The place has really colorful, fun décor and a relaxed vibe that makes it feel welcoming right when you walk in. They had great music playing and the atmosphere was comfortable with plenty of seating options -- booths, tables, and space for families who were clearly enjoying dinner together. One thing I really liked about Spitz is the variety of fresh Mediterranean offerings, from gyros and wraps to hearty salads and bowls. It's also great that almost everything can be customized to be vegetarian or vegan, which makes it a great option for different dietary preferences. I ordered one of their salads and it was fantastic -- packed with quinoa, chicken, cabbage, corn, pickled onions, and cucumber. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and the combination of textures and flavors was delicious. My fiancé ordered the Mediterranean wrap with beef and lamb. He was a little hesitant at first since Mediterranean food isn't something he usually orders, but he ended up really enjoying it. We were nearby for a family little league game and thought we'd stop in. Very good! The service was fast and friendly. The food was very tasty. Giant portions, enough for lunch the next day. Get the quinoa salad as a side, very good! My one complaint is that the wrap I got was hard to unwrap from the waxed paper, it really stuck to the grill mark spots and smelled like a burt candle. I usually go to the Spitz location in Frisco, however I've been here a couple of times and the quality and consistency is just as good. When I asked they said they're connected in ownership to that location. The service is always good. They're very patient when you're ordering and welcoming. I'm a regular to Spitz so I have my go to orders. I get the Spitz Gyro with mixed meat which is chicken and gyro meat..this is very tasty all the ingredients come to together well. I get my wife the Berliner Bowl, which she loves and says is always fresh and flavorful. I recently tried the full pound of wings. Imthe wings were plentiful and friends perfectly. We came on a weekday night so the place was quiet but still had 2-3 tables occupied. My sister and I shared a Street Cart Doner Wrap Combo Meal, and it was enough for 2 people! They really piled the fries high, and the dip that came paired well with it. I loved how crispy it was! While the wrap was very flavorful, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the flavor profiles. I felt like some stuff overpowered the beef and lamb that I couldn't really appreciate it. We paid $24 total with the meal and tip, and that was more than most places for just one meal! It's the garlic aioli that made everything taste really good the only thing is that the Spitz Gyro is a bit on the higher sodium side. One employee eventually noticed us and casually waved us off with a "hold on," then continued to wander around the dining room wearing earbuds, seemingly disengaged and uninterested. After waiting several minutes with no further acknowledgment, I decided to leave. It was clear that customer service wasn't a priority. First impressions matter, and this one made it easy for me to decide not to return. overdue review but since this place has opened, my husband and i have been once/week! this is exactly what prosper needed: fun food in a quick service atmosphere! parking is easy, it's a strip mall. super casual. once you enter you can grab a menu to review your options, most of which show pictures so you know what you're in for! i like the visuals. firstly, the fries are insane - do not skip them! my husband and i share the regular size and we can finish it if we're really hungry, otherwise there are some leftovers. the dipping sauce that comes with the fries is also incredible and we pay extra for the tzatziki sauce just to have another dipping option. they have a plethora of sauces if those two aren't your thing though. on our first visit, they treated us to all the sauces so we could find what we liked - so kind! i order the zesty feta wrap without cucumbers (not much of a cucumber person minus tzakiki). the wrap comes fully loaded, wrapped nicely to hold it all in. be careful as you tear into the wrapping so you don't rip into the wrap. i've ordered this every time i've gone - the banana peppers really have a nice zing to em. my husband has ordered both the gyro and the spitz gyro and loved em both. he would pick spitz gyro because it has fries in it - yes, the fries are so good you'll want em twice!! service is perfect - it is a fast service type place where you can sit down or get to-go. every time we have gone the guys at the register have been kind and got our order correct. also, they have a rewards program, which we wish we knew about sooner given all the times we've gone! anyhoo, highly recommend. try what we get and i promise you'll love it but also looking forward to trying their desserts! read more
