Great Mediterranean spot! I chose the medi bowl and it was great - solid portions, tender chicken, and lots of colorful toppings. The sauce was great and the crispy chickpeas were an excellent addition. Service was friendly and helpful, and I loved the quirky, colorful vibes inside. There is also patio seating if you'd like to enjoy your meal outside!

Spitz has been on my list for a long time now and they had a summer promotion where your first online order on the app is 50% off. I took this opportunity to try them at their Plano location. I got their street cart fries with a mix of sweet potato waffle and regular fries. These loaded fries are topped with garlic aioli, feta, onion, green pepper, tomato, olives, and pepperoncini. Everything about this was solid. The fries were hot and there was a drool inducing smell coming from the box before I even got a hold of it. The extra toppings brighten the fries a lot and go well together. I would definitely get this again

Torn between a 3-4 stars so I'll just put a conservative 3 for now. Dined with my bf for the first time and needed a quick lunch. This place was on my list to try so we made our way here and the environment of the restaurant looks pretty awesome. It's bright and colourful with lots of cool art decorating the place. Cashier was nice and ordering was a breeze. We got a mango mojito, coke, two wraps- added corn on one and falafel with a side of pita on the other. My wrap came out quick and nicely done! It was a nice portion size of meat but the mango mojito was gross. It tasted flat, no mint was muddled and I was extremely disappointed. I switched it out for a peach margarita instead and although it was better, it just didn't taste right. Too sweet. My bf was disappointed. His wrap didn't have much meat and he opened the wrap to see how the portion size were and was disappointed. Too much veggies. He felt it was a filler food without protein and I agreed. Side of pita was good. I think it's fried but still, really tasty. It came with a small side of hummus but we felt it was too small. We had extra pita and no hummus leftover. We paid about $50+ for all of it. To me, it's on the pricier side given the disappointment, not so sure we'd return. My partner said no to returning unless I wanted to come back again. I may return in the future but won't be ordering the drinks anymore. Still, I think my wrap was done well so if I'm in a hurry, I may just grab it to go.

Having dined at Spitz numerous times when visiting the Minneapolis area, I was completely unaware that a couple of locations have opened in the DFW area. Once I discovered this, I quickly made plans to stop by for some delicious eats. Per the staff, this location opened a little over 6 months ago. For those who are unaware, as I was told by staff at location in Minneapolis, the best description of the menu at Spitz is 'Mediterranean Street Food'. Whatever way one decides to describe it, just know it contains lots of delicious eats. The Spitz menu consists of wraps, salads, gyros, wings, etc. All meats are halal certified and they have a vegan menu plus gluten-free options. Similar to the Minneapolis location, this one also contains a bar consisting of cocktails, wine, sangria, and numerous beer options. This location has indoor seating that consists of table/chair setups plus bar seating. Weather permitting, there are also table/chair setups, outside on the sidewalk patio. The outdoor area is dog-friendly. As for decor, there are there are splashes of bright colors along with a few murals throughout the space which just helps enhance the laid back feeling. There are two restrooms which are not gender specific. This location is part of a fairly new strip mall and has plenty of parking in the shared lot. On my first visit to this location, I went during 'off-hours' so upon arriving I was the only customer. I placed my order at the bar (I ordered my favorite item, the Street Cart Doner wrap with beef and lamb wrap), was given a card to put at the table so they know where to deliver which order. After paying, I chose a table and waited for my food to be prepared and brought to the table. As it was my first time at this location, the staff assured me wrap would be as delicious as I remembered from the Minneapolis location. Speaking of staff, everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. Add to that, they exhibited a great deal of pride in what they were doing along with the brand. After a short wait, my order was brought to the table and it was everything I remembered. In addition to being super tasty, it was also very filling and it took me back to my first visit to the Minneapolis location. The only thing missing was a mural of Prince. Going forward, this Spitz location will be in my rotation of fast-casual healthy eats.

Located in a nondescript strip mall in Plano off of Coit Road. there is plenty of free parking outside, no shade though. Inside is a small counter where you order and pay for your food. They have physical menus as well as a display board listing the items. This establishment serves healthy Mediterranean dishes that you might find on the European continent. A wide variety of Donor Kebabs and sandwiches are available. The choices were somewhat unique. My husband ordered the loaded fries. He didn't like the sauce and has pledged to never return. My sandwich was fine, but unique. It's not really a mix that you will find elsewhere. If you are looking for something new or a twist on a classic gyro, this place will have it. They also serve some vegetarian options. My experience here was okay. I would consider eating here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make the trip here.

There are so many positive things to say about Spitz. First off, it's a really fun restaurant with fantastic food! They played some old-school hits, and the artwork was poppy and bright. Staff periodically checks to ensure you're enjoying yourself and are very helpful and polite. The Medi Bowl was bursting with fresh flavors and textures, bite after bite. The crispy garbanzo beans really stood out. Their fries paired well with their garlic aioli sauce, and their fried pita strips with hummus are a must-have! I definitely preferred the bowl over the street cart doner, but overall, I have to give everything I tried an A+!

We popped in for lunch and there was no line, walked right up the person working there was very helpful with the menu. We ordered beer on draft (mango cart) and we had a bowl and a wrap. Both were very tasty and filling. Lot of food. Also fun they have a few games to choose from while you are dining which was a nice twist. The decor inside was appealing and the art on walls made it more fun.

This is Turkish style doner fyi. The German doner is with bread, this is more of a wrap. It was good nonetheless! It was pricey for $14 without any sides, not even a bag of chips. Ingredients are easy to find locally. I asked for the crispy part of the gyro and they didn't give it to me. That's the best part. The slush was good and not too sweet read more

SO GOOD I tried this place for the 1st time yesterday, I got the Remix Beef bowl with a side of sweet potato fries. The staff were very helpful and nice. Love the decor and vibe of the restaurant. First off, let me say, the service in this place is the best I've experienced in any dining experience ever. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome of smiling faces, and a great conversation. He gave me his recommendation and let me tell you, he knew what he was talking about. The Street Cart Wrap is out of this world DEEEELICIOUS!!!! I chose the side of Pita Chips and Hummus. Omg!!! The Pita Chips were a delicious surprise. They were fried, and were nice and hot, sprinkled with a seasoning. I could have eaten a big bag of those dipping then in the Hummus. Now, let's talk about that Wrap. It was everything I've been looking for. The perfect flavor profile. The Lamb was super flavorful. The Garlic Aioli and Zhoug (Spicy) should be bottled and sold. The best sauces on the planet. I ordered in Spitz today after hearing the raving reviews and it was solid. I started with the loaded fries which at first was amazing. The difference in flavors, crispiness of fries, and sauces brought this dish together. However after my first 8-10 bites I felt flavor fatigue and I am still trying to understand if I was addicted to trying the dish or actually liked it. Next up was my bowl which was solid. This place has been on my yelp radar ever since they opened this location. With a five-star rating and rave reviews through word of mouth, Mom and I were sure to be in for a treat - and they most certainly did not disappoint. It was our first time here and we will be regulars here going forward. The first things I notice about a space are the energy and aura it emits. Good vibes from start to finish. As we entered, we were immediately greeted by AJ with a smile. I noticed that there was limited seating, but I believe that to be a good thing. Started things off with cold water infused with lime and oranges. It is a serve-yourself concept along with a soda station right next to it. Mom ordered a Chicken Medi Bowl and I ordered a Beef & Lamb Medi Bowl- from the perfectly portioned meat to tahini and dill quinoa ratio enhanced by the plethora of herbs and spices to the freshness of the cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, hummus, pickled red onions, tzatziki, crispy garbanzos and zatar - we truly enjoyed every bite and we both agreed it was the star of the show! Aesthetically pleasing in presentation and taste, this dish truly shined and will clearly be our choice when we return for lunch another day. The tzatziki and garlic aioli dipping sauces complemented the thin and crispy texture and flavor of the large fries that we ordered and shared as well. No complaints. AJ checked in with us during our meal to see how we liked the food. We told him we would return soon on another day. Also, a gentleman (whom I believe to be the owner but I didn't get his name), was very visible to patrons - we chatted with him after our meal and made sure he knew that we liked the food and that we would be returning. This place is amazing! I eat from here a few times every week. Food is great, staff is awesome. They always have a smile for you and food is delivered quickly and correctly. Drove 10 miles out of my way to try this place. I ordered a street cart wrap and asked for double meat and paid for it. My bill was $30 Unfortunately, when I opened my wrap, there was more lettuce and not enough meat. I was very disappointed I called and they offered to make me another one which was very nice but not OK the fact that I drove out of my way to try this place and that's all they offered. Food here was so good! I visited from out of state & am sad this place isn't other states closer to me. The food is fresh & doesn't take forever. It wasn't very crowded while there but table space is limited. Staff is so so, not good or bad. I don't eat a lot but wasn't allowed to order from the kids menu but then given slight grief when asked to have it cut in half because I knew I couldn't eat it all. Overall experience wasn't bad though. Definitely would make coming back a priority when in the area. Make sure to draw on the wall with the provided chalk by the bathroom, it's a fun experience. The interior of the restaurant is so charming. An incredibly unique take on mediterranean food. Portions are large for the price, and everything was delicious, made for excellent leftovers. Menu has a wide array of options, and an excellent amount of vegan and vegetarian options. My GF and I went to Spitz on a Monday night while were in Plano. There were not too many people there, but it seems like the kind of place that would be busy at lunch time and on the weekends. The staff was very friendly and super helpful (since this was our first time there). I had the Gyro Combo Meal and my GF had the Medi Bowl. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The bomb. Plain & simple. Fresh and fast and the food is delicious. We have been twice in the past week and will be back! Tonight I got the chicken doner wrap and the bread is super soft and thin which lets the ingredients in the middle shine. The crunchy cabbage makes it for me! TBH, I really don't think the other guy probably even paid cash. It felt like a hate on whitey move to me. THIS PLACE IS SHADY.

Friday night around 7, not busy at all. Overall, it wasn't bad. I would be fine with just an order of their pita bread with hummus.

They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.

Spitz Mediterranean Restaurant in Plano is a clean, family-friendly place with a nice atmosphere. Although I didn't find anything on the menu that appealed to me personally, the environment was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
