Pro tip: If you have a chip on your windshield, it's worth getting it looked at sooner than later. If you procrastinate like me, you'll come out to the car one day with a crack instead of a chip. And cracks need replacing, which is a lot of money! Thankfully, this branch of Speedy Glass was there to help right away when I needed them to. I went in on a Monday but their schedule to fully replace a windshield was booked up until Friday. On Tuesday morning, I get a call from them asking if I'd like to be moved up to Wednesday. It's impressive that they would dig so deep into their schedule to see how they can move me up. As promised, the car was ready in exactly 4 hours. They asked if I need a ride to and from the shop via taxi, but I live close enough arrange something myself. I'm not sure if all Speedy Glass branches do the same thing, but this one was excellent. I actually didn't get any work done here, but that's because I didn't need to. Originally, I did go here too allow them to get me a quote for repair on my 2007 BMW 323I windshield that had a rock chip, that immediately formed into a crack. However, because the crack was larger than the criteria for a patch, they concluded the windshield needed to be replaced. I was quoted $1,200 CAD for the job. I reluctantly scheduled a time with them. Later, the thought occurred to me that I could possibly save some money. Long story short, I cancelled the appointment with speedy glass, whom I (un)apoletically believe had probably already had the replacement in transit at this point, and booked with another company (for fairness will remained unnamed). In the end, I only had to pay the ICBC deductible of $200 CAD since I had comprehensive, and the full bill only came to 800ish, of which was covered by ICBC. $1,200 was not only a ripoff but was not even an accurate quote if it was done without any coverage! Unless your patch job is less than 200 deductible, stay away like the plague! read more

I popped in today to repair a rock-chip in my windshield. The lady (sorry, forgot her name) was very knowledgable and friendly. I clearly needed a full repair and it was communicated and there were no surprises. From the moment I called the call centre to the office visit I had a fantastic service experience . Fast, friendly, honest service. Highly recommended!! My car sustained a rock chip to the windshield about the size of a quarter. A nasty looking one. Went to this Speedy and they said, based on my insurance, I could get it fixed for free. Unfortunately, they were fully booked for the day. I wanted to have the chip fixed asap so went down the street to Broco. The person at Broco barely looked at my windshield and said it was not repairable. I needed the entire windshield replaced. Odd, since 2 minutes ago Speedy said they could fix it free of charge. Scam? You be the judge. Needless to say I went back to Speedy. My chip was filled within about 45 minutes. The girls there were upfront about the service and what I could expect. They also made safety their priority. read more

Seems that service level is related to location - others had 5 stars. My wife had a window done - good job, nothing to say but, folks you could vacuum that shattered glass on the floor, as curtesy - I simply had no proper lighting and pro-vacuum to total clean. read more

Old Caucasian lady extremely rude and ignorand. Don't make eye contacts leaving me standing in front of the service desk for more than three minutes while she has no other customer, chating with her coworkers, using her phone. Minutes later finally tell me to have a sit and wait and I did. 5 minutes later another customer came in she get up and help right away. I don't like saying this but I felt offended. Until the young lady came back from lunch she was nice. Thanks to her. She deserve the credit. Horrible experience. Would never go back. At least not this location. read more

Only negative was calling them on the phone, was automatically routed to "head office" and the telephone manners of the head office person were not great, as she was unnecessarily obtuse before transferring me back to the location phone number. read more

I have just put one star on you Yelp review page. Two years ago, I have my Leased 2016 BMW X5 windshield replaced in your Speedy Glass Burnaby. I have given my ICBC insurance paper to your service person and they knew I have a leased vehicle and I needed a BMW windshield on my 2016 BMW X5 when I return it after lease due. They put a after market cheap glass on my vehicle and no one told me. Two weeks ago, a BMW inspector checked my vehicle and notice me that I have to replace the cheap BMW windshield on this 2016 BMW X5 for a BMW windshield when I return it, or they will charge me for it. I have spoken to Speedy Glass Burnaby managements for many times and they understand I am going to be charged for a big money on it, one manager whose name is Ryan York refused to do anything to me and also blame me for not telling them to put OME glass. What a customer service. Never go back, keep away with Speedy Glass. read more

I have reported a leaky bedroom window to our strata and they hired speedy glass. First it was a nightmare to make an appointment as the number for Michelle, that was given to me, was only available during business hours and there is answering service after hours. When I finally managed to get through I was given one hour window (between (2:30 -3:30) and technician showed up around 4:40. He reported leaking issue as "CONDENSATION ISSUE ONLY", when I specifically told him, water is pooling on our windowsill mostly during heavy rain with wind. We have to put a towels on the windowsill so it won't destroy our laminate floors. We had to make a second appointment as the first visit was obviously waste of time. This time 2 technicians showed up hours earlier than our window was given. They were lucky I was home that day and could let them in earlier. Anyway, they figured out water is indeed coming in during heavy rain and has nowhere to go, so it overflows to windowsill and suggested more holes to be drilled into the window frame (at least that's what I overheard when they were talking, but were kinda hesitant to fix it, as they would have to claim onto 3rd floor from outside) so they reported it again as CONDENSATION ISSUE ONLY. GEEZ REALLY!!!! Are you kidding me? We had condensation issues since we moved in years ago, but it never leaked over to windowsill + it's only happening during heavy rain. I'm not expert here, but obviously they had no clue how to fix the issue or don't want to fix it. They suggested to strata to drill more holes into the frame to help drain, but they can not guarantee it won't crack the glass and that would be extra of course. They quoted almost $500 for couple holes drilling. Maybe speedy glass should stick to car windows only and leave house windows to real experts!!!! read more

Don't you hate those stone chips on your windshield? I was driving on Hwy 1 and I got a nasty stone chip on my windshield when I passed a semi truck. Those trucks sure throw a lot of stones off their tires. I went onto Speedy Auto Glass' website and answer their questions and it said my windshield needed replacement which I doubt emphatically. So, I went into the shop without an appointment. The receptionist told me to wait for the next available person to look at the damage. So, I sat down and read an outdated National Inquirer Magazine about Kim Kardashian's plastic booty, that's some good reading. Finally, the technician came out and saw the chip and told me it'll cost $90 to fix two chips with a 30-45 min wait time. Sure enough, exactly 45 minutes later, I got a chance to see the repairs. He did a good job on the chips but later when I got home, I noticed another chip that we both didn't catch during the initial inspection. read more
