THE BEST POKE SPOT hands down! Their spicy tuna is really good. I also love their shrimp and crab salad combo. I love doing the build your own, and love adding the pickled radish, mango , cashews , sweet chili, etc to the bowl. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Not much space to sit, more stools/table concept.

Poke Crew is one of my go-to spots for a poke bowl. For those who have never had poke, it's basically like a Hawaiian version of Chipotle with raw fish. You can build your own bowl or choose from a signature menu with pre-selected ingredients. They have a large variety of toppings and sauces for every taste palette. It's around ~$15 for a bowl, which is reasonable. They let you choose 2 bases, 2 proteins, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, and 4 garnishes. My favorite signature item is the Philly Bowl. It includes smoked salmon, avocado, cucumber, ginger, red onion, scallion, everything bagel spice, wasabi cream cheese, nori, and ponzu sauce. The fish is fresh and chopped into large chunks. There's a perfect balance of flavors. I also really like their iced tea fruit infusions. They brew their tea onsite and use fresh fruit. It's so refreshing! It's located on Palisades Ave in Englewood, NJ so angled parking can be a bit of a pain during rush hours. The interior is clean and bright with bar seating. Give them a try!

Double Dragon Poke w/ Lettuce, Crab Meat w/ Kale Noodles, Tofu Avocado w/ Kale Noodles

Just had a day trip to New Jersey with family last weekend. Glad to know there are plenty of decent restaurants and cafés along the Pallisade Avenue in Englewood. Poke Crew is very clean and bright. I got my bowls very quickly and they looked all colorful. You can build your own bowls if the menu doesnt not fit your flavors. Highly recommended for those pursuing efficiency and tasty meals.‍ *Double Dragon w/ Lettuce The sauce of Double Dragon was quite spicy but it matched well with tuna and salmon, yet I would prefer a lighter sauce like wasabi or almond sauce in order to taste the freshness or fish and veggies. * Crab Salad w/ Kale Noodles * Tofu Avocado w/ Kale Noodles Kale noodles were amazing - no carbs option for those who are on keto diet. Mixing the crabmeat, fishroes and kale noodles hit the spot tremendously well. Will definitely reorder this if I visit Poke Crew again. My Recommendations: Crab Salad w/ Kale Noodles Worth Returning? Yes

Awesome poke for the price in my opinion. They give you a pretty good amount of fish and the chunks are huge compared to places in manhattan and Splash (no hate on Splash though). No fishiness on the salmon which I loved. Loved the tamago, shiso, and seaweed salad. Only thing was some of my brown rice was really hard and I hurt my tooth a little because I was eating so fast. But I didn't mind that so much because I like my rice on the chewier side anyways.

The freshest ingredients with so many bowl options and you can even make your bowls. Loved it here and staff were so nice and helpful.

Service was quick. Ambience was okay. Very specious and clean. I had a double dragon, which is sort of a spicy poke and its sauce was a bit too much. Due to its spiciness. It was tasty, but hardly tasted the flavor of salmon and tuna. If you want to enjoy the flavor of fish, you might want to go with non-spicy ones.

Best poke in the area. As a frequent customer from day 1/their grand opening, it's great to see their success and growth over the years, with their expansion to Closter Plaza (and the addition of boba to their menu!) I have a severe nut/sesame allergy and they've always been super accommodating for my complicated orders :) Management is very friendly and their food is always fresh. Highly recommend, always & forever!

Very efficient bright clean place. Should've taken a pic. Service was quick built my own poke bowl. Lots of options although other similar places have unlimited options. Here not so but still it was all very good and fresh. Recommend it.

Not a fan. There was a preset scallop bowl special noted on a chalkboard away from the the main menu which I decided to try along with extra salmon. I wasn't asked what kind of rice and was given white rice which was fine. The quantity of food was good although that was my expectation as my bowl was close to $20 with the additional protein. The quality of the salmon was good but the bay scallops were really bland and lacked flavor. The sauces that came with my bowl wasn't strong enough to balance out the lack of flavor. A stronger sauce or some varying texture crispy/fried component to balance the bland scallops would have been ideal. I ended up leaving some of the bowl uneaten as a result. How you place an order was a bit confusing. I wasn't really sure where to order as the menu board up top was away from where you actually place your order. As I stood looking at the menu board it was not clearly evident that where you placed your order was somewhere else. The service was really curt but quick once I ordered. "Know what you want?", "Togo?" and "No" was essentially the only words I got from two different employees. I stood for a bit waiting for some acknowledgement before I was able to order.

TLDR: tasty and quality poke. Online ordering was easy to follow. Would order again! Tuesday Dinner (7:00pm)Order for 4 ~~~~~FOOD~~~~~ *Build Your Own ($13) - large pieces of salmon - generous serving of cilantro and scallion; had to take some out - white rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly - not sure if they forgot to add my second sauce (ponzu soy), or if I just didn't see or taste it - yuzu kosho mayo added a good citrus flavor and brightness - the ichimi added a nice kick to cut through everything - the other 3 orders were another build-your-own, double dragon, and coconut chicken - everyone loved their bowls and said they'd order from here again!

    Sunshine Poke Bowl

Wanted to give this place a higher review, but unfortunately customer service left us no choice. My wife and I drove to Engelwood to get poke - and were looking forward to this first-time experience. Our server herself was very amicable. I ordered the double dragon bowl, which was really good. My wife ordered the sunshine bowl. Her bowl comes with avocado as one of the components. As this was being made, we noticed the avocado was very oxidized. Being the very first customers of the day, it was clear this was old - so we asked if we could have fresh avocado. Another fellow, who appears to be the manager came over, he proceeded to tell us there is nothing wrong with it. Politely we said, "no - this is oxidized - and it is not fresh." After he tried a second time to somehow convince us we don't understand the basic workings of an avocado, he stopped mid-sentence and aggressively pulled the avocado off - throwing the bad avocado off in the garbage and left the bowl incomplete. He the. THREW the prep bowl down (to the point where it made an abnormally large noise due to the aggressive throwing of the bowl) and walked away - leaving it to his employee to finish the process of completing our order!! It was like watching a grown man throw a temper tantrum... Honestly, we were so stunned by the utter lack of basic professionalism that we just paid for the bowls and left the issue unresolved. We would have left the restaurant, but had driven nearly 40 minutes - bypassing several of poke stores to come to this one because of the positive reviews... How wrong we were. For a restaurant concept which prides itself on freshness of product, this exchange was a poor reflection on this business. Having literally unlocked the door for us to come in at the start of the day, one would assume a modicum of freshness. Even putting a bit of an acid like lemon on would preserve avocados - or cutting this fresh to order. There were so many ways he could have mitigated this issue to make things right. Sadly, either this guy's standards of freshness are extremely low (which concerns me because we also were eating raw fish!) or he needs some very basic training on what fresh produce looks like. Either way, his outburst and utter lack of interest in basic hospitality is distressing. A little bit of basic emotional intelligence and quality control would go a long way here... Maybe they don't need to think about these issues - but I dare say if this type of attitude continues, it won't be long before these doors close. I hope there will be some serious reflection and adjustments of attitude and commitment to keeping things fresh. Hoping someone will be able to chat to this guy. I think the concept is great. Some basic coaching in customer service would be needed if this guy is going to be managing this restaurant.

*Quarantine Takeout Review* When you want something light and refreshing, but filling (unlike a salad), I suggest a poke bowl from poke crew! Thank you for being open and bringing out my takeout to my car! I ordered a bowl with zucchini noodles because rice can be too heavy sometimes. & the noodles were great!! Not soggy and portioned well. All other ingredients they have are fresh and yummy as well.

Great poke bowls with a wide variety of sauces, I recommend the honey pineapple sauce. They also have a nice selection of bowls and if you can't decide on one, you can build your own :). We took our order to go, but they will allow 8 people in the restaurant at a time. They allow inside dining. Bench seating along the windows. We took our bowls to the palisade overlook which was five minutes away. Metered Parking wasn't hard to find.

Small size was plenty as it had 7 shrimp over sticky rice with some mixed vegetables in a cheesy buttery sauce. It had nice flavor. Also tried was the Hawaiian Ahi Bowl ( poke) which had plenty of fresh tuna with same veggies. Again a small size was plenty. Lastly I tried the Musubi which is a slice of Spam on top of a bar of cooked sticky rice with seaweed paper around it to get it together. Hawaii has been the # consumer of Spam for many years so I had to give it a try. The salty, smokey flavor of the "meat" along with he sticky rice was a good combo, but the seaweed wrap just gave it a slight fishy taste I could do without.
