Love this AMC. It's our go to place for seeing movies. Every theater has reclining seats. The location is clean and staff is friendly. Concessions has a variety of different snacks, drinks, popcorn, and food selection. Best party is, you can order ahead. We always purchase tickets on the app, but they do have kiosks and staff available to assist you in purchasing. Inside there is a bar for those who wish to purchase an alcoholic beverage. Restrooms are always clean. Parking is available in the back, side, or nearby parking garage. read more

Movies, food, and BEER! I believe they also have cocktails. It's a modern, clean cinema. You can order ahead with the AMC app and have your food and drinks ready. You'll need a physical CC for the bar as the time (2024) they didn't take mobile payment. The price per ticket isn't bad but there are cheaper options at older theaters. You can buy tickets online or use the kiosks. The lines are usually minuscule as most people buy their tickets online and only need their phone to show the ticket and seat number. read more

First thing's first: the visuals and sound of the IMAX theater were superb! Beautiful screen, clear, robust sound. Loved it! The food was pretty good, too. We got the popcorn, chicken strips and sliders. The sliders were no good. Microwaved and small. But the tenders were good and the popcorn was excellent! I prefer this theater but I don't get snacks unless they're prepackaged bc it looks a little unsanitary inside the popcorn displays. I can usually get a soda but today ended that. Look at the actual gunk built up on the walls inside the soda machine. If that's what we can see, the ice bin inside and the nozzles have to be disgusting and likely attracting flies and roaches. This place is amazing. I don't care if the kids that work here are smart or stupid. What's amazing is that I'm 53 years old and I finally got carded for the first time in the last 10 years! I didn't have my drivers license on me, but when my 16-year-old came up and said "dad what's taking you so long" he finally relented and poured my beer. This is the best place ever. It's only recently opened, but rather than being the "newest & greatest," it's nothing remarkable. Standard pricing, pretty much equal to the other theaters nearby. The shopping plaza is still under construction/amidst renovations, so the outside aesthetics aren't very inviting and parking is a challenge. They seemed understaffed, and the employees are a bit lacking with upkeep & quality control. The concessions area was unclean - with spilled food (mostly around the pick-up counter), but none of the staff seemed to mind or make effort to tidy up. We booked a 3D IMAX showing, and everyone in our group received greasy, dirty glasses... It's questionable if they clean them in between uses. The chairs were nice & cozy - brand new & fully reclined - but the sound wasn't as exceptional as other IMAX venues. Was an okay experience; no extreme positives or negatives. *Bonus opinion: As a Woodlands local, my favorite theater to catch a film with the family by comparison is XScape off 1488. read more

One of the best theater experiences in a while. The seats are still in great condition and the entire place was clean from entry to bathrooms to seating. No complaints about sight or sound. I like the delivery option of food items. While there is parking, I find that it's a far walk, especially for handicap. The best part is there are good food choices nearby. The bad is the 242 exit off 45 sucks! Coming from the north, I need to consider a back way to get there. And leaving is also a hassle. Otherwise, I'm glad I finally made it here and hope to enjoy my next feature in a few days. read more

The AMC theatre in Shenandoah is new and beautiful but the staff is terrible. Concessions are poorly cooked & reheated and dips are insufficient but they will "sell you one" after you paid $16 for a pretzel. The person who cooks the snacks is poor and the food is disgusting. No use talking to a manager who doesn't have any common sense. Employees have bad attitudes, petty and are nasty!! Facilities are dirty... facilities being the drink area, food area (if you can find your way around it), and the grounds in general. The young lady (cashier 912) was the only nice staff member. The absolute jerk Ethan working the food delivery area, when asked where my Dad's popcorn was, he point and barked at my Dad (senior citizen) and pointed at the other end of the counter "go get it!". This may seem trivial except, the "Pay" area is the "Order" area is the pickup area where my stale pretzels were delivered. Gorgeous theater! Of course, a lot has to do with the fact that it's brand new. I went just short of a week that they had been open, and there is still a lot of construction going on around the premises. Metropark square is still in the process of being built, and this AMC seems to be the first completed build in the square. Walking in, I felt like I was in an airport (not in a bad way). Very modern inside and I like that they have their ticket counter/kiosks inside, rather than the traditional outdoor booths. There's plenty of staff on hand, and they're very attentive. We had 2-3 of them come in during our movie (towards the end) with a broom and dustpan. It almost felt as if they were trying to rush us out so they could clean after the 6 of us that were in the theater at that time. I look forward to coming back to this theater once the Metropark square is completed! read more

Came here because another theatre was full. Was so disappointed. Heard the place was new and when we showed up the concessions were just too confusing on how to order anything. Once we ordered a regular popcorn it was almost $9, absolutely ridiculous. I go to a lot of movie theaters and I have never paid $9 for a popcorn! On top of that the counter was disgusting with popcorn and butter spilled everywhere, mind you it was the middle of the afternoon. Then when I entered our theatre there was still garbage left in it from the last showing. Overall a nice new theatre,but the cleanliness was just disappointing. read more

AMC Metropark Square 10 is very accessible right off of the I-45 North. The theater is new with reclining seats. So it is very clean and comfortable with plenty of parking. I took my niece and father to watch Jumanji the next level. My dad lost one of his leg from heart surgery. So he is now disabled and dose not get out much. It was sad to see people who are not handicapped sitting in the chairs designated for the disabled. Wish people would be more considerate. Than after the movie there was a family that just parked in the middle of a 2 lane road right in front of the theater waiting for someone in there group to come out of the movies. Just seam like it was Entitlement night at AMC Metropark Square 10. Maybe we'll have better luck next time. read more

Great theater the chairs lean all the way back to get comfy. You get to pick and reserve which seats you want to sit in at the time of buying your tickets. I will say one thing different I didn't like is that it's kiosk only for purchasing your tickets. I like customer service. Kiosk takes away jobs and the customer one on one. I may be old school, but I like it that way. The theater is really clean. The staff is very helpful and nice at the concessions. That's the only place you'll see staff. They do have a full bar as well as regular movie snacks. I would say this has been one of the nicest cleanest theaters I've been in and I would recommend other wanting to see a movie to check this place out you won't have any regrets. read more

I had high hopes for this place but I'm disappointed in the employees. They seem aloof and unfriendly. The place is all brand new but the cleanliness is already lacking. The bathroom was a mess with paper towels and water on the floor. On our way in the trash cans were over flowing and on our way out they still were. Management needs to train employees better. We went to the movies last evening at the MetroPark AMC in the Woodlands, and now days going to the movies has become an experience. It costs in the hundreds of dollars, but it is amazing seating, fresh hot snacks, drinks for the people who drink. All in all, it has become much more of an enjoyable experience and where we live this is also the case, maybe even more so. We have probably 6 theatres in a 5-mile radius, places like Reel in Market Street and Cinemark, etc. Last night was the most surreal evening and such a disappointment. We went to see Civil War at 7 at the Metro Park on Thursday April 11th and there was no one tending the bar or even capable of tending the bar and dozens of popcorns were all just sitting in buckets in the popcorn area. The theatre was not even close to being full and you could tell it had been sitting a while, but this isn't even the biggest problem. A couple people finally gave up and went into the movies after grumbling they had been sitting at the bar and the young woman that was supposed to serve them, all of the sudden just walked off and left them sitting there. After another 20 minutes they gave up because the manager told them she was the only one who could help, and she would be back (She walked off without ever serving them). I happen to be waiting for the snacks my wife and I ordered and asked when someone would be back to serve just a glass of wine, which my wife had asked me to get her. They said they didn't know, and their radios didn't work. She walked into the theatre and one of the girls assisting me with the food and all pointed out that she was back, so I walked over to the bar to get a glass of Chardonay. She almost begrudgingly sauntered from behind the ticket booth where she was on her phone to the bar, where I asked her for any Chardonay, they carry, she looked around for a while and said they were out, to which I said quote: "gosh, I know you don't do the purchasing but this is so ridiculous that AMC is always out of simple wines like that". I then asked her what my options were for whites and texted my wife to ask her which she preferred. Now the fun part, the girl then walked off from behind the bar without even a glance as she did to the customers before me and went to the main snack area and told her manager that I "made her feel uncomfortable". The manager then walked over and told me that I made her bartender uncomfortable, and she could not serve me now. BY the way, I don't drink, and I am not an aggressive person. I almost thought she was kidding, and I asked her what she meant. I repeated the whole interaction back to her as I did above, yes it was that short. She informed me she had to believe her bartender and I would not be able to be served. I then just walked off, because I knew I was going to lose any argument I had and being a 6ft 240-pound man, I also knew It would not be good optics, and it really just didn't matter. Honestly, this shocks me because I am always super friendly and tip amazingly because I know living on mostly tips is stressful. The movie ended and we left and as we walked out, I noticed she was no longer at the bar again and back behind the ticket booth on her phone. This was sort of the final straw, because the snacks are always stale and the staff have been rude multiple times, but never like this. My wife and I will take our business elsewhere and while we are just 2 customers, these types of things are a beachhead to bigger problems. Once word gets out that your employees do things like this and your management doesn't even talk to them about it, people will continue to go to your competition and write poor reviews. read more

I've been to a lot of movie theaters in my day, and this is one of the nicest anywhere. New, super comfortable seats with plenty of room in every theater, appropriately limited seating without sacrificing huge screen size (and distance to screen is really good). Excellent projection quality. Clean, tons of concession options (including what looks like a full bar). And it's like never crowded?? I kind of want to keep this a secret to myself, but that feels selfish. read more

I know, it's taking awhile, but I think the complex will be worth it. I'm not sure about all the traffic that it's going to bring. But, in general it'll be worth it. This AMC IMAX is one of my favorite locations to catch a movie. They are always clean. The theater rooms are typically not packed and people clean up behind themselves. The bathrooms could use more stalls. The registers could ALWAYS use more attendants. I think this mist be an AMC thing in general. I wish I would order my food via my app at this theater that is a con. And where are my Hot Tamales people! I just wanna enjoy my movie with a box of Hot Tamales. Why did AMC get rid of my candy? Other than that. We enjoy or time when we come here. Just waiting on line for snacks is ridiculous especially when I'm a premier PAYING customer. read more

This is my first time attending this. I am sad because I go to the one closer to spring. This is a really nice theater. It's big and comfortable seats nice and clean. The only downside is the theater was filled with trash behind the seats. The sound was really loud hurting my ears but the screen is really good. With good picture the pricing on the tickets were expensive $15 where I could watch it somewhere else for $5 and the snacks they had were disappointing because I purchased Dippin dots. They were $7 in a small size which was mini for you could get a bigger size for $5 somewhere else and the pretzels were so huge like a cake I couldn't even finish it I would just come here and bring my own snacks. Also, I would highly recommend to go to this movie theater because it is close to Dave and buster with little cafe shops to grab a treat read more

Brand new venue. Friendly and eager staff. Some kinks in the process getting into the IMAX show of Captain Marvel. It management smoothed it all out. This is not a true IMAX screen, but big enough to engross you. HUGE bonus is the inclusion of the electronic decking seats to bring you comfort of home. Lots of leg and elbow room round out a terrific experience. No arcade in side, not even a claw game to be seen However they do have a small bar, MacGuffin's, with your normal bar drinks and heavy influence of Miller/Coors for their tap selection of so called "craft" beers. I know they just opened, but some local brews, even if just by the bottle/can, would be great. Xscape just up the road has a really nice tap selection, but lacks the hard stuff. read more

AMC Metropark is a great addition to the Shenandoah area. The building itself is relatively small with only 6 theatres. The theatres themselves are nicely set up with plush recliner seats and plenty of leg room. I love that they have a full bar as well as your usual movie concessions. Prices are comparable to other theatres in the area If you go during matinee hours you can really save on your tickets. read more

Great place I go there all the time but today I had a little annoying issue to day while seeing Godzilla (theater5) my credit card got stuck under the seat I was able to get it but I just want to bring up the lack of staff there to help usually there's a group of one or two guys waiting for you to leave so they can clean but there wasn't would have been way easier if some one was there but it's all good I got it back and I saw a great movie! read more

Been here a few times and it was great. Tonight, however, it was an awful experience!! First off, nobody greeted us even though 2 employees were standing there. Then, we get our seats and they were broken (already!!!) The screen was so blurry I got an awful headache. I went to tell the same girl who never greeted us that the seat was broke and before I could say anything she said "we are working on theatre 5." I then told her about the seat and the blurry screen. She said to go see the young guy who was selling popcorn. I went over to him and she said to go ask the two greeter!! I went back to the original girl and she said "we will work on it!" My boyfriend and I moved seats. The movie was really loud that my ears are still ringing! And my eyes were watering from the blurry screen. I wasn't the only one to complain either. I went back out to ask the girl if they were working on the blurriness and she said "you can get a refund." Really?!? That's their answer and response?! The popcorn is never hot Bc they prepackaged it and the drinks were watered down from them not changing them out, I guess. I never have been more disappointed I going to the movies. :( read more
