They are thoroughly skilled in the French reweaving technique with such results that on the one garment I was unable to find where exactly they did the work -- the damage was fixed with nary a sign. The work on both garments -- both suit jackets -- was done in obvious places: the upper back on one and the right sleeve on the other. They were challenging jobs and they are completely fixed. The turnaround time was quick respective of the skill and expertise that is required for this method of fixing. And the pricing is beyond reasonable. Listen, I hope I never have to contact these fine people again. But I rest assured that should I ever have another moth problem, it won't be the "end of the world" because the talented ladies at AGR will be there to . . . ahem . . . patch things up. I highly recommend AGR to make your holes whole again!

As much as I wish the jacket could have been ready when my grandfather passed, I was comforted by the quality of the repair when I finally did receive it. Although I was promised a discount because of their inability to complete my repair on time, the discount was small and relatively meaningless compared to the total cost. This left a bad taste in my mouth and the experience as a whole soured me towards ever wanting to use their services again. I mentioned as much in a negative review on this site shortly after returning home. Upon submitting my review, I was contacted in less than 2 hours by the owner, who apologized for my experience and offered me a full refund. Even after giving me all of my money back, she never asked me to take my review down, which spoke volumes of her character. Because of this, I have edited my review and rating. The final marks: Customer Service: 2.5/5 stars due to poor communication surrounding the delays. Quality of Repair Work: 5/5 stars

She said they'd be ready in about two weeks. Two weeks later I stopped in and my jeans weren't done. The owner apologized saying she was a little busier than normal, but that they'd be ready in the next two or three days. No big deal - stuff happens. I couldn't stop in during the week, but said I'd stop in the next Saturday. When I came back my jeans still weren't ready. The owner explained that she had some rush orders, where people pay extra to jump the line, and that pushed my request back. I kind of get it, I mean make your money, but I followed the rules and I felt like I was being penalized. After a short conversation, the owner ended up hemming my jeans after I stepped out to run a few other errands, which I appreciated... and she did a really good job. I'm willing to try again because I don't want to give up on a good tailor, but I'll definitely discuss lead times and expectations when I return.

She didn't bother to tell me that she stained it, nor that she tried to get it out and left a water stain as well. Horrible service. Accidents happen but not informing a customer is inappropriate and poor business.

I decided to take in a very formal gown I was wearing to a wedding to test them out before giving them 'the' dress. I was blown away. They are getting all of my business for any formal or complicated alterations I need! I am a petite 5'1" female and there was a lot of this dress that needed to be taken in and shortened. They also put in some bra cups so that I didn't have to wear a bra. It doesn't look like much from the outside of the building, and it's not in the best location. But when you go inside, you can immediately tell you're in the right place. They have high end equipment and a nice space. It was busy when I walked in, which is also a good sign. The people here are well trained and know what they're doing. The man I worked with really took his time to make sure my dress was laying properly and would fit well with his adjustments. He reminded me to stand tall so that it wouldn't be messed up as he was taking measurements. They were also able to get my dress done within two weeks! They gave it to me freshly pressed and ready to go. Awesome service. I can't say enough positive things about this place.

I asked her to pin the underboob area and she just ran her fingers over it to "flatten" it out. She started pinning the bottom for hemming which was odd to me since the top of the dress should be altered before even looking at the hem... I looked down and noticed she snagged my dress! Front and center right on the top layer, I pointed it out and she scrunched her face and tried to smooth it over and just moved on like it didn't happen!? At this point all the red flags were glaring me in the face and I kindly asked "this is just a consultation, right?" And she scoffed and said "no, you're booked with me to tailor your dress." I let her know " I'm so sorry there must have been a misunderstanding this was just supposed to be a consultation." Then she proceeded to basically tell me I was wasting her time. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I feel awful after this experience. I left in tears with a snagged dress, I don't feel like she listened to me or tried to accommodate my requests. I would NEVER trust this place with any piece of clothing, let alone my wedding dress.
