I decided to celebrate my 40th here in attempt to try something different. Though we were probably the oldest people in line, I had an amazing time and not once did I feel out of place. We went on a Wednesday so parking was ample, the arcade room and games were available without a wait time and the AC was on what felt like 60°. We rode go karts several times. Although there was a line each time, it moved quickly. The guys managing the track were fast, efficient, professional and friendly. I did notice the cleanliness of the establishment as well. We were there 4 hours and of those hours I noticed the employees cleaning the restrooms often. The tables were being cleaned frequently and I even noticed one of the employees running to throw away old pizza boxes that a parent left on top of the trash can instead of simply placing them in the trash can. We tried to do laser tag but weren't sure exactly how the line or wait was. We asked one of the guys behind the counter about it. He was so knowledgeable, helpful and polite. Kudos to all the employees there because the service was absolutely on point. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages. I had such an amazing and enjoyable experience. My husband and I will definitely be returning but next time we'll arrive earlier so we have more time to explore. read more

F1 Karts supposedly 30-35 mph. It really was about 15 they are not fast and the steering wheels are loose you can't even do the right turn at the right time or move sometimes. I came in with hope of having a good and fast race but I went out really disappointed . The machines inside are also really expensive, the cheapest 3 dollars? Will never come back again. read more

I had my son's birthday party here on Saturday 11/6/21. Was nice to have the facility to just our party. Majority of the staff was helpful and friendly. I have a younger autistic son who came with us, the staff was considerate enough to keep the music down for him. All of the kids and parents had a blast! The only complaint I had was the administration. When you book the party, you have to give a $100 deposit to secure your date. I booked my November party back in June... somehow they could not find my payment. I had to show through my bank app that I made the payment back in June. Word to the wise, bring proof you made your payment in order to prevent that issue. Other than that it was a great memory shared with family and friends. Highly recommend for anyone! read more

They have all sorts of games such as connect four, AirHockey, shooting games, driving games, whack a mole, go kart, laser tag, and so much more! I believe laser tag is $9 a game and if you want the fast go kart it'll be about $11 per race. If you are a bit hungry or thirsty there is a taco truck outside that has the juices like Piña, horchata, mango, etc. I paid about $4 for a large drink to satisfy my thirst. I came on a Saturday which was busy but it was fun! I'd recommend bringing your family and friends of all ages to play! Id come again soon to race in go karts. I'm a child at heart. I love this place and the kiddos do too. We been on several occasions and enjoyed it every time. This mommy leaves everyone in the dust. If you want to win you ride with me. My dad was all about taking us to arcades with putt-putt golf and Go-Karts my entire childhood. Doing the math, as I only take my kids, how on earth did he afford to take me, my brother, and my cousins is beyond me. Ouch. I make our trips far and in between. I don't remember my dad saying only two rides kids. blah blah blah. This can get expensive, but that's what I did, told the kids two rides each if you want me to take you tomorrow to another race track. 4 rides $32 bucks. This is my favorite track. They have the fastest karts in my opinion. I feel the other ones are set not to go over a certain speed. I absolutely dislike any of the indoor tracks, and the one near Almeda mall it's outdoor but partially enclosed. I checked in on Yelp as I was getting in the car with kids kicking rocks because it was over way to quick. They had an offer for laser tag. Buy one, get one free. I tell the kids okay one game of laser tag and then you wait for more fun tomorrow. Everyone walked away happy and it only cost me an additional $9 dollars. read more

this place is so cool, came here and had so much fun. it was my first time trying kart and i didn't know what to expect. while the boost noise kinda scared me it was a cool adventure and since there was no one it was less intimidating. i was surprised by their giant track! also on the inside they have bunch of fun games, it reminded me of dave and busters just much bigger. i tried new games which was a lot of fun and the guitar hero as well. the guitar was pretty heavy lol. anyways i think this is a cool spot to come with friends and have a good time. i really liked how they have tiny things you can purchase with the tickets you earned. i got two cool pencils, two dalmatian puppies, blueberry airhead, burger patty gummies and a bracelet. the staffs are really friendly and nice!! i actually didn't know something like this existed and i would def come back here!! read more

It's like I stepped into a time machine while looking back at what a dump this place was 4 years ago when I did my review and just to drive by and see the parking lot full. Wow, it was never like this the last 3 times I visited. Somebody really did a good job and turning this place around 180 degrees! The wow factor surprised my son and I causing us to wonder who was the mastermind at holding up the business promise of making a successful entertainment business by actually getting lots of new and updated machines and such here? Kudos! There are two pinball machines here now and they're semi new but better than some places I've been too around Houston and some places don't even have pinball machines. A little on the steep side but $2 for 3 plays isn't too bad. These are expensive machines that buy/sell around the $4k to $6K range. There are 5 pool tables to play on here, I did not notice how many before. The area where the prizes is pretty large for what this place is. Again, some places do not even have this or not even half the size of it. See picture for view. If you put $5 in the token machine you get $6 worth of tokens, I hope that is not a fluke. There is wifi here but it might be coming from a neighboring business since it's xfinity domain, that's a different story on how you can get hooked up. read more

This place has a policy where if your hair is longer than shoulder length, you have to pull it back and secure. Cool. It doesn't say anywhere in writing that you have to subject yourself to taking your hair down for them to determine if you can ride based on the length. It says secure it. Well if you're a black woman, they want you to take your hair down. But if you're white or Hispanic, you're good to go! Oh and the managers who are still in high school, are obviously rude and don't know how to communicate. Honestly this is a hidden gem! I recently came here for a birthday celebration and absolutely loved it! You can pay a la carte for attractions/games or buy a package. This place turned me and my family away from riding the go carts due to our hair being "too" long. Even after suggesting we put our hair up in high buns and clips they still said no. You would think this establishment would recommend women with long hair to put in a high bun and baseball cap for go carts but instead they tell you no. They make us women take our hair down, turn around so these men can check how long our hair goes down our back. I was very uncomfortable! Can you imagine if these men asked a Muslim woman to take her hijab off? Or would they turn her away automatically?? DISCRIMINATION AND DISGUSTING of an establishment. We've had our children's combined birthday parties here two years in a row. Hands down the best place to have a party. You can bring whatever food and drinks you want which is great. My suggestion is to book the private Sunday parties 10-12 pm where you get the whole place to yourself. This year there was a little mix up and Our Party was canceled. We had booked it 6 months in advance because it books up quickly. So when it was canceled they booked someone in our original time. After several calls between us and the other party, the other party graciously agreed to have a joint party. Speedy's opened up an extra lane I'd go carts and even made special accommodations for both parties. It turned out to be the BEST day and the other party was amazing to share with us. Speedy's was very gracious and accommodating to us both. They really worked hard to make both of us happy and it truly was the best party yet. This was an unlikely event that rarely occurs so don't let my review make you not want to book with them. They are awesome. My suggestion is to periodically call back and ensure your reservation is still there even months ahead of time. That was my mistake. Definitely something for all ages at Speedy's and the place is super clean. Please support them and book your parties here! read more

This place is insane. The fact that this place isn't a perfect 5star boggles my mind. Come here for classic games and an AMAZING go-kart course!!! A few things: 1) They have old, classic games that are in GREAT working condition (Street Fighter, Simpsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). The newer ones (Mario Kart DX or the motorcycle ones) are a little uncertain. 2) Friendly staff! 3) Lots of air hockey and pool tables. Always great to see. 4) Legit awesome go-kart course. The concrete track is a little rough around the edges but I understand that's a lot of work. The arcade inside is amazing. Plenty of games and space. Didn't get to try the laser tag (it seemed like it would be a little small) but me and my date instead had a blast at the games and the F1-level go-karts, which were amazing. The staff is awesome and couldn't be friendlier. I can definitely see this place being a HUGE draw, if they could update their aesthetic. The exterior put me off a bit when I pulled into the lot because it kind of looks like the arcades in those horror movies (outside paint looks a little drab). The interior, while nicely set up, reminded me of my middle school cafeteria. I think the place just needs an overall update. But the place is GREAT. read more

This was our second time back and now with kiddos. They both loved it. There's a variety of games for little babies who could walk and push buttons, to more complicated big kid/ mommy & daddy games. It was a good fun 2.5 hours that we had. There's a little race track outside. For the little ones, you'll need to get the dual seat tickets. They'll need to ride with someone 18/older. Long haired ladies, make sure to have a hair tie! The workers said that they've had lawsuits where long hair got stuck in the motors of the little race cars. Good thing I had my hair tie and a hat to stuff the hair in. We all had a bunch of fun! I'm not a gamer and don't really do arcades, but for the kids...I participated and actually had fun too! Definitely worth it! Not cheap, but for say an event or something special for the kids it's good. Not a weekly thing...definitely. Great for bdays, or family and friend get together s for special occasions though. Digital tickets all stored on your car that you scan when pay for your games. So the numbers... Variety of things to do 6 out of 10 What you see virtually what you get. They utilize the space they have well but I would say it just seems a little off. I took my nieces and nephews here yesterday and they weren't blown away but the go karts and laser tag were fun. They allow the super karts to ride with the slower karts which is fun but also causes congestion. *They do take safety seriously however* that's a plus For the money... 5 out of 10 67 dollars for 16 ticket rides. Which isn't awful nor is it great. The lines aren't really long at all for go karts. 67 dollars for 10 laser tag tickets again which isn't awful nor great I believe the environment itself is alright but once again the place felt off. I'm not sure if i would return for another visit. I'm leaning more towards no. Btw I'm rating this against other places like main event etc which has more variety of things cause it's a bigger place (no fault to this place) all in all I would say you can go for yourself and you may enjoy it but for me and my crew it was just eh. Then when I asked for tickets to the super carts they REQUIRED a valid drivers license. I don't have a dl but was able to purchase vehicles but not drive a go cart. Fun place! Our first trip to Speedy's was on Dec. 22, 2020. We went right when they opened - noon. The place is clean and the attendants inside wore face coverings. As you enter the building there's also signs that patrons wear facial coverings as well. There's also hand sanitizer dispensers by the entrance/exits. We initially came here for the mini golf, but went go-karting as well. The prices are very reasonable and we loved how these were outdoor activities (there's not many around here) - we didn't need to wear the mask playing outside. The only downside was that there was water in some of the holes... no big deal. We chose not to do billiards or video games simply because we wanted to minimize our time indoors. However, there weren't many patrons inside so it wouldn't have been bad anyways. We've gone back since and had the same great experience. We'll definitely visit many more times! read more
