My newlywed husband and I came up to the cities for the beginning of our honeymoon. We had a LATE day because we're busy taking care of some things at home. When we got up here, we decided to order food from Spitz. We came from La Crosse, WI, and you simply can't get food like this there. I had, what I think was called the med protein bowl, forgive me if I'm wrong, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! If I had one criticism, it would be the a couple pieces of the meat were dry, and I think it's because they accidentally were put in, or they were scraps would what they had left, and a piece or 2 were dry. We did order right before close, so I didn't mind it. I had VSG surgery, and of course to me this was enough to feed an army. It was SO flavorful, and I'm so thankful to have been able to try this food!! The crispy chickpeas, pickled onions, the gyro meat, cucumbers, tzatziki, etc were so spot on!!! My husband enjoyed his meal as well, and loves trying new food. I got him to try this place with me. He thought he was getting normal Fries, as did I, but then when he got his food he was raving about the flavors!!! Thus is DEFINITELY a place we will eat at again!!! I had the garli aioli wrap, which is there top seller - totally understand why. Fresh ingredients, and great flavors, I had the beef/lamb doner and it wasn't gamy at all. Definitely recommend getting it! If I'm in the area, I would come again. They have a lot of different drink options as well. Their sweet potato fries were good, I probably wouldn't get again though because they were a little salty. Finally got to try this thanks to Door Dash and WOW this is going to become an addiction. When I placed the order, I ordered big, because the price suggested small portions. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the Doner! Great value. I ordered the Street Cart Doner, pita chips with hummus, and a falafel. The Doner legitimately melts in your mouth and the wrap is crispy and buttery. They don't skimp on sauce! My husband ordered the Mediterranean doner wrap with chicken swarma. Both sandwiches were so crisp, delicious and fresh. For sides we ordered the greek side salad and a mixture of the sweet potato waffle fries and thin cut fries - which is a must order! I wish someone would have told me how big the wraps were, my husband and I only ate half of our wraps and would have completely satisfied sharing a wrap and getting the yummy sides! For drinks I ordered the Bloody Good Bloody Mary. It was ok, I like my bloodys more tomatoy :). There was a wide selection of local beers that my husband loved! I haven't had anything on the menu that I haven't liked. Along with their regular bar selection they also have some really good sangrias that are very refreshing!
