First time to try Spice Creations under new management and the food was amazing!! We had the Homestyle Goat Curry and the Butter Chicken. Both were rich and flavorful with the perfect amount of spices. We also ordered the Naan Bread Basket which was excellent. And Mango Lassi for drinks and Gulab Jamun for dessert. Had not been here in several years. It is now under different management. Nice and clean place. Service was good. I was surprised that they have a full bar now and happy hour Monday thru Thursday. We ordered mix veg pakoda and chicken malai tikka for appetizers in addition to their complimentary papad and chutneys. Both were good, however, the pakodas should be smaller and crispier and kakabs smaller and more tender. For entrees, we ordered daal makhani and malai methi paneer with butter roti and garlic naan. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, my favorite Indian dish. It looked and tasted like Chicken Curry, no tomato sauce. I've had CTM in Delhi, London, and all over America. The restaurant is under new management and they worked really hard to make sure our meal was special. The kids meal option here is nice because it includes fries as a "safe" food but also came with rice, momos, and a main so she could sample a few different flavors. Been here several times, for $12 lunch weekday buffet this is an absolute steal! The food is really good and flavorful, they have a good amount of options but not too many, but each option is so good. Additionally, they make fresh naan bread for you which is included in the buffet, and the naan comes out so hot and fresh, buttery and crunchy. This is one of our favorite things here. My friends and I love eating here. Beyond the naan, we like the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, paneer, and kheer. Their butter chicken is really good, creamy and mildly spicy, and the tandoori chicken is tender yet juicy with a prevalent smoky flavor. I also really liked the paneer, and the kheer has a bit of banana flavoring which makes it creamy and delicious. Ambiance is quiet and modern, and the service is fast and simple. Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and was able to try their lunch buffet for $11.99. The restaurant itself is clean and there are plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. They had the buffet area set up on the side of the restaurant with plates, silverware, and napkins to help serve yourself. They had a variety of vegetarian, chicken and tandoori chili fish dish to choose from, in addition to rice and salad. I felt like there could have been a bit more options to choose from, but the options they did have were tasty. Their chutney sauce was amazing and was so delicious on everything. They also bring out fresh buttery naan bread which was amazing. My favorite was the chicken tikka masala and the tandoori chili fish. Definitely try those out if you do go. We also ordered their hot chai tea, which was so flavorful and good! We've been here a few times but never left a review. It's a really great place. They start you off with some chips and dips (I don't know what the chips are called). The menu has a lot of meat and vegetarian and momos! They have a whole page for it. We got samosas and the chicken marsala momo to start then the tandoori chicken and butter chicken as entrees. And they were amazing! The tandoori chicken came out sizzling and was very flavorful and juicy! Video below. The butter chicken is great as always and came with rice. We did a side order of garlic naan to dip too. The staff was attentive and friendly and checked up on us often refilling our waters so very nice! Jewel in the neighborhood. I was very satisfied with the food I got from here. I picked up the lamp chops, vegetable biryani, vegetable samosa, fried potatoes and variety of naan. The lamb was so very well cooked and tender. They really know how lamb is supposed to be prepared. It was sooooo good. The rice was good as well. I enjoyed the nuts, raisins and spices. The samosa was delectable. The crust was so on point and the stuffing was bursting with flavor. The fried potato slices was ok. The only thing I did not like was the naan flavor variety. The naan was very soft and warm. That part was good. The olive, garlic, and regular naan all tastes the same. I was expecting a distinction in the flavor. Over all I really liked this place. I LOVE Indian food with a passion and have been trying to find places all over the North Dallas area and this is a little hidden gem in Allen. We went around 7:15 on a Tuesday and they were not that busy. They are in the far corner of a shopping center so I doubt many know it's there unless you're specifically looking for it. I can't understand why more people haven't found this place yet. The food is amazing. We walked in and the hostess was there and she walked us directly to our table. The inside is bright with a window showing you the kitchen. Plenty of seating for everyone. My only complaint was it was a little more toasty than I like to eat at inside but was manageable. The menu covers your traditional dishes with good prices. We opted for the buffet. The buffet only came to about $15 per person with a soda but you had so many options to choose from. One person in our party is a vegetarian and they had plenty of options for them on the buffet. They're Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing. So flavorful and cooked perfectly. Their vegetable rice was some of the best I have ever had. Had the right amount of curry and honestly I straight up mixed that with my Chicken and those spices complimented each other so well. After searching in the area and trying multiple Indian places we settled on Spice Creations simply because it tasted the best with more than just rice and curry. Recently for some reason I was informed they were under new management and changed their menu a little as well as their decor. Didn't think it could taste better but they figured something out. They added these dumplings from Nepal or somewhere that are delicious and their main dishes are always cooked to perfection. There is a huge improvement with the wait staff and the service in general. I don't regularly post but I thought this place deserved some recognition for doing the right thing as a restaurant. This place will probably become my go-to indian place in Plano. The food was delicious--I got the vegetable tikka masala and naan--and they filled it up to the brim. So value! The curry was really rich and well-flavored, and the naan was oh so soft, like a delicious pillow. They also have a lot of vegetarian options, which is a bug plus. The masala was sweet and the texture lacking evidence of fresh herbs or veggies, the momo was chewy, the mango lassi tasted chalky, not sweet and clearly not made from fresh ingredients. The new management needs to up the game though - you cannot run a fine restaurant with just two servers plus small things like leaving a pile of dirty dishes near restroom - not a pleasant site.
