We did laser tag, multiple rounds of go carts, and played arcade games, too! Reasonably priced and fun for all ages. My kids could spend hours here if it was up to them. Everyone working there is courteous and efficient. The day we went they had a Mario challenge where a man dressed as Mario was in the go cart throwing water balloons at other racers. My kids bought a bag of water balloons to throw at others as well. I was brought here on a date for go kart racing and I truly had a blast! You walk in and there are so many video games and at ase games to fill the night. From air hockey to basketball, to dance dance revolution. You start to feel like a little kid again! We came here on a Wednesday night and there was hardly anyone here. We got the tickets for the go kart racing Andy here was literally no lines for anything! We were the first group to race and we were up against kids and adults. Even thought I was a bit scared at first, only because I didn't want to hit any children, the karts were very safe and even if someone hit you, it didnt really hurt. Soooooo I was there for my nephews birthday party, I walked into the women's restroom & a man was working in there. He then told me I can use the Men's restroom, I went to use the bathroom & realized there was no toilet paper & NO SINK!! So we are IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC & YALL HAVE NO RUNNING WATER?! How are they still allowed to be in business?! So later on I went to use the "bathroom out back" to find a porta-potty with an empty hand sanitizer dispenser inside!! Also I do not recommend taking any kid under the age of 5 there because they can easily escape out of there push doors, they're off of a freeway & a kid can easily escape & get hit by a car. From my perspective, this place could use some lift. But I'm writing this review from my 12-year-old's point of view, and he loved it. I find it extremely odd that there's really no snack bar (or bar, for that matter); and the inside arcade seemed like a scene out of a George Orwell novel -- the games were there, but the cold tile floor and suspended ceilings made it feel like we were in a Kmart that lost its lease. The party 'rooms' are merely 10x10 roped off sections, but they were full on our visit. Just bring your own 2-liters and trays of ziti. Weirdness aside, everything is clean. And everyone is extremely polite. The place is reasonably priced. And, again, my 12-year-old had a blast on his special night. (Maybe I need to channel my inner 12-year-old more often.) If places like this are your thing, don't expect a Dave & Buster's type of carpeted-lit atmosphere. But do expect for your children to have a blast. read more

Just another fun track with friendly staff in the H-Town area. I am disappointed my dad never brought us here and it's been around forever. It is newly remodeled due to Harvey and the expansion of Interstate 45. Although the track used to run to the end of the property, they made better use of a smaller space, and still managed to make the track 100 feet longer. It has a pretty cool view with the highway speeding by, plus a nice outdoor picnic area near the water. You can rent that outdoor space for 3 hours, b-b-que, and get 10 all day bands for 500 bucks. Now that's a deal! No matter where you go, you're going to spend some cash. This time around I decided to buy the kiddos 1 hour bands for unlimited go-karts, laser tag, and arcade. Two one hour bands = $60.00. I didn't tell them about the arcade, shoved those little cards in my bag and told them "go-karts and laser tag one hour run!" Trust me they can kill valuable minutes on 50 cents arcade games, not worth it and I wasn't going to argue about it there. What they don't know won't hurt them. They each got 3 of each in the one hour. I did the math and it was worth it. I saved myself $30 bucks. Why didn't I give them the 5 stars like Speedy's? A) I feel the karts are slightly slower. I can tell. B) The restrooms, there is one with two stalls no doors on the stalls. I learned these places are all family owned by the same family so there is no price competition, they set the prices. At this rate, I will never have money for drugs and alcohol. read more

She almost ran over a staff member who was waving her down to exit .Intoxicating lady ran through the middle concrete and flew on top of two go karts and she was just laughing at the situation. This couldn't of been avoided, if the manger strictly enforced the rules of the company." MANAGER WAS JUST TRYING TO COVER HERSELF" always on defense mode with the moms who's kids where involved in the incident. She just offered a free ride and let the intoxicated lady leave . The cop wasn't able to do a police report also because it wasn't a criminal report . We don't want any kids going through the same situation the kids went through. They where scared for their life. We had my son's 6th day here a little over a year ago. They book exclusive parties on Sunday mornings and the dates an full up fast. It was inexpensive and very accommodating with bringing food/cake. The only thing noting is that sometimes I-45 has beach/shopping traffic and alternate routes get confusing since most of us came from Houston area. Another small note was that during the party some machines were turned off and others weren't working. But there was lots of entertainment for folks. read more

Probably one of the coolest places in the area to take kids and adults! We always have a blast here and it isn't completely overpriced like Main Event or ITz. We absolutely love the all day wristbands where you can ride, laser tag and game to your hearts content. The go-karts are a blast and the two seater ones are extremely fast. They let you go for about 5 minutes and the lines are never extremely long. We really love the laser tag too as it is fun competing against friends and family on opposing teams. The games are great too (especially deal or no deal) and they've even got pool and air hockey. The green games are included with the wristbands (including the walking dead game) and the pink ones cost money but you can get prizes. Love this place! Always a fun weekend here and it's open till 12. read more

I have lived in Dickinson for over 18 years. I'm glad this place is back up and going however.....three major things I need to point out. Customer Service:They don't advertise that they have wrist bands for $49, they want you to spend extra money getting a two seater for you and a young child when we saw a young child and a father riding together in the cheaper go carts. Go Carts: You get in line and there are different lines to be in. One is a yellow ticket line and one is a white ticket line. No one tells you this. There is a small sign that says follow yellow lines and white lines but guess what noooo lines hardly at all. Sign NEEDS to be on a gate!! Laser Tag: you can't run and even if you have small 5 year old if they are to run then they will stop the game. They stoped the game on us even though we are a paying customer. There were two kids in there that weren't even ours that were running. RIP OFF!!! I'm sorry to say we will not come back here. I talked to the manager and she just said safety and that they don't advertise the two people sitting together. read more

I visit game rooms all over the country and this place has some amazing games. They have missile command and space invaders. you just dont see these game anymore. They have fast go-karts and the service is awesome. If you are intrested in having a morning party, book it way in advance, the dates fill up fast. read more

The racetrack here is nice and always a lot of fun. Great for kids and adults. However, the arcade and food area I feel uncomfortable just standing in. The bathrooms are always dirty and so is the arcade. I've never eaten here (I don't think they offer food) but I wouldn't even bring food here for a kids birthday party or anything. I wouldn't host parties here for that reason only. This is a great spot for dating teens, dating adults, or to bring your kids to ride carts. Don't plan to stay in the arcade. read more

Great place to take the kids for some go kart action. 12, 13, 15 year old, I got the 6 rides for $28, so they each rode twice. I didn't time each run, but it seemed around 10 min. Definitely got our moneys worth and could see coming back. They have a good assortment of video games. They had a couple areas for birthday parties. me and my family went there to have a great time and i did but the second time i went there me and my brother and friend came we immediately got sized up by the police that was there but we ignored the stares we came to have a great time so we rode the go karts 3 times every time was fine until the third time the little boy that wasn't even old enough and wasn't even tall enough to drive by his self crashes into the wall so me and my brother who was driving crashed into the little boy my brother apologized and we kept riding which that was the last lap so we got off and we decided to all go again this time we all ride alone so we were about to pay to ride again and then we got pulled over by the manager so she was very understanding she said we don't bumped into people on the go kart because people can seriously get hurt she was nice about it the parents of the child weren't mad at all every one was understanding and we told the lady that we understood but the lady was only talking to me and my brother because we were in the go kart were the little boy got hurt so the police yells at my brother that literally just got out of jail 2 days ago DO YOU UNDERSTAND and my brother calmly said i understand we then all process to say it then he yells again and start stepping up my my brother so i step in front of him and tell the police that we all understand and i got loud with him because he was yelling and he was not listening and that what got his attention when i yelled over him so he told me i don't need you to say it i need him to say it (his badge and gun getting to his ego and just the simple fact that we're the only black people that were in there he wanted us out) but anyways it the middle of his sentence i turn my back on him because he isn't relevant and plus he saw my ass so i wanted him to kiss it so i told my family we can go we don't have to deal with this so they agreed and we left and you know we didn't leave quietly we we were cursing him the fuck out because he had no business putting his 1 cent in ours literally he was on this phone in the corner of the room sucking on a McDonalds drink then he wants to pay attention when we get in there like really we all felt uncomfortable and we were like fuck him i just want him to know he is wrong for that but we didn't let that get to us we went to the one in houston WAY BETTER,BIGGER,MORE GAMES,BIGGER TRACK SO it was amazing god isn't sleep hunny lol he got you boo Morale of the story is we won't be going there ever again.lol and i hope my experience won't get them any business i wouldn't want anyone of color to be uncomfortable when your trying to have a great time. read more

Rae and Tabitha (manager) are down to earth and will do their best for you to have an experience that you will not forget!! I took my 4-year-old on a Thursday afternoon. We had the place all to ourselves! The employee was as nice as he could be. We did two go-cart rides (one with me driving the double Super Kart, one with her in my lap so she could drive the single regular kart) and she had a ball! Then we spent $5 playing games inside. There was a good selection of games that she could play, and she even got a jackpot on one of them! We were also very pleased with the prize choices - didn't get that "I'm getting SO ripped off!" feeling like I usually get :-) It was a great little outing! read more

This place has definitely gotten better than it was. Employees were friendly. Party rooms are tiny, and I don't think this business is big enough to host a full fledged party. A lot of the games are super old, like from the 80s. They do have some newer ones, but they require 4 tokens! Yikes! I think I would have liked it more though if I didn't have to deal with telling an employee every time my token didn't work, or tickets didn't dispense. It seemed to be a reoccurring issue. If you needed to find an employee they were all up at the counter goofing off together. The plus side to this place? The prizes were awesome for the tickets! Compared to Chuck E Cheese if you have 150 tickets you can get a full sized bag of skittles here! Where as the rat place will give you a sticker for the same amount of tickets. Seeing as how it was already paid for, I can't comment on whether the prices are reasonable, but if you're looking for a place to go race go carts, I believe this is the only business in the area offering that. In addition to go carts, Bay Area Raceway also has a number of arcade games. It's basically like a smaller version of Chuck-E-Cheese with go carts, and minus the mascot. read more
