Sharon took care of my pan, him alteration, quickly and professionally. The quality seem to be also very high. Very satisfied with my experience. read more

Poor quality, bad communication, not reliable with time. I was told my items would be ready on a Friday. I arrived at 2pm and they were not started. I was told to come back at 5pm. I returned and they were not complete. Returned the next morning to pick up poor quality of work. It appears to be a Mom & Pop shop, very nice people, but will not use again and would not recommend due to issues above. The owner was apologetic about the delay and poor communication, but the poor quality speaks for itself. read more

The service and people inside were perfect! And not to mention how fast and precise they were with my clothing! 100% recommend

I felt like the leather jacket repair was a little bit a rush job. The jacket was pretty torn and leather is hard to replace and make it look well but I think it could've been done better. I do appreciate them getting back to me quickly and getting it done in one week. The jacket is now wearable where before it was not. read more

We appreciated the walk-in availability and the quick turnout altering my husband's suit. She restructured the coat and pants. We are so pleased! read more

This place is awesome! I needed a suit adjusted for an upcoming and when they say speedy they mean it! They got me my suit back so quickly I couldn't believe it. The people working there were very friendly and very communicative. Def will be taking more clothes here in the future! read more

Speedy Alterations is amazing! I had a formal event on Saturday and I came in on Tuesday to have my suit fitted. They had the suit ready by Wednesday afternoon through their "express service" option - totally worth it! Great quality and what a relief it was that they had the suit ready for me on such a short notice and at a fair price! read more

5 stars on service! My dress alterations are perfect! I will definitely use Speedy Alternations again.

Needed alterations the same day and when I tell you they met the standard and went above and beyond is an understatement. The dress is perfect for the wedding I'm in and they got it done after 4 hours! Would recommend 10X over! Their work is incredible! Thank you SO much! read more

I had such an amazing experience! I had a last minute dress emergency before a wedding and they got me in for a fitting and finished altering my dress in less than a week! amazing customer service and the sewing work was top notch! The price was so affordable! I recommend this place to anyone who may need adjustments to their clothing! read more

This place is simply the best. They are so easy and pleasant to work with. I have been to many tailors and cannot say the same about the others. This business is a rare gem. read more

The name for this is a joke, I never in my life had to wait a week for a simple alteration, and the price I was quoted was more than I paid for the pants (not from Walmart) , the woman that runs the business is a joke. Screw them I'll spend my money elsewhere, even though live 2 minutes from this crook. read more

I went here to have 3 pencil skirts, 1 maxi skirt, 1 dress pant, and 1 lace crop top taken in. She charged me approx. $30/piece after tax, and for as much as she had to take in and half of them being complicated I think this is fair pricing. I told her there was no rush (I didn't want a rush fee)--but she quoted me just a week and they were done on time. One thing that should be noted-- she asks you to pay at drop off. I was hesitant about that, especially since I believe in paying before seeing the end result, but she had good reviews on Yelp so I went for it. Everything turned out great. When I went to pick up my pieces, on first inspection, everything looked professionally taken in, no visible seams or strings, etc. She asked me to try everything on, and everything looked great. My only complaint is that between the 4 skirts and the pant, none of them fit the same on my waist. Two are just a smidge loose, but still stay where they need to and aren't noticeable, 1 was perfect, and 1 was just a smidge tight (not painfully so, just a little). So 1 less star for lack of consistency. But all in all, I'm very happy with it and will be back. read more

I have been on the hunt for THE tailor and haven't found a place that I fully trust. After reading Yelp reviews on Speedy Alterations, I took a big gamble and brought a dress that needed so much work, they basically had to rebuild the dress to get it to fit me. Moreover, I needed this to fit me perfectly in less than 2 weeks with zero room for error. Today, I picked it up and they did a FANTASTIC job!! Not only did they rise up to my expectations, they exceeded them by far. The dress fits like a glove. It fits so well that I look skinnier and more fit after they fixed it. (Just kidding). As for speed and pricing, they truly are speedy! I got a completely re-structured dress in less than 4 business days. My dress cost more than the other reviews, but I had so much work done to it and the fabric was pretty delicate (lace) that I feel like I got a great deal. I have paid other tailors so much more to do less work and left me dissatisfied. None of my clothes will be going anywhere but Speedy Alterations from now on! read more

I had five suits that needed altering after losing 50 lbs. The couple at Speedy Alterations exceeded my expectations did a FANTASTIC job! Each suit fits beautifully and you would never guess they used to be 3-4 sizes bigger. You get what you pay for and Speedy Alterations is top notch when it comes to the quality of work and professionalism displayed! I spent a third of what it would have cost me to replace my suits in my new smaller size. I am sold on Speedy Alterations and will take all clothing items in need of tailoring to them from here on out. read more

I went to this shop because of a good review they got by Jennifer D. on yelp - she was so right! They were so nice to my daughter and me, and did an EXCELLENT joy on the alterations - and were FAST! I will definitely go back here when I need alterations. read more

Pull up to the alteration shop the day before NYE to pick up my alterations just to find out they are closed!! No call no text they just closed the business down without warning now I don't have anything to wear on NYE... I am livid read more

Wow. Love this place. We were looking for a tailor who could turn two pairs of mens pants in a day. We live out of state so thanks Yelp for leading us here. Very reasonably priced, we even came 4 hours early on our one day turn around and she was already done! My boyfriend looked great at his sister's wedding activities because of his well fitting pants!! read more

I brought a suit in that needed to be altered. I brought it in on Saturday morning and needed it by Monday evening. I was afraid that it wouldn't be able to be done in time because I needed it in such a short turn around time. I was told that it would be no problem. I came in Monday evening and it was ready and looked great! Thank you!! read more

I don't know enough about tailoring to know if this is five stars, but this place seemed great to me. I had two pants hemmed. They were speedy measuring and fitting me. They were having a very busy week, but she still managed to get the alterations done within a week. It was $20 for two pairs of pants (plus tax). Seems good to me! Oh yes, and they say they don't have the pet fox anymore---who knows if that's true or not, but don't get your hopes up to see it like I did. read more

DONT GO HERE! I should have walked out when i heard the guy in line before me trying to pick up his clothes that weren't ready yet! I was supposed to pick up my gown Thursday and instead went Friday morning the day of my event! The dress still wasn't ready! I had to leave and come back for a simple strap adjustment. Don't say you can have something done on time if you can't and the price was INSANE but i needed it done. Also as soon as i put the dress on the clasps broke off the strap.... read more

I read all of the review for Speedy Alterations and decided to give them a try. I am a fan. I took them 5 pair of pants and had them back in a week. The best part, it only cost me $43. I've been other places that took twice as long and cost quite a bit more. I'll definitely be taking my other clothes here. read more

Hard working, honest business worthy of your patronage. As the other's have mentioned, this is a no-frills, service based, tailoring shop. They are less expensive than most, and the turn time generally is a week on most items. read more

Just as the name says, Speedy!! Somehow ripped the seam of my jeans and didn't feel like changing... Called here, stopped in and they sewed/patched them perfectly within about 8 minutes. Awesome job! read more

I took two pairs of dress pants here to have them hemmed. It's a mom and pop shop that is wonderful. The woman greeted me and took my order promptly. She asked me when I would like to pick them up and I told her to take her time. I came back the next week because I wasn't in a hurry, but she said she would have them done the next day if I needed. They seemed pretty busy. I got my pants back and am totally satisfied. I paid $8 for each pair plus tax. I will keep taking items here, because I am short and do not foresee myself growing luxuriously long legs in the near future. read more

Last minute complicated prom dress alterations done exceptionally and in great time. Will definitely return.

I decided to use Speedy Alterations based on all the fantastic Yelp reviews, and I have never been disappointed. I'm short, so my jeans almost always have to be hemmed. They do such a great job-you could never tell the difference! They have also shortened sleeves on jackets for me, added new zippers, etc. Totally worth it and super fast! read more

I went in to get a very delicate material that had a hole in it patched up... The final product looks great! The price was very reasonable! I will take my other items I need fixed there no question! read more

Speedy Alterations a total lifesaver and quality work.!! Last minute decision for my son to attend homecoming and the suit was received on Friday evening and was way too big I called Speedy Alterations at 10am in a Saturday morning to see if that could hem the pants same day. She said bring in in and they could get that done. When we were there she said the rest of the pants needed to be altered as well and she could get it done same day. Then she asked if we had the Jacket because it was probably too big too. I brought the jacket in and she altered the entire suit and had it ready the same day at 3! THANK YOU! We will be back for our alteration need! GO THERE! You won't be disappointed! read more

Don't let the name of the business fool you like it did me. They are priced way too high and extremely slow! Oh and if you want speedy service, yeah that is another charge. I came in to have a few things sewn on my military uniform. It was $5 for each item to be sewn on. I could understand if it were something big or complex but a simple rectangular US Army nametape or my small square rank...yep $5 a piece. read more

Awesome lady that works here! She is very kind and efficient! It was a little pricey for what I wanted but she did get an important alteration done for me in 2 days so I think that relented the price. Speedy, I would say is an appropriate word to describe the services! It's kind of awkward bc it's a small shop so the dressing room is basically in the waiting room but you'll live! Lol read more

Did a good job on the groomsmen suits for my wedding. The only thing I recommend is making sure you are specific with what you want and how you want it to fit, so they aren't left to guess read more

Run away quickly from this shop! Speedy Alterations is NOT speedy and does poor quality work. After waiting 7 days to have a decorative patch sewn on a sweatshirt, I arrived to find it was not done... hanging on a hanger in the back of the shop. 4 minutes later it was given to me with the patch not centered and unevenly placed where I aske it to be. I had to remove it and will find a shop that is concerned about customer service. Tell all your friends not to waste their time here... I certainly will! Mark read more

Had a strapless dress taken in. Cost was more than I'd like, but quality was great. Overall happy.

I've never been to a tailor/seamstress before, but I had a pleasant experience. That said, I don't know what 5 stars looks like, so I took off one star. Sophia was very helpful. I dropped off a suit jacket to get the sleeves taken up. Spent less than $30 and she got the job done in 5 business days. read more

Really bad experience. Paid an extra $40 to have two dresses hemmed for a day earlier pickup at 3pm and I went in at 4pm and she hadn't even started on them. I picked them up the next morning and both hems were completely uneven. She would not refund the rush fee since she did not meet the expectation timeline she told us she would. Don't ever go just by Yelp reviews. read more

They were wonderful!! Needed 2 bridesmaid dresses done in less than a week and they got them done quickly and they fit perfectly. Well worth the money. Thank you!! read more

I bought a dress off of Etsy for my wedding. The kind you send measurements and they make it custom. Months later after receiving it, it was a mess. It was too big and too long everywhere. Clearly not what I sent for measurements and i was so disappointed. I came here, tried it on, and they pinned it off. I was told only a week for alterations. Which is amazingly fast! I was so worried. Sure enough, I came back a week later and it's a completely perfect fit. It's beautiful and I'm now so excited for the wedding. Not to mention, the price was very fair for the amount of work needed (essentially rebuilding the entire dress!!!) I cannot say thank you enough to this shop or recommend it enough to anyone needing to trust in someone for their big day. I will for surely be using this shop for all alterations in the future. read more

Have had a few bad experiences in the past with dodgy so called" tailors", visited this place on strength of their previous reviews, wanted two pretty expensive suits altered to have a narrower leg, guy on phone was great, pop in, couldn't actually believe how reasonable price was, girl next day was helpful, friendly and said they would be ready in a couple of hours!!!!, great job done , any problems just to pop back actually told them to take a couple of extra quid as I was so pleased, won't be going anywhere else in future and highly recommend speedys, restored my faith Robbie M read more

I am incredibly disappointed in my experience here. I took in 2 pairs of jeans to be hemmed and just picked them up on Saturday. They were hemmed at least an inch shorter than where she had marked them. I had high expectations based on the other reviews here but those expectations were far from met. I really wanted to like them, they seemed very nice and the price was good. But now that I have to completely replace two pairs of jeans the price doesn't seem so great. read more
