    We planned a Girls Trip to Sonoma for the weekend and got to stay in a really nice AirBnB near town...so we figured, why not enjoy it? Spencer came and cooked us a WONDERFUL 5-course dinner, and it was so delicious! We didn't even have to lift a finger. He set the table and cleaned up everything afterwards, and he was a joy to talk to! I would highly recommend Chef Spencer to anyone traveling to Sonoma and the surrounding areas :)

    My friends and I escaped from NYC to Napa for a long weekend and we booked a private dinner prepared, cooked & served by Chef Spencer. The food was so thoughtful and pretty, with delicious flavors and fresh ingredients pared perfectly! My standout dishes were the Fresh Pacific Dungeness Crab with Brentwood Corn Bisque, Crispy Potato, & Osetra Caviar and the Egg Yolk Chitarra with Poached Lobster, Wild Mushrooms, & Saffron. But the crudo's were outstanding as well. His service was seamless and a pleasure to work with! There is something to be said about enjoying a top notch meal in the comfort of your home with friends and family. Chef Spencer also offered us a wine paring with the meal (including the appetizers), to which we said certainly. Such a nice added touch!

    Delicious, beautifully prepared, professional, creative menu, perfectly timed presentation, perfectly seasoned, friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended! Excellent. A Terp!

Matt and Patrick were extremely friendly and the food was to die for! We celebrated our microwedding in Mill Valley and I have always selected new restaurants based on yelps top reviewed restaurants. I figured this would be the best way to go to select a catering option for an area we're not local to or able to try before in person. The reviews did not steer us wrong. We would love to book again after experiencing the food and stellar service. Appetizers: We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta which was one of my favorites! The tomatoes were fresh and every bite was memorable! The goat cheese croquettes were to die for and the braised pork shoulder had everyone coming back for more! Dinner: I'm not a huge kale person but we had an amazing kale Caesar salad that had me hoping I could recreate it at home. I honestly don't think there was any left over! It was accompanied by the grilled antipasto platter which complemented the lasagna dinner we had perfectly! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection! From all of our efforts and research, pupuserias don't really do wedding catering, and wedding caterers don't really do pupusas, but Chef Matt pulled it off for us on a whole nother level of excellence! When we originally reached out to him, he just said that they could do it, and we were ecstatic. At our first tasting, he had already gone to his local pupusa spot to analyze the timing, and watch the whole process. He hadn't done pupusas before, but had the drive, determination, and confidence to pull it off for us. When our wedding day came, we along with every one of our guests were absolutely blown away by the quality of every bit of food and drinks that they provided us all with. He was able to find the wife of a Salvadoran friend, and her mother, to help him make them all fresh on our wedding day, on a plancha that they were able to bring. The vibe was incredible, the food was impeccable, and even the Salvadorans attending were incredibly impressed. From the yucca fries to the plantain chips, from the guacamole to the curtido, from the coffee to the agua frescas, from the salsas to the amazing service, from the compostable serving ware to the incredible bartender. People still can't stop raving. The pupusas, the dips, the black chili salsa, the coffee, just everything. Everything was placed out beautifully and tasted as wonderful as it looked. Sorry to say we did not get pics of the dessert, bite size cheesecakes, they were scrumptious and I think disappeared too fast! There may have been some that made it into the fridge after we were done, but they were gone by morning - I'm sure they made some late night conversations even more enjoyable. The place we were at for the retreat was Bishops Ranch in Healdsburg and our group was responsible for the cleanup and had designated volunteers. However, the team walked into the pavilion and kitchen well after dessert and great conversations and everything was not only cleaned up, but leftovers wrapped and put away for people to take home the next day. It was cleaner than when we arrived. That was truly an extra gift she gave us especially given the heat, cramped kitchen and no AC...she was amazing. We had beef stew with polenta which was fantastic, an amazing mac n cheese, and delicious shepherd's pie. She also made us a beautiful (enormous!) cheese platter and a chicken provencal with quinoa. We also had two fresh salads with interesting toppings and tasty homemade dressing. For dessert, we had an incredible pear tart with whipped yogurt and mini cheesecake bites. We couldn't have been happier with the food quality, ease of ordering, and pricing. I will call KT anytime I need catering in Sonoma or Marin!
