They presented me with an almost $4,000 estimate -- not including the required alignment that their recommended steering/suspension overhaul would have triggered -- and claimed several issues that simply weren't remotely real. One of their recommended repairs had already been completed recently. Another, which they described as "oil spewing everywhere," was later inspected by a second shop, who showed me in plain view that there was no leak, no seepage, and no mechanical issue whatsoever. To verify everything, I took the car to a trusted independent Mercedes specialist that my friend has used for years. The new assessment could not have been clearer: the repair list from High-Tech Automotive was unfounded, exaggerated, and appeared to be an attempt to take advantage of a customer they assumed wouldn't verify the work. Based on my experience, the estimate was misleading, inflated, and not supported by any legitimate diagnosis. Stay FAR away from this shop UPDATE: was just a bent rim, $150 repair. Not $4000!

Amazing, quick service & assessment!…read more Yesterday, I drove fast into a puddle on the freeway that I didnt expect was on a ramp due to the heavy rain. The impact of the water flipped part of the guard backwards causing me to drag a piece of my car all the way back home. I decided to call MJ automotive as soon as they opened to inquire if they could help. I spoke to them about the situation and they said to come down to assess if they can fix it. As soon as I pulled into the driveway, one of the mechanics came over to check the car. After they loaded the car up, he showed me where the damage was and also that a guard was completely missing (not sure when that even happened but completely separate from yesterday's event). So blessed it was such a quick and easy fix! They had to replace 4 bolts that went missing and inverted the piece that was dragging. Good thing it didnt need a full replacement because it wasn't necessary. I inquired about the big guard , whether it was necessary to replace as well & they said it was a piece that would just continue to get damaged and waste of money again if I did. & with that I appreciate their sincere honesty in their work. Let me paint the picture: (Been meaning to post this but forgot) My wife and I were planning on spending the week of Christmas in Las Vegas and I needed to get an alignment before hitting the road... sounds simple right? Well not in my case. See my Tesla Model S is lowered and I had gone to 2 other shops earlier that day who keep in mind told me they could help. Oh, also note I took time off from work as well because this was a priority. Anyway both shops rejected my car because the sensors mount on the edge of the tires and there's not enough room for the sensors to clear the wheel wells. Also to note, I sent them pics of my car so they could clearly see how low my car is. IMO they should have shown the pics to the mechanics to confirm. Typical sales rep not knowing anything about cars. In comes Super Auto Stop... the name says it all! I sent them the exact same info and pics using Yelp. They told me, yes, we can do it. I asked twice just to confirm given my earlier 2 experiences and they confirmed again. Thankfully they had an opening which I took full advantage of. When I arrived they immediately took care of me. Got the car on the rack and went to work taking extra care the entire time. I was in and out in under 90 minutes. Great price and to be honest, this was one of the best wheel alignments I've had.
