Yesterday, I messaged Bug Science and got a reply from Adam in minutes. Within the hour of messaging through Yelp I was put on the schedule for a free inspection and today (2/13/24) Jess came in with a flashlight and all the knowledge. I am grateful for the inspection and solid customer service. I was told the poop looks old. Although birds are able to access the roof so rodents could potentially too, that's a whole different ball game considering I hear them in the walls. Anyway, I highly recommend Bug Science. I learned a lot, thank you!!

Don't bother looking anywhere else! Seville Pest Control is exactly what I needed in a pest…read morecontrol company. Their customer service is amazing and I pay only $35 a month to get my house sprayed. When I moved into my new house about 6 months ago I saw baby scorpions everywhere outside and was absolutely terrified. Seville came out for the initial spray and warned me that there may be an increase in scorpions during the initial flush. Not only was there no increase, but I haven't seen a single scorpion since! The best part about Seville's service is that they send me a text message the day before they are coming with a window of time of arrival with a friendly reminder to leave gates unlocked (which is great because I always forget!). I also have a dog and the solution they use has not been harmful to him at all.

Our swimming pool has been unusable all summer due to buzzing bee-like creatures - over a dozen of…read morethem hovering over the pool's surface all day, every day. I am not particularly afraid of insects - I can crush a cockroach or squish a scorpion - but an aggressive airborne army is more than I can handle. My "hornets in Tempe pool" Google search sent me to Hornets Pest Control, and I am so incredibly grateful. The owner, Ray, is responsive, polite and accommodating. On the day of our appointment, he arrived exactly on time and went to work immediately. He assessed the pool area and investigated our thick hedges before making a quick change into protective gear. Less than five minutes later, he was standing at our sliding glass door holding an enormous wasp's nest (had I been inclined to grasp the thing, I would have needed both hands.) The honeycombs were oozing with white, cocooning larvae. With all of those baby wasps on the way, our "bee" problem would have quickly become a dangerous natural disaster if Ray had not come to the rescue. He explained the deterrent strips he placed in the shrubs and around the infested area, and warned that we might see a few die hard "worker wasps" returning to their home base over the next few days, but they would relocate quickly. Sure enough, five days later, we were - and remain! - completely wasp free. For an incredibly reasonable fee, Ray gave us back our beautiful backyard. He is a pure professional and absolute expert. If you have pests and need the problem solved - quickly and completely on the first visit - don't waste your time calling anyone else.

His attention to detail and level of service were excellent. I definitely recommend Ray and Hornets Pest Control for anyone needing pest control services!

Conrad, who is our go-to guy, said that if we had any problems after spraying, to give him a call and sure enough, we had a few lone crickets outside our bedroom window, which made it difficult to sleep LOL. He was there the next morning and voila, peace and quiet! We've also had a problem with pigeons and he came out and did an assessment. He started with the place where they were roosting and then worked his way across the roof. He set up a program where we could either do everything at once or take it in steps to see if that would remedy the problem. Every time he has talked to us, it has been an absolutely no pressure situation and his Solutions have been spot-on. We would not think of using any other company except for Anteater.

Once he understood our issues, he was very efficient and got right to work. He treated every room inside the home and then hit the outside. I had left the spider webs so he could see the bad areas, and after treatment he removed all the webs on my property. When finished he explained all the precautions I should take to minimize my pest problems which saves me money having to call them all the time. I have made the decision to use them on a monthly basis just to keep the critters down to a minimum. Of course I don't know the results yet as this was our first treatment, however I'm confident that if I had issues that he would return to take care of it. I understand bugs don't just die instantly. He was right as there were still a few spiders and a scorpion or two that didn't die. Things were great for a couple month till the bugs reestabisued so I called again for service and the same tech was out a day later. That visit was great and I told him I'd keep an eye out for anything still moving in the next week and a half. A few things were still not dead so I scheduled what I thought was the free two week follow up only to find out later I was billed for the visit. I explained this to the office assistant via text and she simply said I'm sorry for the miscommunication but the follow up sprays are only for monthly customers. I paid the invoice and said fair well to this company that can't seem to be clear with its customers and seems to not value them enough to care. Edit: since posting the customer service department has reached out and apologized for the miscommunication and refunded the fee. Hoping this will help with future communication from what was an otherwise good experience.)
