Came to Splash Poke for my first ever Poke Bowl. The eatery is clean, every single ingredient was fresh, and the attendants were very professional. I enjoyed how they present you with a menu sheet, in order to select your four options (base, protein, sauces, and toppings). You circle your selections, hand it back to the attendant, and they quickly prepare your bowl. I was very impressed with the entire process. The attendants helped us with the many questions and I enjoyed all of the choices for the toppings. Every single bite of this bowl was amazing. The Pickled Ginger topping is a MUST. Gotta bump my review up to 5 stars because I've eaten here 3 times within the past month. I tried the Aloha 808 and Sweet Heat bowls, both of which were DELICIOUS. The quality is consistently on point and the fish is fresh. You really can't go wrong with picking any one of their signature bowls. I'm gonna have to try them all! We got a Door Dash gift card and had never used delivery services. We much prefer to call the store directly and use their own delivery people. It keeps more money in the small business. However, we decided to use it to get Poke Bowls from Splash. The menu was easy to navigate in the DD app, and my husband and I put together two 3-Protein Bowls from a staggering array of proteins, bases, add-ins, toppings, dressings etc. What arrived 30 minutes later cemented the fact we will again order from, and soon, going, to Splash Poke. Geez -- the fish was screamingly fresh and abundant. We got tuna, salmon and red snapper. The snapper, as usual, was a bit chewy, but the flavor was excellent. We had a variety of add-ins and toppers and there are things I will do better next time: 1. 2 proteins instead of 3 2. A starchy base, like quinoa, which is very healthy. The salad was excellent and fresh, but it got crowded out by the insane add-ins. 3. Less add-ins and toppings. Our enthusiasm to try everything led to...wayyyyy too much food, so we had breakfast the next day lol. 4. Dressings/Sauces on the side. That way, we try each one without them cancelling out the other. PS The Splash Sauce, the Ginger Sauce, actually, ANY of them is full-on winner. Go. Or get it delivered. We got Taro milk, passion fruit green tea and honey green tea. They also had a fresh bar on the side with fish and other ingredients for a poke bar. We decided to get a grilled teriyaki chicken poke bowl since my friend does not eat fish, but I must say that it was absolutely delicious! Fish is always super fresh and "Summer" who runs the place has a "belly salmon"? It's a softer more flavorful salmon. I get 4 proteins and the sauces are always great. What happened...? On my recent to-go order, I got the same three way bowl and boy oh boy... I got a completely different bowl than last time. Refer to my previous review, but back then I had many more toppings and everything was dressed nicely in unami shoyu sauce. This time? Much fewer topping choices (no mango, no crab salad, etc.) and the guy put a drip of shoyu and then drenched it in an avalanche of sriracha mayo. I tried to not be rude but I think my jaw dropped open. I didn't say anything because, I thought wait a minute, can this still be good? Was I hallucinating about how it looked last time? Am I confused? When I opened the bowl at home, I realized that I wasn't confused. This bowl has devolved into a far worse poke. While it's still o-kay tasting, it just lacked balance as that s-mayo just eff'd with subtle taste of the ingredients. That's not the Japanese way nor the tasty way, Splash. Let your splash be for the waters your fish come from, but not the sauce to ingredient ratio. read more

I first tried this poke spot about a year ago and thought their portions and toppings were great but it was a little dry due to the lack of sauce. It was repeatedly dry each time for maybe 5 or 6 orders so we started stocking our own sauce. We don't like it drenched but dry poke is no good. But suddenly on our last two orders, we were getting much more sauce then we asked for. A little too much but I guess you can't say they are not listening lol. Dispute some of the short comings, we still like the poke here. The cheese cake is pretty good too but do know they are tiny (each slice is about the size of a fork). They should really call these mini cakes but at two slices for $6, it's not a bad value. read more

The lady at the front always tells customers to order from their website (through ChowNow) instead of DoorDash or Uber. I usually build my own bowl with 2 or 3 scoops of protein - I've tried salmon, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, scallops. Always fresh! They offer a decent selection of toppings and sauces as well. I do find their Sriracha Aioli spicier than other poke places I've had. They didn't skimp out on anything inside my burrito and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Even the ponzu sauce I asked for wasn't overpowering. In fact, all the flavors were balanced just the way I like it! And it gets served with tortilla chips... no clue why but they actually went well with the burrito! Not all Poke places have this and this is something I rather have than rice or salad. They have a wider variety of fishes and have spicy tuna as well as spicy salmon which is a plus. As I'm reading an earlier review about the amount of rice given, my sister actually enjoys it. So I guess, that is a personal preference. Another thing I wanted to add is three proteins makes a big difference than two proteins in your bowl. Apparently they keep it in a tank with certain type of gas. However people with sensitive taste buds can taste the bitterness/sourness to the fish. I never really noticed that at other places but did so here. What I do like about Splash poke is their half and half option! How come no other poke locations do that? From now on I want to order my poke with half rice and half salad. Secondly you get unlimited choice of toppings. Craving everything? Go for it. They only charge extra for avocados.
