistent for the whole day. Let me say people(adults/partents/grown folks) are wild!! The fact that people was cutting the lines and then getting mad when it was called out is crazy!! The park employees, kids who seem scared to tell people to get in line. These people did not have the H2GO pass either. The dinosaur slide line cutting was the worst.The other rides were ok but I suggest spend the money on the go pass or be prepared to be highly annoyed with all the line cutting. The food was mediocre and highly over priced. They have a Johnny Rockets, tacos, pizza and varies sweet items all over the park. They charge an extra $10 for a better parking spot, but if you get there when they open you're right in the front close enough to the entrance. A stuffed animal is $30! A fridge magnet is $9.99! The food was expensive and the fries were good, but not like Johnny Rockets tastes. My kids had a blast! The lines weren't terrible. There was an active hornets nest under the bridge of the lazy River. I reported it to two different staff members. No reusable water bottle. Only those disposable UNOPENED water bottle allowed. Once inside, you can open the bottle and refill at water fountain as needed. All rides are rated from 1-5 base on thrill level. Lazy River is a 1. Kids like the Dinosaur Fall ride with tubes. Hyperlight is a closed tube with music and light. Locker available with own code fir unlimited one day access: 3 sizes $15-$25 a day. Food are theme park price. $10.99 a funnel cake. $8.99 for dipping dots ice cream. Seeing as I haven't been here for over 20 years we wanted to take our toddler. Boy oh boy did we have a great time ... there are so many activities for the little ones , plus endless amount of shades places to get a break from the sun. The food carts and food court area were really good . The parking was great we paid the extra $10 for premier parking so we were so close to the front door . The lines on the rides weren't terrible either . I hadn't been here in like 25 years and was expecting to be miserable with crowds and lines and stuff. I was incredibly surprised. I sunny know if I just got it right but we basically had no lines at all. The longest wait was about 20 minutes because one of two slides was down. We went on everything several times. I also loved how things were just tucked among the trees and put into hills so the stairs didn't feel as long. It wasn't crowded on a Friday in June with a high of 76. I saw no garbage like people complain about. Bathrooms were fine. Food was what you'd expect. The staff actually paid attention and I watched a few life guards jump in just in case. The park is designed for you to buy the H2Go pass (never buy the elite pass the lines are never that long) & It's ALOT of walking. If u have a SPECIAL NEEDS child GET THE PASS. You need to plan out what you're going to do in this park because you'll walk around aimlessly wasting time trying to figure out what to do. Nothing is order that makes sense. My friends and I made the long trek to Splish Splash this past Saturday, which was the hottest day of the summer so far! The good: Staff are super friendly and work hard. The rides are super fun and I had a great time. Relatively clean water and bathrooms were moderately clean. The bad: lines were tremendously long to go on any rides, long lines for women's restroom all day. The ugly: There was a fist fight waiting on line to get tickets by the entrance and security didn't break it up too fast. Tons of people cutting in line, every ride we waited on anywhere from 10-25+ people went in front of us, no security to maintain order. Once we were done for the day it took us 45 minutes just to leave the damn park and get on the road with no one directing traffic, it was a total shit show. Would I go back? Everything at Splish Slash is great EXCEPT for "Jill" the manager in the light blue shirt. She accused me in front of a multitude of patrons of my card declining when it was their machine system. (Apparently they were having an issue with Mastercards) She went as far as telling me I was traveling from far and didn't inform my bank... WRONG I'm a local patron. She even went further to outline that I could have a fraud block. I had to thru gritted teeth Inform her that I have fraud alerts and would haven gotten a text as I WORK AT THE BANK! The thing is I exhibited SUPREME patience while being embarrassed while my two kids watched. I suggested she try another register and BOOM my card worked fine. No apologies no nothing just me standing their feeling like I wasn't treated with excellent customer service while spending hundreds of dollars there. As the first thing to happen on the walk in while trying to buy a water proof case for my phone I was not please. The park was great. The line waits were as expected. The my children enjoyed the rides. Top attractions were the Alien, the Lazy River and the wave pool. We couldn't find funnel cake but they had burgers, Frank's, chicken sandwiches and sodas and ice cream. One little gem is the small bar they had it was expensive but as a parent it was nice to have a glass of Rose in the midst of running from ride to ride with the kids. I think they have 2 wave pools but one was closed. I like sharing this place with my kids since I used to come as a kid. Updated review in reference to July 19th 2022 visit ----- So, I can see why people have said Splash Splash has gone down hill. It has certainly take certain turns for the worse, although I wouldn't say it's done a nose dive. The two major things that I noticed during my last visit were that the staff seemed less knowledgable than in past years and the premises were not as clean. The lines were also significantly longer than in prior years, but there were several new rides so I personally feel like that's a fair tradeoff. Popular amusement parks have lines, it's just what it is. I suspect that some of their issues this season, have to do with not being able to open during 2020. They staff a lot of teenagers, who eventually go off to college. My guess is they are likely still dealing with less experienced staff because a lot of the people who'd have been working their three summers, might have only worked twice or one, leaving them to have to train more new people. All and all, it was still good experience in my book. read more

Thrilling, fun, exciting. I haven't been to Splish Splash in over 15 years and it was amazing. I came here with a friend just yesterday end it was like experiencing it for the first time. There are a few new attractions that they installed including a water roller coaster flume type of ride and a new wave pool. The ambiance is over all friendly and just a great vibe over all. The only downsides is that food is pricey ($21 for chicken tenders, fries and bev) and it may be better to go on a warmer 80 degree day or so (I think it was around 70-75 degrees and maybe a little too much shaded area), But besides that, an amazing water park to spend the day with family or friends. read more

Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with Ashleigh, The Manager, This young lady could easily become my best friend, her mannerism was to die for, kind hearted, never thought I asked silly questions and she had the patience of a saint, so I said to myself, these are the people that make me want to bring my business to them and that is just what I did, my clients are all in wheelchairs and I could not thank Ashleigh enough for how she carried herself in representing Splish Splash, I look forward to meeting Ashleigh and seeing Imani again, love you both ladies. The only complaint that I have is the chicken sandwich that I ate was extremely dry I would not recommend it, other than that everything was good to go and the wait time for rides didn't take long. Get ready to stand in the queue for 1.5 to 2 hours for each ride if you are coming during weekend and not planning to buy the fast pass. The operation was extremely slow, with wasted capacity and people cutting the lines. They obviously can't handle the amount of people that they are taking in, but they don't care and keep selling the tickets. The rides are very short, mostly less than 10 seconds and you are done. It's not worth the 2-hour wait for sure. I've been to other water parks that are designed so much better and customer-centric. I understand that this is the biggest water park in Long Island and not crazily far away from NYC, but I won't recommend it to anyone unless you are willing to spend double the price to pay for the fast pass and stuck with thousands of people everywhere. read more

There's so many rides for kids of all ages and plenty for us adults as well. I wish the parking was a little better so you're not walking miles back and the food prices weren't so high. DONT EAT HERE. Very expensive, and awful food prep. Pack a cooler. Leave, use picnic tables in parking lot and go back. The water park is fun. We live local so we get season passes. Rarely do we come for day. Usually a few hours and leave, but always pack a cooler of drinks, snacks and lunch unless we come near closing. This ONE time, came at 3pm and at 5pm wanted a snack. Had chicken fingers and fries from Johnny Rockets there and got sick from them. Both me and my daughter. Ridiculous price. Food was barely warm. Fries were clearly made much earlier. So don't eat there. Drinks, desserts..overpriced but OK. Food? Steer clear. It's a water park you're here for that. And let's face it..not many amusement park options on Long Island. On the east end, this is it. It's fun but it's a free for all because it's mostly kids (teens & college kids) working there so security and crowd control are kind of a joke. People visiting are so disrespectful and don't listen, or they don't understand what the staff are trying to tell them. This a common theme EVERY TIME we come. Again, it's about the rides. I really can't complain, it was an enjoyable experience and I had a pretty good time! However... I'd avoid going on the weekends at all costs. There wasn't a single ride with a wait under 45 minutes, and you could forget about the even remotely popular ones. It was pretty overcrowded and three times rides broke down, leaving us stuck in a three hour wait. I imagine the weekday would be much more enjoyable. Make sure to beware of the $30 parking fee! The overpriced food is expected but that really snuck up on me, given the ticket prices. Note that the park is cashless as well! Awful experience!! DO NOT WASTE YOIR TIME AND MONEY HERE. For starts the lines are insane even on weekdays. If you don't buy the quadrillion dollar fast pass you will be waiting for hours! The place is absolutely disgusting and it so gross everywhere you go. Lastly the staff are extremely rude. This one lady on dinosaur falls was causing so many issues. She was being bossy and yelling at my child for yelling he was standing on the platform and yelling at him that he took a float. They need the float and all the kids in front of him where simply taking them for the ride. She hunted him down and yelled at him and threatened to kick him out. She was NOT a supervisor or head personnel. I was absolutely in shock on how she treated the CUSTOMER as he was waking away she said awful things about him. Spending the day at Splash Splash with my 13 year old Birthday girl. It's been a while since coming but this was my first time renting a cabana. I'm getting old and can't keep up with the youngsters anymore so I thought it would be a good work around. You need to check in to the left of the ticket booths, you will receive a different color wristband that allows you to enter the cabana area. The cabana was located between the Big Kahuna Bay and Jonny Rockets. It had 4 chairs a table under a tin roof for shade, a mini fridge with 6 bottles of cold water a small locker just to put valuables in and 4 lounge chairs placed in the sun. I was happy to find out that waitress service is provided but disappointed when finding out they do not accept food vouchers I had already purchased. It would be nice for the website to mention this. This would have been a great advantage if you have ever waited on the food lines here at splish splash you know how stressful just getting a burger and fries can be. I refused to let my 6 vouchers I had already purchased go to waste so I did have to wait on the Jonny Rockets line over 35 min and believe me when I say it was exhausting just to get some food that was sub par. The server at the cabana also did inform me that their food is prepared by their own kitchen, you get it hot and fast. Why not just rub salt in my wounds. You can also order an alcoholic beverage if you so choose. A few things that made me unhappy about the cabana is the bird poop on the lounge chairs. Really gross, we pointed it out to the staff and asked them to clean them or replace with different ones which that did but why do I have to ask, they have eyes and could clearly see there was crap all over them. The table inside was filthy, the chairs were sticky perhaps from soda spillage from a previous patron, the refrigerator had sand all over the top as well as inside stuck to the water bottles. I was very disappointed with my $200.00 purchase. Is it really asking to much to take 5 minutes to clean up for the next guests. This was after spending almost $300.00 for the 6 of us to get in and don't forget another $20.00 just to park and $90.00 on 6 food vouchers. Over $600.00 for the day and of course there was a thunderstorm at 5:00 and they closed the park and rushed us out early. I know the rain was not their fault but the way they were rushing us out was almost harassment because we were waiting at the cabana for the girls to get back and they wouldn't let them back up to the cabana. They herded them to the front of the park and they did not have their phones of course and expected us to carry out all the stuff. I refused and they finally had no choice but to escort the girls back to the cabana to help gather everything. Not the stellar day I had hoped for. One final gripe is they no longer have the SMILE people at the Park that take your picture and this was something I was so looking forward to. A few group pictures with my birthday girl and all her friends on the rides was one of the reasons we choose Splish splash over Wild Play... So so disappointing. read more

Came to splish splash with my family and friends on 7/30/23 (a Sunday) and I regret it so much. I purchase a gold pass and used up both 2 passes that day and even Rented a cabana at the kiddie cove area. First off, there's at least 10 groups coming to our cabana thinking it's a free for all space trying to sit at our lounger or asking if those loungers are taken and we have to keep telling people this area is for reservations only! It is annoying that when we come back to our cabana just to see people sitting at our lounger which is unfair as we paid for the cabana for the day! On top of that, the grandpa next to our cabana kept smoking non stop standing behind the cabana next to the parking area thinking it's ok to smoke. I thought Splish splash has a no smoking policy but I see people smoking all around the park, even in the kiddie area and right next to our cabana when we have a 1 year old, 4 year old and a 5 year old! This is ridiculous! I wasted Money purchasing the gold pass and using up both passes and wasting money on a cabana for a stressful day at splish splash.
