Went to 10 a.m. Spiderman movie. The doors and windows at the entrance are disgusting. I wouldn't touch them with my hands. It look like someone had licked their hands and wiped them all of the place. The drink area was filthy.....not as filthy as I have seen them. The popcorn tasted old and stale....do better! read more

This was our first experience at this movie theater. We went for a 6 PM showing on a Tuesday and we're pleasantly surprised to find out that all movies cost $8. The saved us about $16 which was enough to buy ourselves, a large popcorn and a frozen Coke icyee to share. The space could've been cleaner considering that there were no more than 25 cars in the parking lot, but I have seen a lot worse. read more

This theater is due for some major upgrades! Our seats were falling apart. There was one staff at the concession counter, and NO staff at all to take our tickets. I was just mostly grossed out by the seats. There was leftover food from I guess another movie (probably from another day even, it looked old) in our cup holders, the bottom of our seats were coming apart, many of the headrests on the seats were torn and completely missing the vinyl. It was not clean at all, very poor condition! Also, there were flying bugs in the theater too. I wouldn't come here again. read more

Expensive theater that claims to have the biggest screen in town (80 feet wide and three stories tall). Appears to be true. However, they use the same projector as a normal theater screen would use leading to a noticeably dim image on the screen. Expensive tickets. And Expensive concessions. read more

Why 4 stars? Because it was a good return to the movies experience for us. --- --- --- Our son was born in December of 2018. My wife and I did not visit a movie theater from *sometime* before 2018 until May of 2023. Having a child certainly changes your lifestyle, and counting on our son to be quiet and behave for 90 minutes was not something we thought would be feasible until now. We had recently gotten him to go away from the typical drivel he likes to watch on YouTube and actually watch the Trolls movies, so we felt decently optimistic that he would make it through Super Mario Brothers. It turned out, he did, and we were able to officially make our return to the movies. As for the theater itself, before our long movie hiatus, we had gotten spoiled and would only visit theaters with the nice recliner seats. I didn't even realize that Xscape was one of those theaters, but it turned out to be, which was nice. It's like sitting first class, but for only a few more bucks. Money is well spent when it goes toward being able to elevate your feet. We likely won't be at the movies again anytime soon, but it will definitely be sooner than 5 years from now. Next time it does happen, it will likely be here! read more

There hasn't been a review in years that I saw for this movie theater. My family told me that "cinemark is better" but that this one was fine, so I decided to try it out with my nieces to watch Sing 2 since cinemark is another 20 minute drive. I bought tickets online, which I probably didn't need to and it adds a service fee to the already high priced tickets. That was actually the reason for the loss of a star. I guess I haven't been to the movies in awhile, but the adult matinee price was 9.00$ and the kid matinee price was $8.75, as well as the military discount ticket. Military gets 25 cent discount? Seems a little disrespectful. Honestly kids should be more expensive than adults since they are untamed. Anyway, also the snacks are pricey which is the usual. The popcorn though was totally worth it. It's the drinks that are overpriced. The popcorn was SO GOOD. I don't even like popcorn and the movie popcorn I usually do but it's always so greasy with butter. This had a butter taste without the grease. I would go in to order another bag just to snack on while not in the movies. Theater was perfectly nice. Big comfy chairs that are adjustable to lean back. Large screen and I liked the sound it wasn't blowing my eardrums out like most movies. I had a great time and the movie was so adorable too. read more

Do not go here. They have an armed security guard who began pushing me and then put his hand on his gun. Then when I asked to speak to the manager, he pushed me to the ground twice and would not give me the room to get up. The General Manager called this morning 3/1/25 and was very curt and would not even offer an apology for the events that occurred. read more

Went to Chosen and this was the best Matinee timing for a 3 hour, wonderful movie. The tickets for two Seniors were $27.00 for a medium drink and a large popcorn another $17.00. How do young people date now? The seats were very comfortable, but I miss the tray available at other theaters. People were nice and the Popcorn got a refill! The theater is always clean when we have been, they keep it at a good temperature, and the seats are so comfy! Tip: buy the tickets there so you don't have to pay the online processing fees per ticket. read more

Theater is nice. I like that the chairs recline. The sound could have been better. You get your tickets at a kiosk and pick your seats. The young people working the concession need to be aware of health risk. A guy sneezed then made my popcorn for the girl that was ringing out stuff up and I told her I wanted a new one. She did and was very nice about it. I don't get the point of wearing gloves, taking money and fixing nachos or popcorn. What's the purpose? Overall the theater itself is nice. read more

Paid extra for XR and they had volume turned down low and sound was only at front of theater. I had to complain twice but worst part it that particular XR theater most definitely has fleas. I could only stand to be there for 20 mins before running out to go shower at home. Now I have to be concerned about fleas in my car and bringing them into my home. The seats are all torn up and the place is very dirty. There were flies all over as well. This experience has ruined the movie going experience. I will just rent movies at home instead of risking fleas and who knows what else. I'm disgusted. read more

Felt dirty and looked dirty - the bathroom was gross. Recliner seats were fine (there was a whole chicken sandwich under though). Good variety of concession but the churro bites were gross. 2 tickets to insidious was $28 and 2 tickets to Friday the 13th (flashback cinema - which was cool) was $15 different days/times. read more

The theater is nice and clean, however it was very cold even with our blankets it was like no heating at all.

Ugh, so I came to see a Star is Born and since this was the only theatre that wasn't sold out we came here. The movie gets 5 stars but when you go to a theatre where the lights from the stairs are glaring in your face while your'e trying to watch a movie? No bueno! Fix this mess! Luckily there were empty seats so we moved off the aisle row to sit more in the middle. The theatre was big and it didn't feel like the screen was big enough. I won't be coming back. read more

Very clean, tip top shape. I see these reviews for how dirty it could be but I swear every time I went there, which was often, it was very nice and clean. The employees are nice and the ushers are very very good at their jobs! I would recommend just to watch the usher masters at their craft. Very good read more

Fantastic new movie spot along 1488 in Magnolia, TX. Lounge chairs, reserved seating, lots of parking and a friendly staff. Went to see a movie tonight and they weren't very crowded, and enjoyed the show even though we weren't in one of the xtreme theaters with better picture and sound. Nice to have these guys in the neighborhood. read more

Theatre was dirty and I went during the first showing of the day. Popcorn and food was under the seats. Bathroom was dirty so I could only imagine how it looked behind the food counter. We planned to rent a theater for my son's birthday. The manager was very responsive with my emails and questions. It was super easy, clean, and our guests had a wonderful time. We chose the option to bring our own movie to watch (a much cheaper option than new release). My son said he loved having his birthday there with his friends! Cheap place to see movies. Quality seats and sound. Concessions can be slow and the line for tickets is automated and some of the machines seem to be broken. If you live off of 1488 it's convenient and cheap. If you want nice go somewhere else. read more

I went to xscape theater on 1488 conroe tx yesterday. They quit selling the small popcorn. Now you have to buy atleast a medium. F##king BS. I cant even eat half of a medium. Great theaters, super comfortable electronic recliners and very very clean... Brand new to the area, and a great location. Concessions could use work...just the usual old school movie fare. They're applying for beer/wine so that could be coming soon. Best thing, the recliners...plus the awesome sound system and HUGE screens (mini-IMAX like) make this place a go to for movies. read more

Lobby was filthy at 11 a.m. on a weekday. Popcorn all over floor, floor sticky in front of drink area. Our shoes actually stuck to the floor. The actual theater itself appeared to be clean. Great new theater catering to the neighborhood recently opened. I saw Sicario 2 and Ant-Man & the Wasp this week using my #MoviePass. The chairs are plush and they are recliners. Popcorn is one free refill when you buy a large. Nice service people as well All around a great experience and I'll certainly be back. read more

It is VERY rare I go to see a movie. I had a movie I had to see. Bohemian Rhapsody, drew me in. This was my very first, reclining seat in a theater experience. Told ya, it's rare. LOL. The place was very nice, clean and our interaction with the staff wasn't especially memorable but that works both ways, our expectations were fully met. The movie was absolutely Oscar worthy and my date and I enjoyed our "cuddle time," as we enjoyed the show. The place was clean, not flashy, and good at what they do. Why not a 5? Not sure, as I said, expectations met. Maybe my first experience printing my own tickets at the movies just lacks the personal touch to this old timer. I'd prefer something similar to "Flash Seats," that are so popular at concerts. read more

We always went to Silverado until they sold;( I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Nice big seats, wide rows so no one is kicking your dang seat! Popcorn is good and I love me an ICEE!!
