Notably, the muffler place nearby actually recommended us to MidVan over their competitors as well (actually telling us to avoid a few of the other places along the way: "don't mess around, the guys at Midvan are pretty good.") Spoke with David, who was honest and friendly. To be fair, all of the other shops I spoke to were also friendly, but also opened with expensive quotes. David gave me a repair options for going through an ICBC claim, or a cheaper alternative if I wanted to pay out of pocket (i chose the cheaper). Since it was a 3rd party that was paying for me (the other person involved in the accident), he actually made it a point to get payment upfront, in order to protect both of us (myself as the accident'ee, and him as the repair person) from getting stuck with a bill. Fair, thorough, and took the time to explain the process to me. Arranged a courtesy car, completed repair by next business day, with price as quoted. Would use him for my future repairs. Recommended, certainly if you're in Burnaby and a no-brainer if you're in the Dawson/Brentwood area.

I returned 50 minutes later and was quite amazed to see my newly unscratched trunk. Sure, upon deep inspection under angled light reflection I can still see a couple of the scratch, but you will never get rid of something scratched so deep. Overall, I paid a very reasonable price for a very professional work done which I was very thankful for and happy with! Rather than paying 3x the price at a bodyshop, I'd recommend Vince.

They offered a loaner vehicle which was very helpful. I dropped my car off on Monday morning and picked up the loaner vehicle. They texted me every day to give me an update on the progress of the repair (very nice and assuring). The best part was that it was finished a day early - amazing. I picked up my car and it was just washed and very clean. You would never know there was damage from the accident. When the car was picked up, not only were the parts for the power window not reinstalled properly, the paint didn't match, and they had used touch up paint for the dents on the outside which they were supposed to repaint completely. So we brought the vehicle back again and left it with them for a day. when we came back to pick it up it looked like the dents had gotten worse and they just tried to fill up holes with more touch up paint. when we complained they said we had to bring the car back in a month because the paint needs time to settle.(Which is obviously a lie) if they had just owed up to their mistake and fixed it, i wouldn't even have had any problem with them. But not only was their attitude towards the problem terrible, they even said afterwards that he wasn't sure if we had something to do with damaging their work. Maybe this was just an isolated incident, with the person that was dealing with us,( Michael Leyland) but either was our experience was terrible!!! we are stil currently trying to go through icbc management to have it fixed. please be weary when bringing your car here !!!!

GLASS repair review:…read more I wanted to just review the glass repair department but because he doesn't have a fixed location, the review has to be connected to the auto body shop. People will always have a "guy" to recommend for whatever particular need you have. So when it comes to autoglass, my "glass guy" is "Alton" - a super helpful and responsive "glass guy" who will fix your windshield anywhere in the lower mainland! I don't know enough about glass to say how great a job he does, but in terms of customer service, it's the best. I've tried going to bigger chains before like "Speedy Auto Glass" where for the tiniest thing they will still require an "appointment" and charge an arm and a leg for it. Whereas this a very personal dealing which is always preferred when it comes to your vehicle because you've always got to trust the guy, even if it's just glass. I realize the bigger chains also have a mobile service, but you still have to deal with calling a main phone number that gets you transferred to the closest location and you never talk to the same person and never coordinating with the person who's actually doing the job. Whereas with Alton, it's the same person for everything, and he's got a big name like Morrey to stand behind his work (although I'm not a fan of all things Morrey).
