It's been forever since I went bowling so I picked up a group of 8, bought a Groupon deal and for $9.5pp including shoes it was quite worth it! I miss the $5 pp for two hour deals bowling alleys used to have precovid. But this was a steal price! Bowling alley food just like movie theater food price is jacked up so this is to be expected and don't be surprised. Peers ordered sides and they were miniature for the price they charge. Old school lanes and software - need to manually pick up bumpers, can't edit names once entered, if you left it blank it stays blank. Can't have some players use bumpers and others don't since it's manually picked up. Balls are extremely greasy. Lanes are as well since I fell twice then decided to change shoes. Floor has a bump right before the lane starts - guessing a lot of people dropped the balls here. They use Tables and chairs instead of the soft lounge seating There are a Tons of tables and chairs that you can move around if you have a large group. read more

Overall experience 5/10. I decided to reserve a lane since it was Saturday and the holiday weekend. We get to the lane and, I can only update one player's name. We go to the desk to advise; problem solved no worries. $116 for a party of 4. $77 for 1 pizza, two orders of wings, 2 beers and a soda. Ordered food at 8:45, bowled two games and by this time it's 9:45. We have the lane until 10:30. Checked on the order a few times only to be told that it was coming up! Listen! The pizza came out at 10:15! Why? How? WHAT? They brought someone's Parmesan wings to us instead of what we ordered. No accountability or responsibility whatsoever! Pizza was burnt but, the wings were decent. Customers that came in after us and clearly ordered after we did received their food first. Please clean the women's restrooms! Trash was overflowing which means there are no periodical checks or cleanings during business hours. Gross. read more

We ordered a lane online in advance. (I did notice that you did save with paying in advance than the prices they offered when you get there.) We checked in and got our shoes. I would say this is your standard bowling hall. They had plenty of TVs as well. A couple times our games had to be reset because the bowling balls got stuck. The first time they were not coming back at all. 5 of our balls were stuck and we waited a while for them to correct that. Then again where the pins get swept up, a ball got stuck down in the back and just kept spinning. So once again we waited for a while for them to reset that. Glad we were not playing by the hour. We prepaid for a number of games. They really need to revamp the menu. It's very simple: mozzarella sticks, pepperoni pizza, burger, chicken sandwich. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich thinking that the actual patty would be spicy. The "spicy" was a mayonnaise that they barely put on the bun. I had to ask for extra spicy Mayo, jalapeño and pickles to fix it up. No lettuce or tomato. They got rid of "fresh produce" when Covid hit and never brought it back. Everything takes a long time with their kitchen, even bringing extra condiments took more than 10 min. I did like the garlic Parmesan fries. The watermelon lemonade tasted like watermelon jolly rancher. Overall we still had a good time bowling with our family and had a healthy competition going. read more

Had such a great time here! The whole place feels inviting, clean, and really well taken care of. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, which makes it perfect whether you're hanging out with friends or spending time with family. Do not book event for bowling - just reserve a lane or show up. My daughter is a Canadian citizen and used to live in Texas and is studying in Virginia. Over the holidays she stopped in Texas on the way home for Christmas. She wanted to get to together with friends and decided on bowling at AMF - a place she has been to frequently. She booked with Lucky Strip Entertainment a subsidiary of Bowlerocorp. A third party booking agency for local bowling lanes. Plans changed and I called to cancel the reservation 4 days prior. It appears that they have a non cancellation policy 30 days prior to event. Policy also states you are responsible for full contract fees. A fact buried deep in the contract in small print written in a confusing way as to misdirect the consumer. It is ridiculous for a bowling alley to have such a complicated contract to reserve a couple of lanes. The booking was for 15 people on 4 lanes for 90 minutes with 2 pizzas and unlimited soft drinks (almost $500 which I believe is expensive). Not a big party by any means. I am sure they did not have to bring in extra staff for such a small event, nor stock up the kitchen for the pizza. When discussing the cancellation, I was dismissed by the sales person (Christine Contreras). I asked to have a manager call me to discuss. I specifically asked the call to come directly to me - not my daughter. The manager (Tina Bernardo) instead called my daughter and proceeded to harass and make her feel uncomfortable for not being able to make the event and insisting she had to be there. After calling to express my displeasure with her actions I was treated rudely and again offered no options for cancellation. I reasonably stated I was comfortable with a cancellation fee but that the event was not happening. She did offer to reschedule to a venue near my daughters college. I agreed but it appears the offer is only good to Dec 29. As my daughter is home (out of the country) until the New Year this does not work. I requested Jan 5 but was told no. As of now, I have paid a 50% deposit which I do not expect to have returned, owe the balance, and my daughter is not bowling. Poor customer service stay away! read more

Came here for a friends bday. They gave us lane #7 and the ball retrieval machine doesn't work. The guards won't go up and we keep going to the desk for help. We requested to be changed lanes and they eventually did. We were moved to lane 4 which was already assigned to someone else. This was just a headache. Not fun. read more

I'm not certain how many people even know this place exist! You will find this place only by accident or if you live in the area. Oddly enough, the place is right off interstate 45. Groupon led me to this place and I'm not upset about it. I see this is a smoke free environment...good...that means family friendly for all ages. The accommodations are not state of the art, high tech, but digital to nonetheless. The music has a pretty good lineup, but only half the speakers work! There is a variety of food to choose from which includes kids specials. Nachos were purchased that had an assortment of toppings including chili, guacamole, olives and more. Leave the chili off the nachos. It completely ruins the taste! The lanes themselves is very fast and the floor is super slippery! I refused to fall in front of my very silly children! Speaking of silly children, if they just so happen to bring 1 sock instead of a pair, you can purchase socks for $3 plus tax. All in all, this place will give you fun for the family and they have plenty of specials so just ask. The kids enjoy the neon lanes that seemingly just randomly start. Sign up for the email club to get coupons and find the Groupon and head this way. Make sure you bring a jacket because the air conditioner works overtime! I went here yesterday to have a good time with some friends and family. This is a pretty nice place. it's a bit small also, it was packed with people and I barely had space to play on my own lane. Even when I was sitting down at a table, people kept bumping into me. and another thing the food options are poor. I ordered the wings that that came with the combo. It was a bit pricey $37 and they were a bit dry and hard not worth the money but it is a fun place to go there for people who live nearby Richy Rd but if you really wanna have fun and enjoy the large spaces I do recommend it's family fun center it's better and cheaper read more

A lot of league bowlers come to these lanes for good reason. The lanes are well maintained and well lit. So far no issues with the ball return either. Most people here know what they're doing so they know about bowlers courtesy and wait to throw their ball once the other person is done. Staff has been great so far, though the pro shop has extremely limited hours. The kitchen looks a little on the sketchy side so I haven't tried out any food, but the drinks seem to be okay. Get a small and just refill as needed to save on cash. If there's a party and you're a serious bowler, they do dim the lights and it gets super dark. Definitely too dark to try and aim at the lines. I just wish this location was closer to where I live or else I would come here more often. read more

I love bowling here with the league I'm involved in. However, there seems to be an issue with the a/c circulation. It makes no sense why one side of the alley is at nuclear heat and the other side is the North Pole. The ceiling fans do not help the issue one bit. It makes for a very uncomfortable bowling experience. I shouldn't be sweaty sticky and moist for the 2/3 hours I spend in there. I'm aware of upgrades happening at the alley and I'm hoping this will be part of the upgrades that take place. read more

I went here on October 2nd and it was jam packed with people. Thinking it would be fun my group booked a lane, got our shoes, and started bowling. Then there was a continuous problem with the machine not sending the bowling balls back for us to use again. We told the staff multiple times over the course of two games and most of the night we were sitting there with an out of order machine and nothing to do but wait for staff. It took them to the end of our last game to finally move us to a different lane. They were very unresponsive and made most of our night a waiting game. read more

Not once did I see anyone sanitize the tables on Saturday 3/27 and there was a large tournament folks from many states and cities and no sanitizing from 9:00 am - 4:30pm I had to sanitize my own tables. The food is expensive and not tasty at all. Please put into place a policy that will protect us bowlers as well as your employees. There was no water pressure in the restrooms for proper hand washing. You are contributing to a major pandemic (in a bad way). Would not recommend this bowling alley to anyone!!!!! The new front of house staff is the absolute worst. They do not care about the league bowlers that are consistently in the alley for 30+ weeks. They cop an attitude when you try to ask for help with lane problems. Plus, they either do not train or just care not to learn the operating system. The alley it's self is falling apart!! Half of the keypads are broken and you have to have the front desk fix the little issues. If it rains, a good majority of the lanes turn into a swimming pool. Now yes, the major repairs have to be done by corporate, but these have been a issues known for over a year. read more

We were thinking that we were only playing 3 games with 9 people WRONG... total was 280$ for maybe 2-3 hours of bowling! If you want to get ripped off go here! i love this bowling alley... i really do. glad i found a new hobby and have meet some cool people but, if you come make sure you bring some water, some ice, a portable fan, a mobile ac if you have it, wear a tank top, shorts, and bring a towel, wear bright colored clothing, leave the front and back door open to create a lil breeze or take frequent breaks outside and don't sit by the kitchen, bring super soakers and slip-n-slide to have a wet-n-wild time while bowling because whether it's winter, summer, spring, or fall, it will be hot inside that alley. read more

We went on a Tuesday night. For a family of 6 it was about 38 bucks for 2 games. Not bad at all! My son had ordered a pretzel from the food stand. Took forever and a day, then they tell us they never made it and we would be refunded. About 5 minutes later, they came and brought his pretzel and apologized. Also gave us cookies! Really nice staff. Only reason I give it 4 stars, was the smell. I'm guessing back in the day people smoked like crazy there because the smell is super strong. I mean now it's a smoke free place. A group of friends and I went there this past Saturday Nov 27. Horrible experience definitely would not come back to this place. For starters we ordered food as soon as we got our lanes. Ordered wings and pizza. Took them over an hour to bring our food out. Then when it arrived our wings were cold. And our pizza was burnt! I ended up with food poison. Horrible horrible service!! Not only that half our food was missing. We ordered 4 orders of wings and special fries that didn't come out & when we went to tell them they claimed everything was brought out, which we showed receipts and they still wouldn't bring them unless we placed another order. Our Bowling experience was Also frustrating as our lane kept getting stuck. My bowling friend and I are from out of town. I do not bowl, and was waiting for a friend to get out of church, she would be picking me up at 1:00 to go shopping. My bowling friend and I were there on Oct. 10 for Buzzard's Club. We arrived at 12:10. Being that I had a long time to wait for my shopping friend to pick me up, I ordered a cup of coffee at the kitchen window. First of all, the young black woman tried to charge me for two cups. Then she said she had to brew fresh coffee. At 1:00 when I had to leave, I still did not get my coffee. From 12:15-1:00 O'clock, I have never known coffee needed that much time to brew. I had told her that I needed to leave at 1:00. Each time I asked for the coffee, she would tell me that it was brewing. read more
