Kevin provided outstanding communication from our very first phone call. He answered ALL of my windshield replacement questions-pricing and turn-around time promptly and professionally. The only hiccup was on the day of my windshield replacement. I arrived at their Burnaby location that was on their website only to drive up to a fenced in abandoned building. When I called to find out what was going on, a crew member apologized and said that location had closed. I was kindly asked to reroute to their Coquitlam shop, ten mins away. Upon my windshield and technicians were ready to go. We were told it would be ready in approximately two hours. They honored their word and text messaged me on the two hour mark saying it was ready for pick up. Except for the minor location detail, it was an overall positive experience. We were visiting Vancouver from Oregon and on the second night of our stay, our car was broken into when it was parked in our hotel parking garage. After making a couple of unsuccessful calls to glass companies for help, we found Excellence. And it turned out to be one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. They had the replacement window that we needed, and upon arrival at their shop, began working immediately. The work was done to perfection, on time and at a much lower cost than I would have expected. I dropped off my car at 10 am and the window was installed in an hour. They needed to get another part to re-affix my rear view mirror to the window that took a little extra time than they expected, so they gave me a lift home and delivered my car right to my door a couple hours later. Purchased a groupon deal for this company a while back. I was impressed that they offered home service. I took them up on the offer. The quote over the phone seemed high, I thankfully called ICBC a couple hours before they came to fix my window and ICBC said they over quoted me by a lot. $100 to be exact. When EAG came and presented the bill, I confronted them on the over quote and they made a big fuss, I was fuming!!!. I later went to get in my car after they were finished and they left all the materials (paper, plastic scraps) scattered both in the car on the seats and outside all around the car and on the street. There was so much garbage left over, my partner called them up to come clean it up. They again made some excuse, but showed up an hour or so later and cleaned it up. read more

This company IS NOT AN APPROVED ICBC GLASS EXPRESS FACILITY. Do not do business with them as when they damage you car as they did mine they will not attempt to fix it. There is no recourse through ICBC as they are not an approved installer. I am currently working through the complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I have also provided some important feedback to ICBC so hopefully they will not get approved as a ICBC glass express facility in the future. My experience is now almost laughable. I call on a Wednesday to get my window replaced via a mobile installer. Fred the owner (who pretends he is the manager when he wants to avoid responsibility) said he would get it down right away. Well by next Wednesday and me following up multiple times and missed appointments it was done by one installer and a helper who damaged by leather interior of a 2018 car. He was told by the installer to clean the smudges off the inside and jumped into my car with no seat protection and likely had a cleaning solvent on his hand to remove the sealant they use to adhere the windows on his hands. He left a palm print on my dash that cannot be removed . The helper looked like he was hired from a day laborer site. When I tried to get this address the owner basically said "take me to small claims" and did not attempt to resolve the damage. He then responded to BBB with some fake claims that he personally paid for the glass to be express shipped and the delay was that there was no glass in the province. I confirmed with Toyota this is FALSE. Regardless of his response Google what you have too and always go to an approved ICBC glass express facility. TERRIBLE _ AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I had my windshield replaced in Aug 2014 and it leaked. They repaired it 2 weeks later - it STILL leaked. They repaired it again and it STILL leaks. Now Jan 2015 and I have left over 5 messages and not one phone call back. They said it was guaranteed for life - so much for that!!! No reply means - no good business owner. I had a windshield installed by Fred and his assistant on my Xterra. They came to my work to do the job, which was great but too bad they left large molding off cuts on the street. STAY AWAY! They completely butchered the job. Glass was not installed properly; sits too low, molding not pressed onto glass evenly. Huge gap along the roof line and molding, which will catch dirt/water and cause rust. They scratched the paint around and under the windshield, lied to me about it not being them. When I pointed out that if the scratches were not caused by them, the exposed metal would show signs of rust and not be shiny, they still maintained that they did not cause them. They said they sealed the bare metal under the glass, which was a lie, as I can see the bare, unsealed metal in the giant gap at the top of the windshield. The exposed metal will rust and eventually leak. They left muddy footprints on my front seats. In general they: don't know what they are doing, will not own up to their poor installation and make it right. Very unprofessional. read more

I was driving on the highway and a rock cracked my windshield. The crack was too big to be repaired so I decided to just replace the whole windshield itself. I found Excellence Auto Glass on Groupon and read all the reviews which are all really positive. Decided to finalize my decision and go with them. Called the person I believe named Fred and made an appointment. They came and were really friendly then worked on my windshield which seem really well done. However, after a rainy day I realize there was a big leak in front of the drivers side on the inside. I called them (lifetime warranty) and I went to them to get it fixed. This was about a week in. Afterwards, they fixed it, all friendly once again, but the next day the leak was even bigger than before. Time was wasted for them and me but still I needed my windshield fixed especially if it was leaking from the inside on the drivers side which made it really dangerous for me to drive when it was raining. Another appointment was booked and this time they came over to fix it. After removing the tape the next day I realized what a horrible job they did. All they did was smeared the top with glue hoping water won't leak in but me being me, decided to give them the benefits of the doubt and wanting it all to be over. After a few days of sunshine came the rain. Yes, once again, it leaked. Called them yesterday and told them about how disappointed I was and how unprofessional the job they did last time was done. They apologized and made an appointment with me today (this was in November 2014) a bit after lunch time. It is officially 3:30PM. I waited and waited, called and called, it just kept going to voice mail. Received a call back and Bob (employee) said he was sick (3:40PM). Says he will call me at 10AM the next morning. He calls and tells me they don't have the molding (mold I am assuming) got to wait until tomorrow morning. Told him weather said it was going to rain and it has been more than a month since my windshield has been leaking. Kept repeating to play it by ear. He installed the molding the next day (still in November 2014) to only to my surprise it wasn't properly installed and a bit of water still gets in. Tired of trying to get them to fix it, I tried to bring it to other bigger companies like Speedy Glass and they wouldn't even touch it. The reason I got was because of the poor quality of mold and seal Excellence Auto Glass used on my car.
