This is my second review for Main Event, my rating has reduced from the first visit. We had to reset our lane 5 times in the 90 minutes we played. They didn't have any waitresses to take orders at the lanes, taking away from play time having to run to bar. We were also informed that the pins will be transitioned to pin setter strings soon which will make the experience less authentic when it comes to real bowling. This place is severely understaffed, all of the employees look and sound like they want to kill themselves (presumably because they're surrounded with bad ass kids all day), there's long wait times and you have to sign up to do anything. The games in the arcade don't work and will still use up any points on your card. The food is straight out of a microwave as well. The only positive was the pizza from the Italian place. That pizza was pretty bomb. read more

Main Event is a solid FUN Zone! You put your credit on a card that you swipe in each machine to buy games. They have ample parking, even take buses, they cater to large groups, it's a great way for team building, they even have a complete bowling alley. With a restaurant and bar you're all taken care of under one roof. Our first time here we had the pleasure of being served by Lynn, just fantastic guest service! We were sold after being taken care of by Lynn. Lynn is funny, real and for the company and guest, Lynn knows how to walk the line. They have group rooms and pool tables (the large tournament ones) in the bat/Restaurant area. They serve hamburgers, fries, wings, pizza, flatbreads, sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads and much more. read more

Horrible, my friend wanted to order a drink so I try ordering one for him. The server asked for an id from anyone didn't specify so the ONE that was going to drink the drink gave their id then they take 30 min so I go up to the bar asking where the drink is and then 2 min later she comes up saying since I ordered I needed to give my id and I was okay? So I don't have mine on me but I showed her a picture and then shes like okay then comes back and then was like I can't serve you the manager thinks it's weird or something I don't know don't make any sense what so ever. Main event didn't do it for me. To start off is pricey, and the tab adds up pretty quickly. We chose to do bowling & order some food. The team member at the desk by bowling area was so short and rude. We rented our lane for 1HR & wanted to order food and a server never came, he was in a corner chitchatting with another employee so we went and asked the guys at the desk for help. His response was "someone will come soon" it took another 20mins for them to take our order. The food came by the time our play time was over, my husband's beer was never served YET we were charged for it so we had to have the server revise our bill. The service wasn't good, but it is a busy place so I think management should ensure there is always more than one server taking orders. In my opinion just not worth what you pay at the end of the day. read more

Three stars for the food service that could've been better; room temperature fries that had to be sent back and brought back slightly better. Dylan did everything in his power to make everything right but there was only so much he could do. His actions and customer service was 5 stars alone and Shalom was very nice and helped to make the experience better. The ambiance was overwhelming for me personally but fitting for their objective; make money and allow the kids to be kids. My neice and her friends had fun and I made the most of it. The equipment is old and breaks often on the bowling lanes. We had to change lanes because the bumpers wouldn't work on the first lane. We waited 10 minutes for that to happen. Then the second lane had the same problem. Then midway through bowling the bowling balls did not come back out. Another ten minutes to get that fixed so all in all for one hour of bowling we paid for we got to use 40 minutes of bowling. Not a very good deal. read more

I have been coming to this location since opening the place can be a hit or miss at times I have been here when there is no crowds and when its a zoo. main event does have some good games and good bowling but I feel as big as this place is its not enough arcade games everything is spread out. sometimes arcade games tend to not work and always have to locate someone to help and no one seems to be around other then the prize room area. the claw machines are always overstuffed and claw doesn't grab anything, claw machines are the biggest scam doesn't matter what arcade you go to. I have been here to celebrate birthdays through out the years, the kids love it but the adults don't, I don't recommend eating at the restaurant we have ate here on numerous occasions, we would wait for a very long time for food and drinks there is absolutely no organization although there are waiters and waitress seems to be somethings lacking in that area. I do like the cleaniness of the place and restrooms are clean and the upkeep is pretty good. the place does lack in some areas but overall not bad. just don't go on busy nights like Friday and Saturday or holidays and do not eat at this place if you like to wait. read more

Came here today when it was not too busy. We were directed to the bowling area which is what we came to do and then when we got there the guy sent us back to the front to reserve everything..? We had a party of around 12 people. The man working the desk was kind but did not seem to have control over anything in regards to the lanes and shoes being issued so I'm not sure what he's actually there for. They put ONE and I mean ONE young girl on serving 22 lanes of people! Cannot be anymore mismanaged than just that but there's more. Bowling shoes are to be worn at all times or no bowling... if that is the case then why did our shoes take 30 minutes to arrive to our lane yet our time had already become? The man with the shoes walked past with them on a cart multiple times! And looked at us and said "I'm not even gonna ask" and walked away lol so yeah that's crazy. The technician had to come to our lane multiple times because pins continued to stick yet our time was not stopped or timed backwards for THEIR machine problems. Woman standing by the "party" area with absolutely ZERO parties were standing on their phones and doing nothing to help the girl who was trying to take care of everybody all by herself! Lazy! Distasteful if you think about it. What looked to be "veteran servers" walking around letting her drown in questions and running around and not a single person stepped in to help. Multiple staff members walking around acting like they don't see people needing help is crazy. Management here is awful. Everything seems jumbled and it seems that there are no protocols in place for what could be such a gem in our community. Save your time and go elsewhere. Don't waste your money on the food either bc the pictures are absolutely not what you will receive. HOWEVER the only saving grace to such a piss poor staff team was the young lady -who after having had a bit of an overwhelming experience herself- pulled together a positive serving experience for the children and adults present. She apologized for the other members of the team and even thanked me for talking her through such a shit show because I was a server too and that was just bad management- she did nothing wrong. Came here for a birthday party. The beer was cold, the pizza sucks. It tastes like a Ceas..pizza knock off. After a certain time in the evening, kids are supposed to be accompanied, but you see them running about. Main Event some ok games and some VR games also if you find one that is working. I think the best attraction is the Sky Rail course. Still have credits on my card so will try out another location. read more

Be careful when you purchase concessions with cash. My niece paid for her food which totaled to about $16 with $100 bill, and the cashier kept her change. She tried to convince my niece (who is a teenager) that she paid with a $20 bill. We spoke to the officer on duty and the manager who ended up covering for the cashier. He said he looked at the camera, and we weren't allowed to see them. While the cashier probably needed the money more than my niece, it's still about morals. They know what they did, and it is not right. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Our group paid for 56 kids to have pizza and fun. Only 33 were able to make the trip. We did not ask for an adjustment but thought our kids would have sufficient pizza since we PAID for 56 students. Under the pricing, students were to receive 2 slices each. That means there were 23 servings paid for, a total of 46 slices of pizza extra for our kids to eat. Instead of giving us the paid for extra pizza the manager on duty said we could not have it and proceeded throwing it into the trash. My students and the adults were in shock. If they needed the space, they should have put the pizza in boxes so our kids could eat at their convenience. This place has definitely went downhill over the last year. Poor management and customer service. We will be looking for a new venue for our field trips next year. read more

Do not waste your money here. Spent over $40 for 3 of us to get game passes and $60 for bowling and half the games don't work. I can't even attach all the pictures of the broken games that how many:( Was told we would have to wait 2 hours for bowling, then at the 2 hour mark I went to check and we were still number 12 in line. Went to check 30 minutes later and we were number 14!! How did our spot in line go from 12 to 14?! The food and service is unhygienic. talk about a joke. food was mediocre and we ordered a lot. deep dish pizza tasted like cardboard. the spinach and artichoke dip needed seasoning, was really lacking flavour. the nashville hot chicken sandwich was more like a valentina hot chicken sandwich. paid $23 per person for "all activities" AND paid for a round of bowling, but with 5 people time expired and they wouldn't even let us finish. what did we pay for then? plenty of lanes sat open but we were told there was a 2 hour wait. a LOT of the games were broken. the joysticks didn't work or the centering of the games were off. what a waste of time and money. i prefer to leave good reviews but i'd rather take my money elsewhere. read more

Came here on a Friday, we had two lanes reserved. Our order was messed up TWICE then we ordered wings that after 45 mins we had to walk up to bar to get and it was just sitting there. It's a shame that this location isn't very good and SEVERELY poorly managed. The place was dirty and everything was sticky. Most of the games were broken or out of order, we ended up having to wait forever in line 4 times to get refunds for games that didn't work. When we tried to get something to eat, the host kept ignoring us until we had to ask to get a table and then he wouldn't give us any menus and then we were ignored by the server completely. We eventually just got up and left because the table was gross, covered in food still. They hadn't bothered to bus the table completely before seating us. The staff was highly overwhelmed; seemed like one manager and a bunch of teens running the whole place. Parents weren't controlling their kids at all; they'd cut in front of other people, grabbing prizes from the prize area then running off with them, throwing food/drinks on other people, etc. Finally, the cherry on top was the fight between grown adults that broke out during someone's birthday. For the prices, it wasn't a very good experience. read more

Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a few friends. We didn't have to wait long to be seated in the restaurant, it was seating for my party of 8 and our waitress Erin was beyond accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu! She was working A LOT of tables and we never felt like we was being forgotten about. Highly recommend her as a server and she should be the example of what great customer service and treating customers like family should be!!! My only complaint is the gift shop they never have prizes in my child's budget that's worth all the money spent. That marketing I guess lol! read more
