The lights are good, the music (techno/techno-ey pop) is right down my alley, the drinks are strong, the drag shows are fun, and the shirtless bartenders are ohsonice to look at...err I mean talk to. Only a couple minor downsides: $5 cover for everyone every time we've been (not bad but very few bars charge cover in BCS) and drinks are more expensive compared to other BCS bars. Just a small price to pay in exchange for the kind of atmosphere that you won't be able to find anywhere else in this small town.

No single women want to go here due to the location and staff. Men take a chance at your own risk. The worst part about this place is they want you to sign up for a monthly membership and even after you cancel they will continue to charge your account until you call them. $120 for single me is crazy. It looked dark, clubbish, and fun (exactly what I was looking for) and I couldn't wait to come here. After a 25 minute Uber ride we were downtown and walking to our destination. At first we could not find it but thankfully a nice gentlemen showed us where it was. Upon walking in, darkness with these bright lights paved our way. We sat down at the bar, but realized dancing did not start until 10pm. The bartender came over and said to us "we have a speakasy behind door #3" we were like WHAT! Let's go. So, we walked down the dark hallway and pushed open door #3 (hence the name) to find this super cool speakeasy bar. Dim lights, really modern decor, comfy suede chairs and best of all, some really great cocktails. If you are ever in Downtown Houston, I highly recommend you coming here. I promise you will have the best time. We did not stay for dancing.

The crowd was a bit older, probably in their 50s and 60s, and everybody was very respectful. They served food, the drinks were fairly priced, and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The only thing I didn't really like is the smoking inside of the club. I'm not a big fan of indoor smoking let alone secondhand smoking.

I got there on the early side, around 10pm to catch the beginning of people whirling in a country western two-step around the dance floor. My feelings about returning to my Texas hometown are always quite mixed, but two-stepping really feels like home. The decor is very Texan and people are really dressed the part. Love the cowboy hats and boots, and I felt really at home in my daisy dukes. Closer to midnight, the music starts trending more ratchet, shall we say. Someone recently asked me "whatever happened to grinding?" and let me tell you, it is alive and well in H-town. Loved the mix of hip hop and country, and I'd definitely come back for a Latin night. A great mix of a crowd, and people were friendly and invited me onto the dancefloor even though I'm not a regular. My friend and I had some whiskeys that were not finished, and the staff collected them while we were dancing. Didn't love that.

As an older guest, I was heavily peer-pressured by my kids into taking a turn on the bull! Getting on the equipment proved to be much more challenging than it looks for the younger crowd, but the operator was exceptionally kind and discreet. He quietly assisted me by offering his knee as a step-up to help me get on, which made a nerve-wracking moment significantly less intimidating and embarrassing. Throughout the evening, he remained consistently engaging, friendly, and patient, even as the area grew busy. Outstanding customer service like his truly stands out. Thank you for making a memorable family celebration even more special!
