Delorean Car with awesome Back to the Future license plate.

The idea of an old fashioned Arcade is awesome. There are games here that bring up childhood memories. The nostalgia is awesome. It's a cool idea, if executed correctly. I understand it is hard to keep old games functional. There are not many parts available to keep old games running smoothly. And that is where it was a bit frustrating to me. Many of the games are worn out and not playable. I played Street Fighter 2 and it was so glitchy, I left it and moved on. Other games are simply bad. But, hey, the price is great. $15 for all day play! I used to spend that much on one game back in the 80's and 90's!

    Plenty of open games!

This was the cutest place to be! Took a group of 12 seniors, and got an amazing rate for all you can play. Unfortunately had only an hour to burn, but they made the most of it! You can even host a party in the back room, which just may be happening soon considering the fact that they can entertain themselves while I plant myself behind a pinball machine somewhere in the corner. Highly recommend! Even took a picture out front with the DeLorean. My only suggestion is to place it in a photo worthy spot! We were lucky that a car had left the spot next to it.

This place was so much fun. Came here to have a date night with my hubby and they have a lot to explore! As soon as you walk in, the nostalgia sets in and you're transported to the 80s. There is a disco ball in the center and 80s music playing. The cost is $15 per person for the day, so no need for coins. It is also BYOB, so some folks had little coolers with their favorite drinks. There are several rows of pinball machines and a variety of arcade games. Our favorites were Super Mario, Donkey Long, Bubble Bobble, Space Invaders, NBA Jam, Punch Out, Pac Man, and Galaga to name a few. If you're looking for a low cost spot to have fun, this is located in The Woodlands.

Pinball machines, many of which are not working

Great concept but unfortunately not the best experience. At least half the machines advertised on the website were off or not working. Drove all the way from Katy to play specific pinball machines, most of which were not functional. Of the ones that were on, some of them are in disrepair. Won't be coming back.

Best kept secret in The Woodlands! So much fun. Only $15 for a day pass, all games are on free play (no quarters needed), and BYOB and food. Makes family fun affordable. Thank you, TGP!

Overall a great place if you were ever a gamer! If you grew up in the 1980's, 1990's, or even early 2000's, this is a place you have to visit. I opted for the day game pass for only $15 and it is worth it (no coins needed!) Game Preserve has lots of arcade games and pinball machines. All the games are retro but they all seem to be in working order. There were a few games that were out of service or the buttons didn't work (Teenage Mutant Turtle game) but overall in great working condition given how many years these games have been around. Overall, an excellent place for any gamer!

Fun spot to go to with quite a few games to play! It's $15 for the whole day per person. They had racing, darts/Cornhole (video game version), pinball, and various other old school games. It was a ton of fun just wished the AC was better inside as it was quite warm

Great owners. They care about preserving 80s games. All CRTs. I would like more 90s fighting games but that's just me.

It is a bunch of computers with a gaming headset, keyboard, and mouse. We had to ask a bunch of questions and ultimately decided on a hour of play. Let me first state I am not a gamer so this review is based on my non-gaming perspective. We selected two computers but one was not working so we had to shift so we could be next to each other. We chose our computer and had to setup our accounts, I think that took away from our hour. My kid wanted to play Fortnite and it took a while to login and get started but we were able to use accounts that were licensed from the store or you could use your own. I decided to switch to Among Us about half way in and the chat was LOUD. I used the sound key on the keyboard but it barely changed a thing, there was no volume control on the headset so I took it off. After 2.5 rounds my time was up so I just waited for my child to finish. As we were leaving a noticed the once 25% full place was about at 75% so it can fill up quickly and we went on a Sunday afternoon. Would I go back, maybe but bring a jacket, it was freezing.

Hey, not bad for a 10 series card graphics computer set. Though would be nice as well and I wish, if you have the space and area to dedicate to have some people bring their own setups and stuff. ::Pros:: + Nice, cozy gaming environment + Computers are solid, and the fact that you have old-school arcade stuff is a bonus + Rates are comfy with bonus times on 7 dollars on an hour charge, and the further you seem to get to it, the more discounted it gets. ::Cons:: - Nothing much really, but just watch out and inform the guy in front if your computer crashes (it's a ggleap thing). He'll happily help you oit.

Bring your friends, bring…read more your geek date or just bring your pinball/video arcade craving self, there is something for everybody here. If you are familiar with the name, then yes, this is a test pilot of things to come for future models like this and counterpart to the one located in the Cypress area. Syd told me that this is just a testing mule to see if this concept works for future Sword and Superheroes locations. To put into perspective to where this is, reset your odometer and give it 5 miles from Deerbrook Mall, 10 miles from Beltway 8/ 59 North and a million miles from a care in the world once you've immersed yourself in here. Once you land on North Park Drive you should drive down about two miles heading East until you see a Napa Auto Parts, it's directly across the street from that. Parking is tiny, there are about 6 spaces in the front, but additional spaces on the left side. Once inside you will probably run into Syd who is running the business and will go great measures to make sure you are accommodated and your questions answered. Do you like Pinball? There are three machines right in the lobby as you enter and one video pinball with 150 games programmed into it, to the left there you will see about 8 cabinets of multi arcade games which should satisfy all of your childhood memories and keep you busy while not worrying about any quarters to lose. What is the price you ask? As of today the price is $4 per half an hour of all you can plan (Arcade and Pinball), $6 per hour and the best value if you plan to stay awhile $15 from open to cerrado. As you walk to the back of the business to the left you'll see a room full of cards, game figurines and such aka hobby games. To the right is a kitchen looking area with lots of board games, tables to eat on, a freezer with Ice Cream sundries and other snacks. A little door on the right is the mini restroom. Back out into the hallway and continue towards the back and further to the left is the LAN area, do you even LAN Bro? It's obvious what it is when you pass and see about 10 monitors with miles of wires connecting each other. Back on out of there and open the last door to the back and you've entered the Laser Tag arena with four tables to the sides for tabletop RPG games. This is where the fun begins if you have two or more people with you, yes I said two minimum, not four like other places. If you are on a date you can test his/her physical abilities a little with a little friendly game of duck and shoot. Have fun kids, this is for you! Prices advertised are.... ============== $8 for 1 game (approx 5 to 10 minutes) $15 for 3 games (approx 30 minutes) $20 for 6 games (approx 60 minutes) Per person. Basic rules: 1) No running (unless being chased by a naked dude that has had his share of bath salts 2) Both hands on gun (No running around pistol style while scratching your sweaty buttocks) 3) Do not touch the barricades (And do not touch yourself) 4) Keep a 3' distance from other players (No kissing) 5) No flatuating (odors linger, it's very dangerous for the person behind you and you would not want other people to know how disgusting you are) One more area I almost missed is upstairs. You can't miss that and that is where there are more of those table top figurine gaming areas (RPG). I've never played those before but if you look at some of the pictures I posted you can pretty much tell what it is. Having a birthday party for your kids? They have a package that includes 10 people for $250, give them a call for reservations and details. There specials all week long are on Tuesdays the games are $5, Wednesdays are Ladies night, they play free with a partner they bring in (Syd, that's sexist and not fair!) Xfinity customers! yea you, if you have an account then the wifi here is very strong. Me likey! Any questions? You may reach them at 936 650 7900 (What kind of number is THAT?) You're not going to find everything in the game/fun world here, but I can guarantee you that if you are any kind of "gamer" then there should at least be one thing here that can touch your inner childhood sitting there with your friends on weekends wasting time like you had no care in the world. At 9 or 10 pm at weeknights it's time to go back to reality as the place closes, Friday and Saturdays will yield you more time of around 1:00 a.m.

They have thousands of games lining the walls and are willing to open to demo if there's multiple copies. There are tables for all the standard wargames, 40k, warmachine, xwing, etc. The selection of reaper miniatures is one of the largest I've seen, so great if you just want to pick up something to paint. There's a small computer gaming room, but I don't think it's used much. Best of all, there's a used minis bin, which is great if you just love painting minis like me, or just want to find some cheap buyins. (There are some complete armies for sale.) Only cons are it's cluttery if that bothers you, due to the walls being lined with board games, and the fact it opens at 4 on weekdays. This was my second time here, and somehow, it was even better than the first! I went with my best friends, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated to amazing customer service--the team here really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The game selection is fantastic! This time, I chose Space Wars over the Zombie Outbreak game, and WOW--it truly felt like stepping into another universe. The graphics are insane! The level of detail and immersion make it feel like you've actually crossed into a new dimension. I couldn't believe how real everything looked and felt, especially when you're dodging, shooting, and exploring the different environments. With pricing starting at $50 for a 30-minute session, it may seem a bit steep, but trust me--it's worth every penny! The time flies by because it's so engaging. We ordered a huge fishbowl for our drink and heads up: it's not strong at all, so we also ordered extra shots on the side to add. Keep in mind that the fish bowl is fairly large - there were 5 of us working on it and it lasted. Food is also availble: your typical wings, fries, nachos, burgers, pizza, etc. The Sampler was good for out party to snack on as we bowled. It came with wings, tenders, soft pretzels, fries, and mozerella sticks. I enjoyed the platter except for the fact that I dipped a huge piece of pretzel into what I thought was cheese sauce, only for it to be honey mustard. I guffawed incredulously as this took me by surpise. This was 100% user errror; just thought it was funny and that it'd be good to share for educational purposes. (Don't be like me lol.) We had no issues with the bowling lane. Every lane already came stocked with a variety of bowling balls of different sizes and weights. The system worked seamlessly. No glitches, it worked relatively fast, none of our balls got stuck, etc. One thing to note is that the bowling balls seem well-used. Many of them are chipped and have a slightly greasy feel, but I mean at the end of the day, they still get the job done.
