We chose the private room, which provided a festive yet quiet space for our celebration. The food, drinks, and our party hostess were all great. Even though it was busy, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the play area and didn't want to leave. The only inconvenience was upgrading our party from a table to a private room. I had to contact the main office, reach out to the Woodlands location multiple times, and eventually visit in person because the Woodlands location did not return my calls for several days. One week before the party, the party organizer called and helped us resolve everything and update our order. It would have been much more helpful to receive that call at least two weeks in advance so we had enough time to invite guests and keep the planning process stress-free.

When we went to do the pottery painting, we were welcomed by Ciciley who showed us around and explained everything so well. We had a great time painting and the pieces came out so beautifully when I picked them up a week later. I had such a good experience that I decided to enroll in an adult art class and I have been going for one month now. I love it! The instructor is wonderful and the community of other students in the class are so encouraging! It's been a special time of the week for me when I get to spend a couple hours painting on Tuesday nights! I have 2 children I plan to enroll in the summer art camp and I'm exited for them to enjoy this art school like I do!

But with mom out of town for the weekend, I was looking for stuff to do with my son, and it actually seemed like a pretty solid option. He's 6 years old and plays (kid-friendly) Squid Games worlds on Roblox. It's one of his favorite things to do, actually. So when I saw that they had a Squid Games thing here, I was pretty intrigued. It was noted to be 12+ though, so I opted to not book in advance and just ask the people working here when I arrived, if it would be appropriate for him. They all universally said that it would probably be too challenging for a 6 year old. So we booked Paw Patrol instead. Walking in on a Saturday meant that we had an hour wait, which was no problem because we had plenty to do at the mall in the meantime. He absolutely loved it. He hasn't stopped talking about it in the 24 hours since we finished. It was definitely easy enough for him to figure out how to play, other than the 2nd to last game where you were supposed to herd ducks and fish into their body of water. Even I struggled with that game. But the rest of it was very manageable. It's not the cheapest way to spend an afternoon, but we will definitely be back to do this again in the future.

The rooms are somewhat small so check out the capacity for the amount of kids you're catering for. I'm not sure if they have bigger rooms as two I saw were the same size but on the smaller end. Also the pipes weren't working and the sinks smelled really bad. The highlight of the experience was after when they came and got the kids and started the experiments. For this part the kids did about four different experiments and they had so much fun learning and experimenting. It can get a little chaotic and I wished they had separate rooms to do the experiments as there were two other sets of experiments going on and it was just loud and the guy had to be shouting a lot. Overall the kids loved it and they even got to play with other random stuff that was not apart of the experiments that are in the area. They were also given lab coats and eyewear and they looked like real scientists which they loved. The experiments were very kid friendly and they got to bring home some of their work, like slime and fake snow. Without the party kids can come in and enjoy the room and do different experiments which I was told there are different packages of what you'd want your kids to do. The bathrooms were messy and toilet paper was all around on the wet floor. So that for me is a let down as we have young kids and would want to ensure they have somewhere clean to use. It's also like a big warehouse though and things are just round and about.

The young lady who guided the 13 children through each experiment was was fantastic. Imagine trying to hold the attention of over a dozen children and then safely guiding them through the experiments. Great job! I'm pretty sure the adults had a lot of fun as well assisting with making slime, creating a volcano, and a mini bottle rocket. A separate room was also provided for the pizza party (bring your own) and cake. Parents can also rent by the hour open lab time. They provide a binder with easy to follow directions and you can move between stations completing all the different experiments. What a great concept!

My son started here at 14 months, and sadly had to say goodbye at 3.5 years. His coaches here were named his best friends. They truly do a great job on giving one-on-one attention during class. They are extremely well balanced on work/play and maintaining relationships while building new ones when new kids come to join. The things my son learned here are irreplaceable. If My Gym ever comes to St. Louis, we will continue our membership.
