Traditional American coffee shop. Low price price and attentive service. I had a fillet of sole which is quite good.

I've never had an issue with any Spire's. They offer weekly specials and their food is good. The biggest unfortunate thing is the pricing has definitely gone up a lot (which is common) and their portions have got smaller (which is common). I went a lot to another location before since the hours were different and it was closer before it closed down. With the pricing and portion size, this location sadly isn't worth the drive.

First time going here, but unfortunately I don't think I'll return. It does t take much to impress me when it comes to food, but I was definitely disappointed during this visit. I had the fillet of sole with fries. I figured it's one of the favorites since it was advertised on the window. The fish tasted funny- like it's a frozen fillet, and the fries were soggy when I asked for it to be extra crispy. The place is reeking with floor cleaner, which smells like a county building. The service also wasn't great, the girl didn't get my order right and forgot to return with condiments. I did like the dessert (rice pudding). Please step up your game! I know you guys have been around for a while, and I'd like to see old fashioned businesses stay in business!

Our waitress was awesome. She was extremely attentive and patient. I wish it were possible to rate the service separately because I'd totally give her 5 stars. Everyone had a really pleasant, welcoming attitude. The problem is this place is disgusting!!! Everything is dirty. Most of the napkins we were giving had random food stains. The table had unidentifiable waste in the cracks. The salt and pepper shakers were stained with food partials of prior patrons. It was just really uncomfortable, and I was hesitant to eat at all. Surprisingly, the chicken was actually pretty tasty. The wing was overcooked, and all had feathers, but the other pieces were perfect. The coffee was also surprisingly delicious. Everything else taste like a frozen meal.

Ask the Community - Spire's Restaurants

It is Sunday 6/7. I am seeing dining rooms open at many restaurants including Denny's. Is this store's dining room open yet?

Not yet since I went there Saturday, June 6th. Sign says pickup only. Although, I've seen two men there each time I've picked up breakfast. Maybe they're the owners?

The server (owner?) asked if we wanted cheese and Cole slaw, and that's how we got it. The sandwich was big enough to share so if the sandwich seems pricey, consider sharing. Although on a hungry day, I could probably eat it all with no problem. Dilly's has a fairly decent amount of craft beers on draft. I wasn't in a beer-drinking mood so I didn't look too closely at the list. I love it when restaurants support local brewers, and this looks like the kind of place that would do just that.

Heard about Dilly's Sandwiches having the most unique rotating set of beers on tap in Long Beach,…read moreso had to come to try it. The taste portions were very reasonably priced, allowing to create your own flight (or two). Specifically scheduled an early afternoon to come to the Lakewood Village neighborhood of East Long Beach. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.

I got the Tony Hawk sandwich which is turkey, honey mustard, avocado, and provolone cheese, typically served on Dutch Crunch bread with "dirty sauce" which is how I got it. It was warm and had this sweet sauce taste to it. Got the Bayou blackened ranch chips and vanilla soda drink to go with it. Everything was delicious and the cashier was so helpful. The bread had no flavor, the chicken had no flavor, all that you could taste was wasabi. Our second sandwich was the Rawson Thurber and again it was very bland. This is high concept fast food, with lots of different ingredients, yet the final product is sorely lacking. In contrast, Jersey Mike's is low concept fast food, just basic subs. However, all the ingredients that go into their sandwiches are loaded with flavor......the bread, the meat, the sauces. On a positive note, they give you big portions, the staff is friendly and efficient. Won't be going back.

I stopped by for some lonche & I ordered their salmon bowl, hold the edamame. It comes with a piece of focaccia that I assumed was their signature thing .... But it was not that great. I think it is way too doughy compared to typical focaccia. I like my focaccia airy, with some bounce. This one was like a dense bread. Definitely not my forte for having focaccia. You're able to see in my attached photo just how thick and dense it looks. The salmon bowl itself was pretty refreshing. I think the dresssingggg was perfectly tailored to the bowl. Not too acidic, not too sweet, not too salty. It dressed the bowl up real nice. The salmon was tender, nicely cooked, not chewy-- I hate when I get cheewwwyyy salmon I want fish not gum. The rice and sweet potatoes were perfect! Absolutely a nice bed made for the salmon to lay on. I tried the Shirley temple it's way too sweet, more grenadine than anythang. I just optd for half unsweetened tea & half of their lemonade. It was average. The cranberry cookie was pretty good! Not something I usually lean towards but I was wowd to taste how good it was. Cranberry gave it that nice kick of tang on your tongue. Service was friendly, I ordered through the kiosk screen. It's clean inside and in the restroom as well. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

I love that they label your tea pot, and it was nice that we each ordered a different tea so we could try each other's. All of their scones were delicious, but I really enjoyed the lavender scone with lemon icing. Out of the sandwiches, I loved the chicken and pecan sandwich, egg salad sandwich, and the strawberry cream cheese sandwich. It was nice that they mixed in some fresh fruit in between the other sweet treats. The jam, lemon curd, and hazelnut spread are a must with all these treats.
