I'd give it 10 stars if I could. This place is so much fun! The racing is extremely affordable, especially in comparison with other go kart places around the area. The management and workers are super engaged with the customers and really do everything in their ability to make sure everyone is having a blast and getting what they need. Very family oriented place and the bathrooms are Buc-ee's grade clean which is always a plus. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to take the kids for a birthday party or maybe just a fun Sunday activity. All right Edgar, this one's for you. Speedy's Fast Track is an off brand version of Mountasia. They cut corners at every available opportunity, but do so with flair. The walls inside the arcade are covered in strange carpet and show signs of a lot of wear and tear. They recently added indoor batting cages and some extra skeeball tracks, but that is about it on improvements over the last couple of years. You'd think this would be a 2 or 3 star review but in fact, NOT. I love the hell out of this place. They have ample parking. The arcade is loaded with all sorts of games mostly old school, Pac-Man (2) Mrs Pac Man, Millipede, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teken, Whack-a-Mole, SkeeBall, Air Hockey, Pool, and much, much more. They have a pretty exhilarating fast track go cart track and you can choose a yellow "super cart" or a blue "go cart". Both are the same size, but the yellow has a bigger engine. And you can totally fly around the blue cars. You can manage to lap them once or twice depending on the driver. The mini golf is pretty okay. It's not as good as the mini golf in Galveston, but it's a lot closer and a lot cheaper than most. The staff is nice and helpful. They are mostly dudes who appear maybe to have been felons at some point. But they are working hard and have always been great to us. When we went yesterday it had rained most of the day and we had the urge to mini golf. Stupid me didn't even think about standing water. When we bought our round of golf the desk guy said, "there's going to be some water out there". Boy, he wasn't kidding. We ended up back inside and asked if we could trade in our $20 for golf in for more super cart rides. He not only traded, but I think he threw in a free ride for us. We spent about $40 on 3 hours of fast cars and arcade fun for 4 people. That, my friends, is a good value. read more

When you first pull up to Speedy's, it's easy to be a little weary. It doesn't look like much from the outside. But then you go inside and realize how awesome it is! There's an arcade, pool tables, laser tag, mini golf, and go carts! It can get a little pricey, but really any kind of kid entertainment can, so it's not unreasonable. The kids and grownups alike have a blast every time we go. And we just had a very successful birthday party experience there! Overall, I highly recommend it! read more

I haven't been to a place like this before in years..since I was a kid. I am glad I visited this place with my sister and my significant other because it was a lot of fun!! It was so many games everywhere and plus I saw a few of my favorites too like skee-ball. I love that game it brings back so many good memories from when I had my birthday at Peter Piper when I was a kid. I love getting the tickets when I win at a game, it makes me so happy to have that feeling of accomplishment. Sure, it was a lot of children here, but the kids weren't smothering this place with them. A few of the games didn't work, but they quickly got fixed. Air-hockey, Foosball, Tekken arcade, racing games, skee-ball, coin toss (easy win), race car track, laser tag, mini golf, pool tables, and a lot of cool prizes--is what I endured when I went. This is the ultimate fun house for any young adult like myself who doesn't smoke nor drink or ever feel that most social events for adults tend to always contain alcohol. Alcohol doesn't always make the world go around for the adults and plus not all adults do drugs to have fun or socialize. Next time, I will try the laser tag, race track, and mini golf. Visited on Columbus Day. Busy but not overly crowded. First the negatives... Courteousness of staff is hit or miss. A few were super friendly... others hardly opened their mouths to us. There was quite a bit of maintenance going on through our entire visit. Some games were unavailable because they're transitioning from a coins & tickets system to a player card. That's awesome but I think they should have done this outside of business hours. I'm sure there's a reason they didn't but it diminished our visit because there were certain games we couldn't play. Now the positives... THIS PLACE IS FREAKING AWESOME! Where do I begin? We didn't even do everything and had such a great time! Go-kart Racing, pool tables, air hockey, larger-than-life connect 4 arcade game, every sort sort of arcade game you can imagine...we couldn't get enough! The prices are reasonable and the prize counter doesn't leave you feeling like you just pad $40 for a bag of gummy worms! They only thing that could make this place better is a concession stand. Had a corporate team building here for 12 folks on 12/17 and we had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!!! We got a package for $20 pp that included 3 supercart rides plus 30+ tokens pp for the arcade. I hadn't planned on playing any arcade games until I saw everything they had. They had several classics that I enjoyed playing as a kid such as Galaga and Ms Pacman in addition to that crocodile game where you have to quickly use your hands to smash the crocs on the head as they come out of their little holes. They also had newer games like Dance, 4 man ms Pacman and Connect 4. The GoCarts were super fun and they even had a few doubles. Hint: the doubles go faster than the singles even with two decent sized people. The people who run this place are super nice, helpful and friendly. They even recommended that I get a party package the next time we return which would have been a better deal. Loved this place and we plan to return! read more

Went to this place midweek with a group of friends. Even though it rained on us during our putt putt game we still had a blast. Go cart rides were delayed due to weather. Laser tag was awesome! I might've given 5 stars had they considered offering up some sort of option on the weather delaying the rides. Freaking Awesome place to enjoy Colombus Day and to help a friend son celebrate his birthday, to my surprise it wasn't packed at all. It Had been so long, since I've been to a game room/ amusement park. This place is huge, and full of excitement. You are embraced with arcade games from old school Pac Man, to new school exciting big screen Connect Four. I fell in love with the pool tables, and how interesting it was to find so many games that I enjoyed playing, there was so many, that even in the few hours we we're there, I still didn't make it very far. Will definitely be returning, with the same group of 9 are more. $20 gets you 180 tokens, which is more than enough, but still leaves time and money for any of the rides, laser tags, or miniature golf, it is a very family filled, entertaining game room. It is always difficult to find, women bathrooms that are roomy enough for us women to enjoy, but ladies these bathroom truly suits our needs. Can't wait to visit this place, again soon! read more

Me and the kiddos went here this evening. We had been several years ago- they've definitely updated their games/facility! My kids had a blast riding go-karts, playing laser tag, and the arcade games. The downside to this place, (as with most like it), it's pretty expensive. You are charged $1.00 at the kiosk to get arcade cards- in addition to what you load it with. The lines for the go-karts were REALLY long, at least a 30 min wait. Granted- we went on a Saturday, so that was to be expected. If you have too many go kart passes, you can trade 2 in to get a laser tag pass. There's not much seating bc their tables get reserved for parties. Also, don't anticipate eating here bc there's only a Mexican snack-food truck; but they allow outside food! read more

Just want to recommend this place: super clean. Staff are friendly, don't seem tired/burned out. Has go karts, mini-golf, lazer tag, diverse group of arcade games and such. Concession-like stand out in the parking lot. We have been twice in last 3 weeks and everything seems to work. I was surprised by how much I liked this place. It's fairly cheap, they have plenty of arcade games, and it's not too crowded if you come on off peak times. I think I usually get 2-3 Speedy or F1 kart rides, and spend $10 on the arcade. It's about $25 for 2 hours of fun, not too bad =]. The staff have actually been fairly nice and helpful, which is surprising given how much it looks like they deal with! The place is older and it's not a top of the line Karting place. But the price point makes me forgive some of the rough edges, and I'll definitely keep coming back :). Also... watch your phones o the karts!!! Mine slid out my pocket, and I didn't notice until after we got out of the karts. I ran back, and they were nice enough to make everyone wait 3 minutes while they checked the entire track. Of course, the guy we first asked to check his kart was sitting on it, as they checked with him a second time. We came in so excited to go kart for my anniversary and was rejected due to my girlfriend hair. They said it was below the waist line when we tried to make accommodations to either tying the hair up or putting her hair inside her shirt. Once again we were rejected so we kindly got put but once we saw the next set of drivers we saw multiple girls with king hair with their hair tied up. As my day went on, I encountered a very not nice manager by the name of "Vera" who I felt was very prejudice against my skin color. I found hair in my food and the go karts were very old. I have always said, "Go karts are the most fun you can have with your clothes on," so my wife took me here for my birthday. It was awesome! She purchased a four ride package and so we both rode twice. We opted for the faster carts, and it worked out to about $7 per ride. They were super fun. It was nice to be able to pass the slower carts, and the handled well in the tight turns. My face hurt from smiling so much. During our break we went into the game room. We played video games, skee-ball, pin-ball, and the basketball games. We played continuously for about 45 minutes, and still were not finished with the initial $10 game card she purchased. Your money really goes a long way in their game room. The go karts are fast, and the games are inexpensive. What more can you ask for? I'm already trying to dream up reasons to go back. read more

My son is now 14-years-old going on 24-years-old, so it's not always easy to find things to do with him when I have him on weekends. I read about Speedy's and decided to give it a go. Although he initially complained, we both had a great time. Put in $20 and got $27 worth of tokens. Sweet deal. We spent a good hour or more playing games until we got tired and just started dumping quarters into the ticket games - I hope I wasn't encouraging gambling... We also took a turn on the super karts. It was a very traditional go kart track and the cars were pretty good, too. Somehow my son smoked me. The weather was getting dicey so we didn't do the miniature golf, but we will definitely do that next time. My only interaction with the staff was when the Galaga machine ate my token. Staff member was very nice about refunding me my token. I considered giving this place four stars, but I'm giving it five because whoever runs this place is doing a very nice job and I hope it stays in business for many more years. read more
